Hey Mary, thx for the receipt! This question is not related to that:I’d like to be in the business or finance industry in the future, but my school doesn’t have a business department, and it’s in a rural place, I got an offer to an art school in New York, school is decent but it’s still not about business. Seems like my option is limited, what should I do?
Hello! So obviously I don't have as much context about your life as you do but I would consider: do any of these schools have majors adjacent to business? i.e. economics, accounting, you can do computer science and get into business/finance. If so you can compare the strengths of those majors at the two schools to decide which one you'd rather go to. If neither have a relevant program, it may be better to be in a big city where there'll be more internship opportunities to prove your interest outside of school. This of course doesn't take into account a whole host of factors that might sway your decision including cost, extracurriculars, culture, etc.
Thank you. I've been thinking about it and how to reply. I decide to go to New York. I believe the culture and Arts there would be a nice scene. My Chinese name actually can be simplified as GX. what a coincidence!
Yum!
