@@jeffulilweeb If you ask me, I think that it was pretty clever to put workshop maps to the Scrimmage map pool since most people don't try new maps cuz they're worried about their rank. My personal experience was not that nice tho. I get to play with a bunch of griefers who try to kick me for no reason (I duo queue only), they block me and walk into my aim or my mollies all the time even tho my TF is pretty high in mm.

@@twigo5625 My TF is pretty neat. Whenever I soloQ, I get the cleanest matches without any fishyness or griefers. When I queue with any of my numerous friends (whom I only know in game not irl), I get the red or yellow notification in the lobby chat (warning about lower TF of friends) quite often and from time to time the fishy smell of a cheater rises up during the match. I'd describe the situation as unlucky, yeah. I even got a game recently where both teams had trolls.
I guess at this point I also have to mention that I didn't play a lot scrimmage games, because of the initial bad experiences, so this is not an "I played 20 scrimmage games, here's what happened..." kind of review, but more of a first impressions after a short experience kind of thing. ;))

If you do voices for fun in half of your videos, doing voices in matchmaking will not help disguise you

That he definitely is, but CS:GO doesn't have that big of a community as compared to Fortnite or PUBG however it DOES have a dedicated and loyal community. As much as I love WarOwl's videos, he's not as mainstream as other gaming YTrs. For example, I only got to know about WarOwl after I saw one of SovietWomble's CS:GO bullshittery videos.

Unranked MM should work like in League of Legends, where it looks at your rank, because when i play scrimmage, there is always at least 2 players who rage quit and all the time i get silvers and golds in both teams
I think both the point of the game mode AND one of the bigger problems with it is that it allows people of lower rank to play with their higher ranked friends (which is unbelievably helpful for a noob like myself), but crucially, in the true competitive game mode, on normal 64-tick Valve servers - and the high-rank friends don't need to worry about how it could affect them. The reason it's also really problematic (I think) is because of scenarios like yours, because for the most part it will bring massive skill & experience gaps into the match which lends itself to rage quits & hackusations. I'm not sure whether Valve has implemented the same sort of 'rank-averaging' system as 5-man regular MM queuing, or whether they've gone Danger Zone style and just ignore ranks completely (that's a whole other rant) for the scrimmage mode. Apologies for the super-long reply, and I'm sorry you've been having such bad luck with scrimmage - all the best for future matches

By the way, allowing people to leave on 5v5 will just create chaos. Please also note that you can't randomly join because scrimmage still puts similar skill level players.

Hey, if you feel like branching out maybe do some more siege content. Also, I really liked the over watch content that you put out years ago, and that was when I didn't even play the game At that time.
And if you did you more siege content it would make sense because a lot of counter strike players transition to siege (and for some reason I run Into a lot of overwatch players, which I wouldn't have imagined There would have been much overlap).
