I've just met my landlord/lady this afternoon of a flat I'm moving into a week on Monday along with her cleaner as I complained it wasn't cleaned properly and the owner was very reluctant to even have the place cleaned properly as she thinks the last tenant cleaning it was good enough... also grubby walls/paintwork apparently I can repaint at my cost! If I didn't have to take it I would look elsewhere...I have to move because the owner of the place I've been renting for the past 3 years wants to move into it. I live in a very small coastal town in Scotland and suitable affordable rentals don't come up often😒
I like the 2nd place but those carpets have to be dealt with. The garden and that sweet enclosed porch are so nice. Love them. Last year when I was desperately looking for a place to live, I nearly lost my thread bc it was serious insanity. So just breathe and exhale. Stay centered even when it feels your tossed around like your inside a wash machine. All will be well. ❤
I gave up thirty five years of full time work to open a little shop on our farm to sell all my artistic creations. Using what was my parents granny flat. So decided our home needed renovating so I was comfortable it was done to create full time. The flat needed a full makeover, I have an acre of garden that I'm trying to make easier maintenance. What was I thinking, so much to take on when I want it happening all right now. I spend so much of my energy being so overwhelmed that I make my self so drained. Then a friend said . Overwhelmed is a choice. That's what I needed. I know I realistically can't do it all at once. So I choose not to be overwhelmed. As an interim place, that second house was quite lovely. As for not having a bathtub, well, I would make a little secluded area in the garden and put a galvanized tub. 🌱🛁🌱 Heehee! 😉 Would be quite lovely to bathe outside with all the plants around and soft music coming from inside the house. 🎶 That little sunroom would make a nice little home studio space as well. So much good lighting in there and near to James puttering around in the garage. He seems so much more comfortable on camera now. I hope you find something that works for the both of you. PLEASE do more videos of you doing your art. Those are my favorite. They kind of mesmerize me. I feel like I'm meditating when I watch you paint. You can kill two stones that way. You can offer your wisdom and get your art projects done at the same time.
The 2nd property is the nicest. More space, nice little established garden, garage, and glassed in porch is a lovely space to chill out in. The carpets do need a deep clean though. Used to be that landlords repainted the walls before the next tenants moved in, but not sure if that still applies nowadays. It is the responsibility of the exiting tenant to get the carpets deep cleaned....at least that's how it is in Australia. Fingers crossed you do get this property, as I feel it suits you both better than the first. Real estate situations are crazy nowadays after the pandemic.....alot of dodgy stuff going on in the industry, which is why so many people are living out of their cars, or homeless! Good luck with it all....
Hi, the second house needs all new carpet and a new vinyl floor in the kitchen! The bathroom are lovely and the backyard looks great! The garage is a plus, best of luck in your decision ❤
So happy to hear that you may have found a new place. The 2nd house had the lovely back garden, a garage for James, the glassed in room at the back (a home studio space for you perhaps), and what seemed to be a good amount of space and storage. It's hard feeling unsettled so I hope you get a positive response soon. Sending much love, hugs, and positive vibes to you and James. 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗✨✨✨
The second house seems just lovely. If they shampoo carpets thats great if not you can do it, not a big deal. I think you will enjoy living there. Sending light and happy feelings your way.
You have been looking for a while and it is so stressful. It’s bonkers the housing situation here right now. I have even heard of some people putting in offers for houses without even seeing them because they are so desperate and also going way over the asking price, lots of sellers only taking closed bids on their houses to get a price way over than it’s worth. So I wish you all the luck if you’ve found the one that works for you, I hope it has your name on it! Good luck 🍀
Dear Wendy, on Sundays I am always hopeful of finding a video of yours on UA-cam. When there isn't one, I feel sincerily happy for you, for taking your time to do your things; but if there is, then I thoroughly enjoy it! Today I opened UA-cam while immersed in my thoughts and not expectant of anything.. and there it was! The first thing I saw and with such a wonderful title! Your videos bring sunshine somehow. You are like a friend I haven't met; I admire you and sympathize with your struggles, always hoping for the best for you and James. I hope things with this cozy house work out! Lots of love from 🇨🇴💗
As soon as I saw the first house I knew it wasn't right. The lag of greenery outside would not be good for you. The second house was great! A private garden and a conservatory for your plant babies. Imagine sitting there even in winter surrounded by plants. That is what I have at home and it is essential. A garage for James too! Good luck with everything x
I too could see you in the 2nd cottage! I LOVED IT! I predict that the cottage fairies agreed that they found their new humans and soon the cottage shall be yours! ❤🧚♂

2nd house! More space. Storage! Sunroof! Sunlight for your plants! Landlords can shampoo carpets! A garden and a line for drying clothes and patio space. So sweet! Omgoodness and still have the upstairs to look at! A garage!! I can seebyou both there too!
