There’s no moisture in the aluminum just FYI. It comes from the torch. Preheat is a big help though for aluminum. I usually preheat any aluminum before welding it regardless of thickness or process.

Hey buddy, I was wondering if you could do a vid of the 285 and the spool aluminum? I'm considering that setup for my personal. Doesn't have to be much , just an actual demo with the spool capabilities. Thanks for the videos very informative and interesting. Good to see people actually using the equipment they demo. A lot of content makers do demo's but none of their other videos show any signs of the brands they demo. Usually they using other brands altogether.

When do you decide to pull the pin on a project like this? When you were bending that tube down and it started to rip I thought for sure it was a goner and you'd need to build all new or at least cut off the old one part and add new to the rest. It will certainly be stronger than new.👍
It might not of tore if that area was heated up before straightening it?? Really good job tho mate should of been gusseted from the factory don't you think ?
