Love how this campaign is going! I do suggest that u switch the crown prince with one of your frontline general so he is not wasting his time doing watch towers but can earn his stripes either defending one of the cities that is constantly being attacked or he can continue conquering
I don't really think pressing attack with your pikes is a good idea. Just look at them, when you attack with them, they are actually not just going forward and attacking, they are loosing the line walking into the enemy line, where they csn be surrounded and killed. While you keep the line, they are not getting flanked, the enemy is not getting to them, they are rarely dying. Even if the are not in a defensive formation, they themselves keel the line for quite some time, but when you press attack, they just loose it. Part of the unit always stay in the back doing nothing, but the frontline moves forward and gets surrounded.
