Red Raw Maca is amazing!! I've only been taking it for a week but it's loaded with Amino Acids and after about 10 mins of drinking it, it makes me feel so good!! The only issue I had was it messes with my digestive system, as in cramps and constipation. I found out that the Raw powder has that effect on some people with sensitive stomach issues so decided to do some research and found that the best way to take the raw powder was to cook it first. In my case, I boil water, add a teaspoon of instant coffee and a teaspoon of cocoa powder and 2-3 teaspoons of the Red Maca powder and it goes down so much easier. The key being to dissolve the powder in boiling water or milk first (essentially cooking it). You can also add to a bowl of porridge but I prefer coffee. I made the mistake of just stirring it in with cold water and drinking it with lumps in it still, that was a big no-no for me. I also decided to order the Gelatinized capsules so that the starch content has been filtered out. This is an alternative to cooking the raw powder. Once you find a method of cooking/preparing it that works for you, it works wonders on the body. Almost immediately you can feel the effects it has on the body. The effects of Maca as a libido enhancer, pale into insignificance when compared to combining it with with Suma root (Pfaffia paniculata), a plant that seems to boost the oral bioavailability of Maca's active compounds-as it does with many other adaptogens and supplements. And if you can't get Suma root, just combine the Maca with Schisandra chinensis extract for an improved Maca experience.
I've used maca and found it to be very beneficial in reducing chest fat, building muscle, lowering my bodies oestrogen and fighting fatigue, which is especially important when on a very low-calorie diet. However, I found gelatinised maca to be less effective so if you're a muscle builder, I say go for raw maca and cycling it (6 weeks on, 4-6 weeks off).

I never noticed anything with it , but this could be individually different. I did notice better gains in gym and more awake mentally and less tired in gym
It depend. Eat everything in moderation! If your libido is low the answer is yes. If your libido is already within the normal range than it will not really be. Libido in general is all about proper blood flow to all organs and gassiness. In short anything that cause gassiness and drop blood flow deeply affect libido. Maca powder / maca root powder is high in vitamin k. Too much vitamin k plus if your personal diet is not healthy it will resulting in high blood clot and gassiness. Cheers bro!

I think its important to be aware of all possible side effects.i love Maca. It makes me feel great! But when it comes to night it will make it extremely difficult for me to fall asleep and I'll wake up every 2-3 hrs. I've reduced the amount the to 1/4 th teaspoon and still affects me in this way. I've tried really early in the morning and then I've tried switching it to night because I've read that our body metabolizes things differently at night and that has worked for some people who this (and lions mane) causes insomnia for. But I can't seem to find a way to take it now without it affecting my sleep. Super sad.

That isn't true per say. If you eat and lift weights it helps with gains. So you will gain weight but the right type of weight since your building muscle 💪

Out of all the herbs I've tried, black maca by far had the most noticeable effect as far as anabolic and reproductive aspects.

Ashwagandha is best and safe for long term use but in case maca we can't.
Ashwagandha is not supposed to used long term if you have a thyroid disorder.
Ashwhagndha is addictive IMO. Maca has had zero side effects except sleep disruption for me
