Love the dry sound on this recording. It’s even more tight. Ooooooooft.
Always great to see Negah and Jon again!!
As much as I love Sonny T, it's always good to see Yohannes
Negah is always so low in the mix. Why? The camera shows her ripping it, but even with headphone on I can barely hear her (just a few beats here and there).
Thinking the same. Good to see her. wish I could hear her.
ironically i got this notification for airplane mode right before losing cell signal
Mr. Cory Wong, "Airplane mode" or "Let's go", I don't know what's the title but it's a real pleasure to shout out loud "Let's go" with the crowd answering the guitar during your live performs on tour, what a superb ambiance, and this communion 🤩💓🔥💥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎸🎼🎵🎶!!! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 !!!
Love it! Crispy-clean rhythms...and those horns, y'all!
So cool to see Dan, Chris, and Jon aka Huntertones horns playing with Cory, had the opportunity to to know these dudes in the Columbus scene, stellar guys and players, this is so tight!
That instrumentation in the horn section gives automatic Chicago vibes. Beautiful playing as always ❤
LAMPS ON THE LAST NOTE! 📈
crazy musicianship
Finally, Airplane Mode is back!
rhthm section detailz! love Petar's hi-hat and ride lines...and the lock between bass/guitar is amazing
Great job, guys❤
Luv it!
Really stoked for the show in Austin!
THAT was LEGENDARY!
Real piano sounds great!
Glorious, in an almost calm, understated way 👍👍
Best Wishes, All, for a Great Weekend. ☮
This is so clean.
Sometimes less is more with rhythm, and this was just perfection.
Awesome, bravo 👏
Sick, must've been disappointing to stop after being so locked in together. Dayum!
Seit 1 Woche werde ich den "Ohrwurm" nicht los. ;)
Yuuus!! 😤
Nice Shot
So...if this was at the Sirius studio, what channel did they/will they share you? I've only ever heard you on Watercolors on the Dave Koz Lounge.
Smooth
Is this the raw file title lol. So clean. So incredibly fire.
lol you playing airplane or LETS GO LETS GO!
I love this session 🎵🎸🎹🎺🎷🌹💐🌹👍👏👏👏
luv it
BABA BOOEY
споко Джон, иногда бывает
Question, why are the horns reading sheet music, but everyone else has it memorized? Is it just an aesthetic thing for the horns?
These are the guys that have been playing with him regularly...having said that even they sometimes have ipads to read from.
@@waychunky Was just curious. This isn’t the only band I see do this as well.
The horns have passages of silence, *_and_* are coming in with different riffs. So I wondered if having scores just made it much easier to stay tight, and 'hit it'?
I am not a musician, so this is an idea plucked from my a55.
Best Wishes. ☮
Sax player here, it's because the horns need to be way more detailed in their playing than the other musicians. Yes, they're three people, but their goal is to sound like a single unit. So things like the exact note length, where to place accents within a melody, subtle changes in dynamics, all need to be exact to make them sound like one unit. Those aren't things other musicians don't need to worry about, they just don't need the same amount of precision.
@@robbertzzzzz Beautiful! Thank you for that explanation and it makes perfect sense!
I don't know why but it reminds me Manhatten Transfer.
