Mick Mars...I’ve said a 1000 times, the most underrated and under appreciated guitarist in rock PERIOD. He absolutely makes his Fender Stratocaster scream in the Crüe classic. Pandemic be damned, the Crüe will be back!
Dr. Feelgood was Mick Mars best song. And Tommys best performance on the drums. That is about the only Motley Crue song I really like. The drums and lead guitar on that song were off the charts. Top five song of the 1980's. So much bubble gum crap you were either to stoned or drunk to notice it. Or both. 😁
So sad these guys arent touring anymore. Loved the Crue since I was in 5th-6th grade. In October 1984 I picked up a friends guitar and taught myself the first song I every played, Too Fast for Love. I just sat there for an hour or two trying to take the song in my mind and bring to my fingers. My friend was stunned. He hadnt learned that much on it yet but he swore it sounded awesome and just like the song. Honestly I was surprised myself. It just came out of me. The crue instantly became one of my favorite bands. Having been born disabled, I spent a majority of my childhood in hospitals, Motley got me through it. I was allowed the have my guitar and a small amp in my hospital room. Then I heard about Micks condition and I started paying more attention to him. I started to notice kinda early on the disease starting to affect him. But he still got up and played like a God, which later inspired me to do my own thing. Although I never became famous I definetly played my share of live concerts. All the years I sat in the hospital trying to not be terrified, Mick and the rest of the band, got me through it. ( Im trying to hold back tears) They just got me through and put an energy and fight in me that I cant describe. I wish I could I could meet them all and thank them from the bottom of my heart. They very well (in a small way) helped save my life.A very big part of the soundtrack to my life.
Please,he's no EVH,Michael Schenker or George Lynch,ok! He 's million miles from that and he's just perfect for this suck ass glam rock thing...Mais oui,ouh là là!
Aww man, was there at the last vegas show, but this being the last show brings tears to my eyes. CrueHead from the beginning, my son born in 85 I named Vince. Lots of stores through the years, but blessed to have met Vince a few times, pics I cherish and being on his VNI website was an honor. Greatest singer and band ever!
I saw them twice, they were amazing, music was perfect, sound perfect. Watching Tommy play drums upside down was wild, no one had ever done that. Vince ran around the stage climbing speaker stacks pointing, singing to every person in the joint with endless energy. I'll never forget a minute of it. I saw a lot of bands and quite a few were disappointing but not the Crue, absolutely amazing.
MISS THE OLD CREW!! 1981-1999 when VINCE REALLY BROUGHT IT!!!!!!!!! TOMMY ALWAYS BEAT THE PISS OUTTA DRUMS, MICK ALWAYS SHREDDED AND SIXX RIPPING THE BASS
If everyone agrees and always says that Mick is the most underrated and underappreciated rock guitarist of all time, then is he really underrated or underappreciated?
@2v_5r I said I didn’t think they would come back. But that we would see. So I don’t know what your point is. I didn’t say conclusively that I knew 100% for sure that they weren’t coming back.
