Nice work. Before I buy any rc I look for a Tomley video. A lot of what you run is difficult to access here in Canada but the entertainment value and general knowledge alone are what keep me coming back for more.
Amazing and incredibly built tough to withstand abuse. Definitely a gem for me and not burning my pocket. Thanks Phil for showing us, cheap does not equal to s**t. 🤣
Picked my 5yr son up the brushed version last year as his first "real" rc. Things are incredibly durable and if you do break something parts are cheap. Absolutely worth every $ for the smiles it gives him.
Yes, me too. I can find no spare parts outside of batteries. Spurs and diffs are listed on Amazon, but "out of stock" either permanently or temporarily.
I love this type of content, honest reviews! I even cringe at most of those bad landings and I am so surprised at how it took it. Been a subscriber for a few years now and I would love to get one of these!
That looked like a lot of fun! It looks like a great inexpensive basher! I'm slowly building a collection of 1/16 and 1/14 scale cars and a trucks to run with my kids and their friends- this one would probably make a good addition! I feel like 1/10 is too large and fragile for the younger kids for now. Thanks for the video!
I don't think I've ever seen an rc fair THAT well through THAT MUCH! I legitimately cringed on some of those impacts (and I watch Kevin Talbot's vids too) 😂 Idk how it survived most of that, but what i do know is I want one!
Bought the Bezgar brushed version of this thing and it’s a blast. Have one as a gift to my godson too and now I don’t have to worry about him breaking it driving into walls. This is the best ad I’ve ever seen for an RC car.
I’m just getting into the hobby. Got an infraction mega waiting on my brushless system to come. I also have a 124019 running about 65mph. Love your work sir. Keep it coming
Phil going Full send 😂😂 had to be done with this car, we didn't break our one, did find the shocks a bit springy, but 800cst seems to have sorted that out, now they just need to make the 3s lipo available to buy. The clipless body sort out the body clip issue 👍👍
I couldn’t believe on the first few full sends that it would take much more but it sure proved me wrong that was awesome!! Love you see these little trucks getting pushed to their limits!!
Pretty cool. I started with an hbx 18859 brushed. I still have that. I then bought the new version that is brushless. Both are tanks and I haven't broken anything. But I have not gone to a skate park and don't plan to lol. I just like street bashing, the odd jump and racing around. Quite capable 4 WD small bashers. Thanks for the video
Damn you put that 3s in it turned it into a little backflip machine if it's surviving all this without breaking an a arm or nothing must be pretty tough💪! I like your videos man they're getting me back into a hobby I was falling out of b/c of💲... need to find affordable cars though that's why Im a big fan of your videos you show the low end and the high end! Keep er up bud!!!🤘
Your videos keep getting better and funnier, so much that I have to watch them twice because I miss a lot from laughing so hard. You are by far one the best creators on UA-cam!
This little thing is a beast. It took a beating and kept on going and asking for more. Definitely a truck worth investing in. I think it would survive the kids. Awesome video keep it up!
Love to see the hand always makes me smile and right now I need a smile all my Rcs are under the weather and have nothing to play with 😩. Hope parts show up sometime soon
Love your videos and the little things U do to make them yours. The noises, the gestures, and snippets, etc… Keep up the great content by doing what U do the way U do it. Thank U also for giving back to the RC community.
I appreciate the reviews on this segment of the hobby. I have my share of high end RC's but I also purchased two you brought to my attention. The W L toys 284131 and the Eachine EAT15. Thanks for those reviews. Cheers from the states!
Lol my mouth was on the floor the whole time in shock! I kept making ugly faces when it would hit the ground or the railings on the ramps. Nicely done, sir 🤣
This rc car is just like a scaled down mini Maxx lol, I have high hopes it lasts this long when I buy it. Your vids are amazing as always, editing is great. Hope you all have a great days my friends.
This is amazing! Unbelievable toughness! My daughters and I are newly Into to rc and have been enjoying this channel so much! One of them has the wltoys 104009 and I need to get my Younger daughter one soon. Love this channel. Its the best!
I know you're not lying to us Phil but it is mind boggling that that is the same vehicle through this entire video, what an absolute kicking you gave that thing just wow, wow!
I'd pay money for it just because it came from you!! ...plus the fact that I'm in the USA, and shipping is probably outrageous. Great video as always!!
Pro tip - The blue/red/white version of this has the clipless body from the previous brushes version which is way better and backwards compatible so you can get more colours (got the pink/white for my daughter)
That's an amazing little car I've bought various ones for my son around this scale and they break so easily . That thing is insanely tough Loved the video Thanks mate 😃
When I was mucking about with Tamiya buggies (Frog & Wild One) as a kid in the '80s I used fuse wire or fishing line to make tethers for the body clips to tie them onto the chassis so I wouldn't lose them as I had no money to buy spares and the only two Model Shops in Norn Iron were in Belfast, and I wasn't. I got the Frog for my 12th Birthday in '84, and the Wild One for Christmas '85. I only had one set of radio gear as my Dad expected me to sell the Frog when I got the Wild One. "Why do you need two Radio Controlled Cars?"
going to get one of those for my son, i have been trying to get him into rc but he is so heavy handed and he has no mechanical sympathy so this looks perfect for him.
Body clips tip is to installed then with the clip loop facing the windscreen and the ones in the back clip loop facing the end of the truck or wheely bar. This is because the truck truck usually flips on its back while doing wheelies or jumps. The friction of the clips with the ground pulls the clips out, if you do this you reduce the body clips loss by 50% or more
I got some car from a buddy that says sandy land on the body and it looks to be the same scale but brushed. I launched it off my garage several times and still shreds!! Even tosses a ramp up there to try and get more distance 🤣 lil thing is wicked cool!!
Just the video i needed to see. My 6 and 4 year old handle the fastest you can get from walmart target etc, this should be a good next step for them. Now to figure out what rc ill get for myself. Great Video.
as soon as i seen the skatepark, i was like there goes the fan. you can glue it back together . i got the H16p brushed, tore it up bad at the skate park. HBX is tougher , but both are really good for the price
Guess I might just have to pick up one of these 1/16 mjx as well, I love the 1/14 truck, just wish I could find the old body that looked like a mini outcast..
That 3S Basher is awesome! My Wltoys 144001 is only 2S and rips! I can't imagine driving a 3s with more clearance and off-road capabilities! Awesome video as always LOVE this channel!
Those new budget rc basher rigs are super tough!! I have a bezgar 6 which i have beaten the living daylights out of for a whole year now and the only real damage i had was a chewed up spur gear
That’s taking some abuse! Love the little thing! Might have to get the youngest one of those, was looking at the ftx tracer for his birthday next month
Nice work. Before I buy any rc I look for a Tomley video. A lot of what you run is difficult to access here in Canada but the entertainment value and general knowledge alone are what keep me coming back for more.
He also does the best durability test next to Talbot, only tomley gets any Rc you can think of