Dearest Wendy and James the second house is lovely and the sunroom in the back is a jewel of a space. I love the enclosed garden and can see you Wendy sitting out there with a cuppa and enjoying the fresh air and a garden to plant veg and tomatoes. Also a rose and rosemary… so many possibilities and the flow of the house was very nice. Paint is easy to do and shampooing the carpet if needed is ok at least you know it’s done. Good luck my dears. It’s natural for you to have all these feelings you’ve shared. You will get through it and if you get the house, it’s meant to be… sending you softest hugs.. love you both !❤❤❤
🤞on getting the house... 2nd house has plenty of space your your you both as well as for your wished dog. That conservatory room is got amazing light for your studio and James has also his garage and a studio upstairs for his job... looking forward to see your next video... I send you fairy magical energy💫💫💫💫💫💫
James looked far more relaxed in the second house. That space looked far more nurturing, more natural light and beautiful yard. Blessings on your journey...I abhor moving, I have moved a lot in my adult life! ❤
let me guess, its the second one you like? i loved that one! the garden is calling to you, I hoope you get it! (and I actually love the navy bathroom) dont wait or it will be gone! Sometimes the inner conflict is just plain and simple fear, be brave! I'm routing for you! yay!
Good luck with the house Wendy, 2nd one was right for you and James. The garden would look lovely with your fairy lights in. If it’s meant to be it will happen.
It amazes me how you find all of the motivation that you do in your Art. I cannot multi-task and it seems the older that I get, the less patience that I have for attempting multi-tasking. I'm an Artist as well, but not on the scale of you at all. I do not really have my own space to do my Art and there are so many requirements of my time and things that I want to do outside of my Art, that it is difficult to find time for my Art at all.
I love your top, it's beautiful and the roses match the ones in the second house's garden! The first house felt soulless, the second one felt like it had been loved and lived in. I know you will get the one that is meant for you 💜
I loved house two. Here in the US, the landlord is responsible for replacing carpet if not cleanable. Otherwise there’s a garden area and a man cave for James. I know wherever you both end up, you’ll make it wonderful with your energy. . Good luck.
