This is actually a really sad animation once you get the ending. Hank appears to be remembering the past before all of the madness, and he doesn’t seem to want to accept the future he had created now that he sees how much worse it is when compared to the bright and sunny past, where less people died and everyone was happier. I know this is a fan animation, but I really wanna see some more lore like this added to MC, because damn this is good. Edit: I think I got it, the world has been turned back to normal but hank still remembers the time before all of the madness, as he was the one who mistakenly caused and ended it.
Wait, it was because of Hank!? I assumed it was the Auditor taking over or something. Then again, for a protagonist, Hank isn't exactly innocent, so maybe it's not so surprising after all...

This is actually a really sad animation once you get the ending. Hank appears to be remembering the past before all of the madness, and he doesn’t seem to want to accept the future he had created now that he sees how much worse it is when compared to the bright and sunny past, where less people died and everyone was happier. I know this is a fan animation, but I really wanna see some more lore like this added to MC, because damn this is good.
Edit: I think I got it, the world has been turned back to normal but hank still remembers the time before all of the madness, as he was the one who mistakenly caused and ended it.
Wait, it was because of Hank!? I assumed it was the Auditor taking over or something.
Then again, for a protagonist, Hank isn't exactly innocent, so maybe it's not so surprising after all...
