Hey hi Jason this was a great presenration. Its like stepping back into history snd the architecture witha all its deyltailing is incredible. Thanks again and Happy New Year to you and family. Cheers
Great job. Thanks a lot for filming the city Khiva, which is also known as the museum under the open sky. Millions of people from across the globe visit this ancient city every year. We'll be too delighted to see you back again down the road. All the best!
Excellent series on those spectacular historical cities of Central Asia, part of the amazing Silk Road history which I have always wanted to see but now quite happy to enjoy doing it vicariously through your wonderful travels. Once again, if I haven't said it before you are the Ibn Battuta and Marco Polo of the 21st century.
Brilliant series. Uzbekistan is a fabulous country to visit, remarkably inexpensive, the people are so welcoming and the sights spectacular, you have reflected all this in your videos. Brought back great memories. Thanks
Amazing, Jason! I will be going to 4 of the Stans with G Adventures this summer, and your videos of Uzbekistan are fantastic and I will watch them several more times before going. My guess is that you stopped in the country of Georgia.
Hi Jason ☺Seeing the stunning country of Uzbekistan through your eyes was thrilling. I really appreciate how you describe the historical sites in every nation you travel to. Let me guess where you are going next: Iran?
There's one more story about Kalta Minor (but not sure whether it's correct or not) : Khan of Khiva orders to kill architect after finishing Minaret ( to ensures he will not be able to build such Minaret for Bukhara emirate and Kokand khanate). However, architect finds out truth about his future fate and flees from Khiva before finishing Kalta Minor. Thanks for videos 📷. Hope you enjoyed your time here in Uzbekistan
Did you try Khorezmian national dishes like Shivit Oshi , Khorezmian Hamburger and Tuhum barak ??? Did you attend Terrace restaurant in Khiva? It was worth attending)) I hope you liked Khiva 😅

Very interesting Jason, thank you. I could do with one of those warm hats in the UK right now - it's freezing here ! 🥶

I've heard stories of workers being killed after building secret passages in palaces in Europe so they could not give away the way in...
Indeed, Khiva is the best well-preserved city, with splendid architecture.
Awesome, looking forward to that new country. Somewhere in the caucasus?
GreatVlog, thank you Jason. Would you recommend going in low season? It looks like you get plenty of space, which would be a bonus compared to crowds.
Low season is good to go, but it can get very cold. You maybe the only tourist but the locals are very keen to practice their English.
@ thank you, I’ll take a scarf and enjoy the space!

Nice. Jason can you suggest me a safer and remote land locked country. I want to escape from people for 10-15 days.
uzbekistan is perfect
Uzbekistan is perfectly safe and not swarming with visitors. I went in June last year. It's a lovely, fascinating country.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Do you want to make another video in Uzbekistan or is it last one?