Dear Wendy. 100% resonate with all you said. I rent also. Crazy bonkers times! 2nd house looked good. Loved the wee garden. Wish you all the luck in the world 🙏🧚♀️
Thankyou for taking us with you on your house viewings, the second one is lovely! The garden looks so cosy and private and already planted with pretty plants and that tree!😍 I hope it all goes really well for you!xx
the second house definately! you seemed so much brighter and lighter there.the first one i think you will regret the garden (or lack of) i can totally see you and james in the second home the sunroom would make an amazing studio and james will have a manspace xx
love the 2nd one it has such a better feel than the 1st one and is more secluded and feels a good fit for both of you and a puppy 😉😁hope you get the 2nd one, fingers crossed for you x

I watch your videos on Sunday night as I get ready for bed. They are like a great book that helps me relax and fall asleep. I am sending out positive vibes in the universe to help you on your home journey.. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It seems everyone is on the same page about the 2nd house. I sensed "life" and "growth" abounding! Also, somebody had an idea about a tub outside! (That's the reason for the little private space in the back corner of the yard😊) Love the new pieces going into the shop! Best of luck to you both❤❤❤ Love n' Light n' Peace ✌️
The second house I felt gut wise was more for you. The little garden gave me good feelings 😊. Try not to fret too much it's only a temp home until you find your Eden together 🤗 xx
I love what you said about learning to be “patient” which can give a sense of “calm” and things happen in due time. A lot of the time I feel like my head is in a “hamster wheel”……constantly going, going, going. Work stuff, craft projects, home organization, etc. It just seems like it’s never ending. It’s a breath of fresh air to hear someone, who goes through the same trials, to remind us all to work on being patient and strive towards positivity. 🥰💙🙏
I totally understand your comments about inner conflict. I haven’t experienced such inner conflict as I have recently. I know my path will reveal itself. I was certain my path lead me one way but now I’m not so sure. I’m waiting to see where life takes me and trusting my gut. I hope the house turns out to be all you want. Love and light Wendy
second house is homely and the garden space lovely , where the musician was at beginning i miss going there sitting outside that town i miss my soul place 🙂
Oh Wendy , I so understand the inner conflict. We have had a bumpy 9 mths with losing loved ones and our beloved dog. Plus lots of extra stress with a broken down car and it seems like we can’t catch a break before the next thing breaks over us. This weekend we as a family have switched off . Feeling a little more settled to face work and life tomorrow. And seeing your search for a home makes me realise how lucky we are to have our safe place. I loved the feel of the 2nd house especially the garden. I could imagine a fairy or two dancing there. Really hope this is the one for your next stage of the journey of life. Gentle hugs to everyone ❤ All 3 of us have nasty colds so we have hibernated at home eat , sleep and a few crafts.
The first house with the walled garden is nice. The walled garden has a secret room. The second one has a small kitchen but a pretty little garden . It also has a pretty sun room off the kitchen.
First House I'd say no,it felt cold and no energy. The second house had more energy and a better flow. Small garden but any green is better than none. Completely agree with many regarding carpet deep clean needed. Good luck with house hunt. 💚
that 2nd one was really nice with such a nice garden, I hope you get the one you want, best wishes from Hope, Arkansas! I'll be sending you lots of good vibes!
I see the lure of the yard in the second one and the garage, and yes I have a feeling that’s the one you’re feeling, but I liked the first one. I pictured you doing your magic with the back yard, I really liked the kitchen, the floors throughout, but the chefs kiss for me? that tub! Loved the bathroom❤No matter, you will make it home whichever…love from Massachusetts 🩵🧜🏻♀️💫
2nd house is bonnie, I am blessed to have lived in my wee cottage in the countryside for 23 years needs a lot of work done and the garden is a wildlife reserve 😅which I love, have planted 23 oak trees so will have woodland eventually for future generations.
I am glad you are in touch with what feeling and embracing each part with care. Not familiar with inner conflict? It’s my home turf! Here’s a fun exercise, put 2 chairs out and conduct a dialogue between you and you, moving from one chair to the other. There’s a lot that can be learned and resolved. Re: homes-congratulations on the decision to rent. It keeps the momentum of a new home, while giving you breathing space to find the right home to buy. I liked both that you viewed! In the 2nd one, the garage, sun porch, more space and garden were nice. I liked the clean slate of the first one-having moved to a home where the yard upkeep is beyond me I liked that paved back yard. All the best with your decisions and fingers crossed. ❤ You and James are so sweet and I wish you happiness!
Liked the second house rather than the bland first. To have a lovely little garden is absolutely essential to your well-being, and the garage is a major plus for storage and doing loads of stuff. Hope its a yes❤
That first house is full of possibility. Just an observation - all the windowsills are deeper than what we would typically get in New Zealand, which is good for plants and important since the rooms are all bijoux and plant stands would fill it up. The garden is very urban jungle - lols. In my mind's eye I could construct a beautiful container garden with sitting areas and I would be tempted at the bottom of the garden where the trellis sort of suggests a room of sorts to create a roof of clearlite panels to give yourself a sheltered spot to grow - vines and creepers up the trellis and vegetables and herbs and have a little sitting area with outdoor lights for inspiration - but all of this would take time and money, and if this is an in-between house would you want to spend that effort and cash to give you what you need? Forget what I said - the garden at the second house trumps the first house. I can imagine in the summer putting a blanket on the grass under the tree to read, sketch and watch the clouds go by.