Where can you find parts, I'm looking at one for my 5 year old
Yes, me too. I can find no spare parts outside of batteries. Spurs and diffs are listed on Amazon, but "out of stock" either permanently or temporarily.
Have a look at serious RC. They're official hbx and mjx UK suppliers I think
@@AAron2020xydfgYou buy another use the broken one for spares.
Not had an rc since I was a kid, but I love watching your videos on a night time with the kids, never get boring keep up the good work mate 🙂
Thanks Simon. Really appreciate the support

same, besides maybe the rival mt10
Yep I got the brushed version if it the same it won't break easy
And the arrma 3s range.
That's why I love these little guys. Even when they do break, it's so cheap and easy to get back up going.

Fantastic car and fantastic video well done again
Thanks dude

Could you point me to a clipless body for this, the clips do my head in and keep falling off. Thanks
Man I really like those shots with the misty sun in the background on the 2nd day of beating.
Yeah, actually came out well. It was pretty bright. Dull cloudy days always look bad on camera
Wow that little guy is tough. Wow you sent that thing. Looked like a good time. Thanks for sharing

One arrived today for my son. The box was so beat up. Unpacked it and everything was mint. Took it for a quick spin and thoroughly impressed.

I'm just at 6 minutes and it's taken more abuse than any , ANY r.c. I have ever seen. Pretty Awesome.
That’s such a great little truck! Well done!
That's great! My little hbx I've only managed to dislodge the esc, great little trucks
The editing and music remind me of late 90's skate vids... awesome dude!
Haha… cheers dude
Really an awesome little car, I bought the brushed version because of the review you had done on it! Love these little trucks
Whoot whoot Tomley!!
Hardcore bash Phil! 🤘
That car is the nuts mate. I've paid more for RCs that have taken less than a beating. Really impressed. Absolutely brilliant for newbies or kids too.
Yeah, it took loads of abuse! Considering the actual run time was close to an hr total. Condensed down to 10mins ish

Very generous of you mate, me and my daughter would love this to have a bash with 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 good luck all
That thing looks awesome. I'm yet to own a basher. This looks like a great place to start. Thanks!
I can see in the front office where they make this thing. People high fives, fist bumps basically taking the victory lap.
We passed the Tomley Test!!

That's one tough little rig. The buggy looks pretty cool. Will have to find your video on it.
Now you know I watched the video to the end, and no problem, you can send me the smashed up one, you made it famous! 👏👏👏
You, kind Sir, are just such a fun watch, but still paired with useful information! In my book the best RC channel out there at the moment.

Thank you
no thank you :)

It's surprising how tough these little cars are, you wouldn't expect them to be like 10x better than something like an 8th scale!
Low weight and good tough materials, that’s the key
Great video )hil! looks like you had a blast. love early morning mist/fog.
Phil 😀
Yeah, came out well on the footage 👌
A different video Tomley, nice work!
Sometimes a change can do good things 👍🏻.
See you on the next one.

So I noticed in the background of the shop there's some work goin on. Looks like the shop is gittin a bit of an upgrade.
Yes, a bit of work being done. Should be finished this weekend 👌
hey tomley wich one is better and more durable the MJX 16209 or the HBX 16889a
Ive wanted to buy one ever since i saw it release. I think this video have confirmed that it needs to be in the R/C collection👍🏻
Fall is almost here. Would like to see you finish the coffee truck build. It's going to be awsome. Thanks tomley.

What a kicking for a little RC car
HI PHIL GREAT FUN VIDEO OF A AFFORDABLE STRONG TRUCK. THANKS SIR 🇬🇧👍🏼
I have stripped the rear diff on the Hbx pro as well as a few bent driveshafts. Took a lot of brutal bashes to break the little thing.
That took a real beating and did much better than I thought it would 👍🏻
Oh... That little truck can turtle mode! 😮
Fantastic bashing, Phil!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Push the body clips on ALL the way, I know it's a pain to get them off, but they'll stay on much better. Regardless, awesome vid! 👍
