PAINT COLORS: Oil paints
Titanium white, Floral pink, Alizarin crimson, Ultramarine blue, and Sap green
OTHER MATERIALS:
Canvas:12x16 works best, 1” background brush, 1/2” floral brush, Floral filbert brush, white liquid medium, clear oil medium and odorless thinner.

Would love to see it done in acrylics
You’re welcome MultiRusty. 😊 I did do this in acrylic, but I have to tell you it does turn out much better with oils. At least for me. I don't really do much acrylic painting. Hope this will give you some ideas.

Thank you for the nice complimen Jifke. The brand of brushes I use are Bob Ross Floral brushes. There are other good brands out there, and even acrylic flat brushes (which are less expensive) work for me.
Love your videos. What kind of acrylic paints and oil do you use? Oil or medium? Thank you.
Thank you Rhnea, when I use acrylic paint it is Liquitex Heavy Body. This painting however was done with oil paint. The oil medium is Bob Ross Oil Paint Medium. I believe you can get it on Amazon, big box craft stores, or from Bob Ross company.

I watched your video tips for acrylic 5 tips. How do you mix the two mediums in that video. And the big blending background brush what is it? Thank you.
@@RhneaBizjak Can you tell me which video are you referring to Rhnea? I am not using any acrylic in the pink flour video. The big brush I am using is the Bob Ross 2" landscape brush.

Yes, of course you can Marlene. I have found it much harder to do flowers with acrylics, but it is possible. Acrylics just do not seem to have that great blending ability that oils do. I rarely paint with acrylics, but I will have a video coming out later on doing this flower in acrylics, so you can watch for that. Thank you for your question.

Is the green done in acrylics
No Melanie, all of the flower painting is done in oils. It can be done in acrylics but it's a little harder to blend the colors. 🌺