If you get the 2nd home, please have the landlord shampoo the carpets. It is THEIR responsibility. You and James are so nice, I can picture you thinking "It's alright we"ll do it. It's a big expense that should not be yours in this case. ❤

I love how your camera films, it’s not like bumpy. The filming and walking is so smooth it’s like eyes of a flying fairy! 😉 heehee 🧚🏻
gosh thankyou! sometimes I bump and spin too much!! but I do do my best!! xx
PLEASE do more videos of you doing your art. Those are my favorite. They kind of mesmerize me. I feel like I'm meditating when I watch you paint. You can kill two stones that way. You can offer your wisdom and get your art projects done at the same time.
Rarely is a perfectly perfect house found...it’s what you bring to it, heart, spirit, love that makes it so. Susan
v true xx
My favorite house was the second one! So much bigger!
fingers are crossed for it! xx
Hi, the second house needs all new carpet and a new vinyl floor in the kitchen! The bathroom are lovely and the backyard looks great! The garage is a plus, best of luck in your decision ❤
It does, but this is a rental property & it's unlikely to happen. Hopefully the carpets can be cleaned though.
I liked both but the 2nd was really nice. Good luck on whatever decisions y’all make.
thankyou xx
Wishing James and you the very best Wendy. Hope things align for you in the most beautiful way. 🤍✨
awww thankyou so much xx
Fingers crossed you get it, the garden was such a beautiful, tranquil space. I can see you being really happy there ❤ once you make it your own.
thankyou all my fingers are crossed!! xx
I too could see you in the 2nd cottage! I LOVED IT! I predict that the cottage fairies agreed that they found their new humans and soon the cottage shall be yours! ❤🧚♂
Wishing you lots of luck with your application🤞 Hope you both get a more suitable home soon ✨
Your Wendy waffles are more Wendy Wisdoms ❤. So excited for you and James. I've been working on trusting the process. That the universe always provides
Going through one of the roughest periods of my life ever…But I am smiling SO BIG for you. Honestly been difficult to smile at all for months so THANK YOU and BLESS YOU for being here and sharing. And I really love the second place🙏🏼🌹🍃☀️ the garden area is a little treasure. In less than a week. I don’t know where I will be living, but I’m trusting that God has a plan for me and seeing this Gives me hope🕊️SO MUCH Love 💖Light✨and Aloha your way~•🌈
I love watching you ❤ I look forward to each of your uploads. You verbalize so many of my exact feelings, very well. It helps to know I'm not the only one with my thinking process 😁 Above it all, your kind heart and good spirit will always win! ❤ You can't put a price on that!
Blessings on you this week!
thankyou so much xxx lovely to know xxx
You could have a lovely little bistro set in the garden, and take quite a cuttings off that apple tree when you eventually find your forever home.
2nd house transmit so much happiness. ❤❤❤
That sunroom will be so good for your spirits. Getting sun is important!
2nd house! More space. Storage!
You will get through it and if you get the house, it’s meant to be… sending you softest hugs.. love you both !❤❤❤
I like when she chats honestly about her feelings….. nothing is perfect in anyone’s life. Bless
🤞on getting the house... 2nd house has plenty of space your your you both as well as for your wished dog. That conservatory room is got amazing light for your studio and James has also his garage and a studio upstairs for his job... looking forward to see your next video... I send you fairy magical energy💫💫💫💫💫💫
awww much love and fairy energy back to you too xxx
I like James so much. He makes me giggle. 😊
Second house is it! That kitchen is very efficient at the outdoor space? Wonderful.
I'm routing for you! yay!
yes, no time to wait!! xx
Good luck with the house Wendy, 2nd one was right for you and James. The garden would look lovely with your fairy lights in. If it’s meant to be it will happen.
