Wow, happy I saw this video. I've watched a ton of videos and I don't recall anyone mentioning the finished garment size as it relates to which size pattern to purchase. Thanks so much.

Its great to see all that information on the envelope instead of just on the pattern tissue, or even missing altogether. I was also pleased to see that the size charts inform that the' misses' garment is designed for a B cup and the women's sizes are designed for a C cup. What I don't understand about the women's sizing is there is only 1 inch difference between the high bust and the full bust. Doesn't that play out to be an A cup? I understand a C cup has 1 inch more volume than a B cup, but for actual body measurements shouldn't the difference be 3 " between high bust and full bust?

If my grandma bust measurement makes her a 20w, hips a 22w and waist a 24w, do I make the dress as a 24w or can I mix and match the pieces for bust, waist, and skirt part of the dress. This particular pattern has those three parts all in separate pieces but I dont know if I can mix and match, worried that when it is time to join the pieces they wont match up. Anybody know?

I am confused about the pattern size. I am not sure if they already added the relaxations or eases to each part in the size. For example, my daughter’s waist is exactly 28”, breast is 33” , and hip is 38 “. Do I need to think about the relaxations or eases when I choose the pattern size for her? Thanks.

Personally, I don’t like my garments to be constricting. I am very uncomfortable in closely fitted shirts. In your opinion, what is a comfortable finished garment bust measurement, 2”, 4” ease around the bust?
