I finished the breakthrough challenge too recently and what I liked about it is that the trainers don't go soft on you and really get you to push yourself to your limit! I remember one workout where they straight up did 3 sets of back to back jump squats, air squats, squat pulses and split lunges lol! I agree with your suggestion about a personal trainer type of thing because I liked how during the programs, you would sometimes get a notification about your progress thus far.
That breakthrough challenge definitely pushed me for sure! I remember that squat circuit 😭 lol hopefully they’ll keep improving on top of what they have so far 💪🏾
I have been using the app for many years even when I was at the gym. It gave me a lot of options on workouts. They have yoga and pilates on there too. So it's for everyone. Not just for fitness.

I am SO happy I came across your video! I love NTC app and have been using it for awhile but I’ve been feeling that the training program are not being updated which makes it quite boring overtime… and then I watched your video and saw a completely different look of the app 🤯 I am in Canada and apparently Nike doesn’t care to extend the US programs for their friends in the North, so when I switched the region to the US my app took a whole new look and I am now able to see all the new programs including the Breakthrough Challenge and the health tips! 🤩 Thank you 🙏🏼 Still on 1:43, gonna watch the rest now to learn more about your experience with it.
I loved the NTC, but my only frustration (and it is huge, during the workouts) is that with the movements you are doing, sometimes it isn’t always picked up on the Apple Watch.

What I liked the most is that you can put a lot of info like your height, if your already fit or not and even what equipments you have in the house and the app will adjust the training for your needs. I don’t have any equipments and even so the app configured a nice training for me.

I believe no junk no fast food and lots of water because a vegan diet will help lose weight but your gonna be so much more hungry what leads you to eating at night or eating to much
Thanks for the video. I just downloaded this app and although there is much to like about it the biggest glaring omission, IMHO, is the lack of direction. While I can certainly find exercises I like, I am not a trainer and have little experience to know how much I should be doing, which exercises on what days, exercises to target fat loss, etc. Is there a NTC guide that can create a program based on desired outcomes over a specified time period?

I’d say build a solid foundation first. First, determine a goal that you want to achieve (gain muscle, lose fate, become more athletic, etc) then second find activity that can help you reach that goal, but you could still enjoy and can stick with. (Weights, running, cycling, playing a sport, etc). Once you do that for at least 1 month consistently, reevaluate based on what worked and what didn’t and also what you enjoyed. That’s what really matters

I think a proper balance of both should be fine! I use peloton, the gym and apple fitness plus in conjunction all the time to split between cardio, weight lifting and core work

Wow that would be frustrating! Where did you experience that? during the whiteboard workouts or the trainer led ones??
It was the trainer whiteboard workouts....so if it doesn’t measure your movements, then it never goes on to the next exercise.

Yep, they had different workouts each week, where they got progressively more challenging each week!
