Recent grad, I sold a startup, I failed another one, I worked as VC, and as Swe. Currently technical product manager at an AI startup. I think that for work/life balance the best is swe, pm it's a great pre-founder course, VC very boring but you get network, founder incredible hard little pay or 0 sometimes a lot of stress anxiety and rejections but it's the most fulfilling one. Now I'm 24 but I think that the best moments in university were when I was founder, you feel like in a movie or a dream a lot of stuff is surreal

I’m an international student who will do my mandatory service after completing my freshman year at state school known for business (I’m a finance major) I’ll take two years off to serve in my home country, but I’ll serve at US military base with US army. I can only apply to schools where offer need blind policy for international students like me (like harvard, yale, princeton, brown, or dartmouth) because my mom is fighting cancer and our family’s had financial struggles. Would they still prefer this kind of non traditional background even tho I’m technically not a US veteran? (I heard princeton especially prefers veterans)

This is me, i’m a third year wanting to transfer from ucsd to NYU. And it feels like the world has crumbled down on me more times than I am proud to admit. it feels so challenging and stressful. i’ve been wanting transfer since my first year which is a while ago. but i surpressed it for so long, thinking that i should always give my current school and circumstance multiple chances. however, after, I was getting all straight A’s in my first year. unfortunately, now I have failed 8 of my most subject classes in 2 semesters in a row, I know somethings of disconnect here, and I always know i’m better than this. I don’t feel like myself at all. And it’s 99.9% not because of the school. it’s just me. I don’t think it’s the right fit for me. the first rejection letter i had from nyu in 2022, scared me…I felt alone, uncertain , and honestly my failure in academics have brought me to years of severe depression and su1c1d4l attempts, although this is dark. but where i am in life got me pulling my hair out. can you help me in a more (depth way) in my process? I genuinely need a mentor and real guidance, whom i can contact and feel okay sharing personal things with. Let me know if you are willing to help and converse in depth about this in between (i assume immensely busy time)… i loved your content for years, but I have trouble in applying and implementing all your knowledge to execution, determining my future. Hi! Thanks so, so much for this video!! My situation is similar, as I didn't apply anywhere else because I got into JHU early. JHU is great, but I was always upset I didn't go for my dream, Yale. My friend who had the same SAT scores and very similar extracurriculars got into Yale, which just further persuaded me that I should have aimed higher just as you said. How did you communicate this in your "Why Transfer" essay?

I have been a scout closing successfully one deal, lead an international accelerator across 14 countries, and still find it hard to break into VC 😅🙄

Worst advice I've ever heard. 26 year olds should not worry about freezing eggs. Quantity rapidly decreases after birth. You have the most in utero. If a female fetus typically has around 6-7 million eggs at 20 weeks of gestation, dropping to 1-2 million at birth, you think what you're saying would make any sense? No. No it does not. Also everyone is different. Weirdo
