    The tiny saw hitting his nail when he was cutting through the links was killing me :D But at least it was his nail and not his skin!

      Same and then the shot where he was making the O rings and the split in his nail was splintering D:

    you should do the before and after look at the end of the video. It will look even cooler as it gives a reminder of how the jewellery was before the fixing/changing.

    The preferred the original design of the bracelet. It was so beautiful. This is not a comment on your craftsmanship however, it's excellent

      I also agree, the previous bracelet was very interesting.

    • @helenhill9482
      @helenhill9482 3 роки тому +32

      I also preferred the original. Also, the customer now has far fewer diamonds and less gold than she had before! I find some of the workmanship to be sloppy too. The solder joints on the jump rings (what he calls O rings) were not tight joints as they should be. He was filling gaps left by using cutters that were not flush cutters - frowned upon in the world of goldsmithing.

      I agree the original design had more .. I can’t explain what I mean exactly but the closest word was “work” it had more work . I know that sounds lame

    I find it fascinating how often 3D printing is used as part of a manufacturing process, as opposed to just directly manufacturing items via 3D printing. It's such a useful and versatile technology.

      I was just thinking how pretty it would be if made thinner/more dainty and turn it from a bracelet into a necklace. Same look just less bulk that would allow it to be longer and maybe also more of the diamonds to be used as well. Possibly wonder if the new setting he made could be used doubled sided to hold a diamond on each side? That would be really pretty as well and a way to use all the diamonds and have the new design sparkle from every angle when in movement.
      Just a few thoughts I had for my own old tennis bracelet as I love this as well but I also don't wear bracelets nearly as much as I do necklaces. Keep me updated if you happen do redesign yours!
