He's 59 years old with severe myopia, keratoconus, strabismus and amblyopia. His eye disease doesn't stop him to become a great photographer. I wish you all the best Mr. Jan.
-108 ?!??! I've been doing lenses for like 10 years and haven't done beyond a -15.00 . This is crazy. I wonder what his acuity is after the glasses. It can't be better than like 100/20
@@raphael_ko never heard of 1/20 or 1/10. Unless they are using a different measuring system than the Snellen. A lot of baseball players have eye surgery or Lasik to increase their vision to 20/15. But 20/5 vision is the best recorded vision possible for humans to have. It is the vision equated to the sight of eagles and the only creature with better vision is a hawk, which has 20/2 vision. While having 20/5 vision is possible, it is probably highly uncommon. But either way 1/20 isn't possible, that would mean that the person sees at 1 foot what the average human sees at 20 feet. If that was reversed to 20/1 that would mean that the person sees at 20 feet what average people see at 1 foot, which has never been recorded.

Slovakia uses the metric system, so 6/6 is the same as 20/20. 6 is the numerator when the letter chart is placed at 6 metres, which is the standard, whereas 1 is used as the numerator when the letter chart is held at 1 metre from the patient, which may be needed in low vision cases.
It is sick that people can reach such high ametropia. I told my teachers about this video and they just didn´t want to belive until i showed it to them. They were amazed how this can be and so on :D Videos like this make me love my job even more :) Great job from the optician and Essilor.
Well, it's nothing compared to this man's magnitude of myopia and actually very common. Lots of nearsighted people have prescriptions of -5. Even -10 is not uncommon.
Wow, I didn't know nearsighted glasses prescriptions can go that high! I've always assumed they only went to like -40. Good on Jan Miskovic for being able to see again and feeling happy :)
And apparently, this guy's eyesight is way worse than yours! But it's great to see him looking so happy. He is proof that even if your prescription is -100 or beyond you can still live a happy life being able to see.
I have a crizal, it's got scratches, and company has not responded in warranty period, third class product, big big cheater, plz don't buy, if u wanna buy best brand go to other

My fellow myopics i will no longer complain about my -7.75 lenses and just buy my 1.74 index lenses.

As long I knew all the lenses wasn't anti scratch,but scratch resistant,it's mean scratches it's exclude for the warranty
Try not scratching your lenses next time.
