    I think he has wisedom. There is a saying "I am not worried about the 1,000 techniques you've done once but the 1 technique you've done 1,000 times." Iro iro no waza no renshu oshimasu. Osu
    Thanks for video

    Excellent techniques. It it all starts with a simple block. He's right... that's not fighting.
    Using this technique... the fight is over before it began.
    Shabazz... You the man!

    Some of the best instruction I've seen on UA-cam. Great techniques, and also great explanations of concepts.
    I would certainly love to train with Sensei Shabazz.

    Haha, that's great! Sensei Shabazz seems like a fun guy. I'd love to visit his dojo if I'm ever in his area.

    you make a good point, but to give him some benefit of doubt, if he is teaching the same art established by Richard Beherens, then the wasted movements are because the camera is on. (Mas. Beherens prefers their techniques remain "in the family")

    He said "it is a knock out area" it is...referred to in boxing as the button. Rarely in boxing do you see a one punch knock out. It is a series of blows that accumulate to the knock out. Notice he strikes the same spot 4 times and the last was a knee strike to the chin, while still maintaining control of the attacker with an armbar lock.

    I was curious in what form of Aikijitsu sensei Shabazz does, since there are many forms. This form specifically is really cool.

    Very reminiscent of the great Moses Powell...has Master Shabazz evolved from that lineage.The best words of the piece" If you have five solid techniques...wisdom"I am a practitioner of Tai Chi(yes, the art of defending yourself against old ladies attacking you with handbags in slow motion...yeah!0 magic word mentioned by Master Shabazz...Root!0 Best wishes to all!

    innorway if its illegal to atack an atacker or use wepons fire wepons.
    the funny thing is people who say self deffence they are refering to violence and fighting
    self deffence should be deffence not atack...

    I'm with you on this, I'd rather be in court for killing or nearly killing some street thug, than be in a pine box. What trailedge doesn't understand, is that these punks are just as likely to kill you or hurt you even if you give them what they want. I've been on the wrong end of a gun before, and the filthy little bastard almost shot me. I broke his hand and tore his finger off with the trigger guard of the gun. I went to court, and won, he is doing 15 years for attempted murder.

    I agree, but since true martial arts is not a sport, it would be:
    Don't fight PREVAIL ;)

    He is correct this is not a classical style. He is incorrect that Ali Shabazz is a student of Prof. Duncan. I have trained with Sensei Ali Shabazz for 12 years and left a classical style to do so. I have no regrets. I have also driven up to Jamaica Queens, NY and participated in training with Prof. Duncan. I left with more knowledge. Is he a liar? I have no idea. Is he a skilled practitioner and teacher? Absolutely!

  • @SuubUrbanNinja
    @SuubUrbanNinja  15 років тому +1

    Sorry but you dont know what your talking about. 1st off Master Shabazz is not a student of Prof. Duncan. Didnt you read the title "Aikijujitsu VISITS" the ninjutsu martial arts school. This man is from another style and came as a guest to teach. Next , Prof Duncan is respected and acknowledge as a martial arts expert and has been for many years. He has numerous awards and accolades from his work in the martial arts. So you are the one , who is the liar.

  • @SuubUrbanNinja
    @SuubUrbanNinja  14 років тому

    Martial arts is also self defense. And if everyone takes this "give up your wallet and property" mind set, then criminals will have the run of the place. Its time people take a stand. Of course be smart about it though. Id rather have that good luck in court then a good funeral, how about you?
