If you watch the full version I explain that the camera I had plugged in wasn’t able to be monitored for exposure, white balance or anything else since I was holding it in one hand and holding an osmo pocket to capture everything in the other. It’s not lower quality it’s just a different camera. I had an R8 with a wide dynamic color profile connected to the wireless and an osmo pocket with a baked in color profile filming me. The osmo pocket naturally has a more contrasty look with the standard color profile while the R8 needed me to set a rough exposure so I could walk with it without needing to adjust it the whole time.
Try it in a convention center with 2000 attendees. That’s where the mustard is!
We’ve certainly done that with some Teradeks! We keep them up real high on stands to make sure the signal is above heads.
Any thoughts around the reduced video quality coming from the receiver? Looks like there is some significant compression going on.