I love the 2nd house and that room with the windows all around screams studio to me. Best wishes for the future!
yes!! home studio!! xx
Oh wow, I haven't even finished the video yet and already I have a big crush on #2!!
Very much prefer the second house. It has much more character and a cosy feel😊
Wish you all the luck in the world 🙏🧚♀️
yes, crazy bonkers!! xxx thanks xxxx big loves to you too xx
I love and look forward to your downloads every week/I watch you/ the cottage fairy/Isabel Paige/Hannah Dugan and The Norther mudlarks/ best fairy wishes for you and James with house finding /xoxoxo!
I'm crossing my fingers and toes you will soon move into house number 2 and the beautiful, slightly secret garden xx
The 2nd house is so much more interesting!!! Lovely light, views and garden🌹
The second one is perfect. I picture your studio in the sunroom next to the backyard. Lovely I think. Good luck!
Wendy if it’s meant to be for you guys no matter what you will get it. Trust the Universe knows what is best for us.
So glad seeing you better again!! May your ways be blessed..lov from South Africa 🇿🇦 🇿🇦
(That's the reason for the little private space in the back corner of the yard😊)
Love the new pieces going into the shop! Best of luck to you both❤❤❤
Love n' Light n' Peace ✌️
yes an outdoor tub!! @AngelaLochCross mentioned too!! xx great idea!
Out with the old in with the new. Life is a journey for us isn’t it. Blessings to you both.
it certainly is xxx blessings to you too x
Oh my those art cards are divine. They would make such a lovely tarot/oracle deck:)
second house is homely and the garden space lovely , where the musician was at beginning i miss going there sitting outside that town i miss my soul place 🙂
Gentle hugs to everyone ❤
All 3 of us have nasty colds so we have hibernated at home eat , sleep and a few crafts.
I'll be sending you lots of good vibes!
thankyou so much xxxx
I see the lure of the yard in the second one and the garage, and yes I have a feeling that’s the one you’re feeling, but I liked the first one. I pictured you doing your magic with the back yard, I really liked the kitchen, the floors throughout, but the chefs kiss for me? that tub! Loved the bathroom❤No matter, you will make it home whichever…love from Massachusetts 🩵🧜🏻♀️💫
Lovely video as always; you have a wonderful way of creating a peaceful moment of time in this chaos! Simply magical! ✨✨✨
aww, thankyou Amber xxx
2nd house is bonnie, I am blessed to have lived in my wee cottage in the countryside for 23 years needs a lot of work done and the garden is a wildlife reserve 😅which I love, have planted 23 oak trees so will have woodland eventually for future generations.
I am glad you are in touch with what feeling and embracing each part with care. I let my guy buy the first house he looked at -it's been horrible for me... but that is my fault since I was unwilling (unable) to look at the properties. Making the best of things, but 7 years in-it has been hard. About the change in the Sun and our Planet's relationship this time of year. It seems to happen in a day, that I notice the feel is different. It can still 106F (41C) and I still feel the switch to Fall suddenly. (Arizona)
Lovely. Plenty of rooms to create in. Good, bright. Cheerful. Uplifting rooms and garden potential.
Sending you lots of prayers for your new home! I am working on moving to the UK and both looked beautiful.
Good luck. Where are you moving from?
@@bieni78 The US... I have spent a great deal of time in the UK and brought project about Charles Dickens over that created jobs there. It's my favorite place in the world.
@@LSChestersMom Fabulous..wishing you all the best xx
Oh thank you! Working on it and hope it will be soon!@@bieni78
the 2nd one.. that's flood marking on the living room carpet, explains the newish laminate in the hallway.
Best of luck to the two of you wherever you are and go 🙌🏼
Good luck with your house hunting! That's my friend Matt busking in the beginning of the video! I haven't seen him in years but he was a close friend of mine when he lived in America. A very talented guitar player.
wonderful!!! he was amazingly talented! xx
❤ You and James are so sweet and I wish you happiness!
thankyou so much xx and will try the two chairs, used to play that in drama class!! xx
Trust your heart and it is never wrong.
