I don't do strict "carnivore" (meaningless title for a diet) though humans are *very obviously* carnivorous. We stand taller than anything else our size, we have a very simple *extremely* acidic digestive tract (more acidic than buzzards, dogs and cats) we have one stomach, and it's blatantly obvious that many humans do not do well with certain plant defense chemicals. I eat fruit, and some fermented veggies ... even eat unbleached, organic bread (one flat bread a day) ... but still ... I eat north of 2/3 pounds of meat a day. The more animal fat I eat, the happier I am, the better my mood, higher my sex drive, better I sleep. He went off the diet because he's as clueless as most others. Being a carnivore means you *prefer* and primarily benefit from meat. (Which should be ideally, raw) Eating 100% meat is pointless and against what humans would naturally eat. We would have eaten fruit, and roots, bugs, eggs, and other things we found palletable between or during hunts. Does that change the fact that we clearly heavily prefer an overwhelming majority of our calories to come from meat? No.

The sleep is TRUE. I started carnivore and would only eat 2 big meals a day roughly 10-12 hours apart. My last meal of the day would be roughly 2-4 hours before bed and my eye lids would SINK IMMEDIATELY when I went to bed.

Ehh carnivore is a weird one. I did it for three months or so. Honestly your energy after the first two weeks is pretty good as long as the fats are there. It’s sustained tho, you definitely don’t get that whole carb fed sugar high pre workout energy after a big meal but you also don’t get the post big meal sleepy time feeling. I don’t think it’s for everyone , but personally I felt fantastic Doing it. Energy was my lease concerning factor. Pooping like once every 3 days was the weird part 😂

When i started eating extremely clean i didn’t knew anything about food or calories, when i ate a huge ass salad with only veggies i thought it was loaded with calories. i underate for a year and went from 80kg to 67kg while i train and im 183cm. my workouts were shit, worst mood changes, couldnt walk stair without getting tired legs. now i eat 1000 calories extra and feel so much better
Carnivore and I do sleep better but now I can no longer nap at all. It's one of those good news, bad news things. I have more energy. I don't have food cravings and energy swings. But I used to love to nap and now even when I have extra time it's just not possible.

For me I was on Trulicity and metaformin for type II diabetes and always felt like crap. So perhaps I didn’t notice “keto flu” or have any withdrawal symptoms moving off of carbs. How old are you? I am almost 60, started carnivore 5 months ago. Lost 22lbs and then stalled according to the scale. However, my body is still healing and changing. Yesterday I noticed there was only one small role of fat on my midback verses 2. The smaller bra now fits more comfortably than a month ago. I have 60 yrs of damage to undo.

I was also in LCIF for three years I’m 90% meat to 10% vegetables. I had a bad case of hemorrhoid. Because of meat I was constantly bloated, constipated, etc. I had my final decision about it and slowly chose to transition to pescatarian… I’m happier with it. Thinking about the idea of me eating meat (Beef, Pork, and Chicken…) now is a no no for me I will stick to 90% vegetables and 5% fish and 5% fruits. Going to the bathroom when I did LCIF was hell and traumatic.
Most bloating cases from eating healthy carbs, is due to low or poor aerobic health which directly affects visceral tissue function ie.. gut peristalsis and gut motility, and nutrient absorption. Anaerobic athletes struggle with this quite often. Carnivore can help this metabolic issue for a while, but it won't fix the problem. Increasing aerobic efficiency improves gut health.

Have you actual ever read a scientific study that reports that plants are healthy and meat is bad? They are all just obervstional studies. If you have no idea what the means, basically, they look at a bunch of poorly acquired data, and then look for some type of pattern. And then they say it’s a cause-and-effect relationship. Idk it’s hard to explain over text. Basically, it’s not rigorous and discipline science, and crock pottery and dishonesty of the highest order.

Contrary to popular belief Fiber is not necessary for humans and actually harms the gut rather than help it. When doctors tell patients to rest their bowels they tell them to stop eating fiber. Funny how that works

@@brandonpacheco9713 There are thousands of us that are eating exactly ZERO fiber and thriving. Science gets it wrong a lot of times, particularly when studies are either funded via a conflict of interest, or just run poorly.
I had diseases and illnesses eating PLENTY of fiber and eating what is suggested as a "healthy" diet. Two years on a carnivore diet and I've never felt better. Everything has completely reversed or disappeared except for my hypothyroidism, and even that has improved a lot.

Also, eating just meat doesn't cure or get rid of disease and Tristyn stopped this diet because it's not beneficial in the long term. It's been supported by numerous studies and anecdotal evidence that people with a mixed diet of meat fruit and vegetables are vastly healthier than people on an all meat diet.

Well all i know is all my physical ailments were healed no more knee pain brainfog gone lost 65 lbs healed fatty liver and my doctor was surprised at how good my bloodwork is because he told me not to. After he saw the results he td me keep doing it and actually heasome other patients with it
