Love these quick tutorials instead of long boring lecturer 😙
exactly Bro
LOL! Humans are said to be "tall", not "long". Unless you meant "long and boring" to be an innuendo? :)

Even when I think I know what you are going to talk about, I still learn something new. You are definitely best Photoshop instructor out there. Thanks for being awesome!
You, sir, have just saved my artwork after I messed it up by accidentally overwriting it to half of it's original resolution. Now, I have an even larger artwork that looks absolutely perfect, even better than how it was before! Many thanks to you ♡

So now "zoom and enhance" could be real :)
Yes! I'm looking forward to this.
Finally I can now enhance the license plate of a car reflected on somebody's eyes from my cctv footage
Jason Bourse really has nowhere to hide now.
With only one problem: This interpolates pixels that are already there, blurs them and sharpens them along the edges. It's like a fancy diffuse blur, but you won't be able to restore lost information or create it, where it was never present.
@@Nicistarful not really, the idea is use AI to generate pixels that dont exist. Since AI is improving fast, we might able to get much better result next year.
This is so useful for older photos that I need in a larger size!
Watching after 6 years! Still useful!!
Super helpful! Thanks for getting straight to the point. Appreciate the quick tutorial.

My goodness! That is truly amazing -- as if PS has AI now. Thank you so much!
Just tried it. Converted my old comic books from 96 Dpi to 300 Dpi. Your tips worked perfectly. Thanks, buddy. Rock on.
Great tip. tks so much. For me the Technology 2.0 option was enabled by default after the update. Is everyone getting that too?
Amazing, and thank you for not padding it out! Your tutorials are amazing!!!
Good man!!! You have the best tutorials! Some other youtubers would make a 10-15min video, when you explane everything right to the point in 2.44min! Keep up the good work!

WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT???
Yes
OR, if you dont have the correct version of PS you can download "A sharper scaling" free tool , this is even better.
Will not be available for Mac users, so I think PS will do the trick, but thanks for the tip.
Thanks so much, man!! You just saved me another week back and forth messaging with my client.
Excellent. I wouldn't ever know about that detail if it wasn't by this video. Tyvm.
Try Gigapixel AI - that's a completely different dimension. The software itself recognizes and completes very fine details: hair, beard, skin, texture, leaves - flawlessly. Perfectly cleans even highly compressed JPG files. The best results are from small pictures, when he has to reconstruct the original picture himself. Everything is done automatically, there's no need to adjust - the results are incredible. This is how artificial intelligence looks like!
Is it better than waifu2x?
@@zekion. Waifu2x is suitable for enlarging cartoon images. Gigapixel has much more natural results in photographs. Competitive programs clean and interpolate the image. In addition, Gigapixel creates details that are not visible in the reduced image. In some cases, it is better if you reduce the image to 50% in Photoshop and then enlarge it to 400% in Gigapixel. Image has more details. It doesn't make sense, but it works! Try to download the trial version and see for yourself.
Old news, CSI has been using this for YEARS :)
Haha...infinite zoom and sharpening

omg this is amazing, I could higher the resolution of a badly taken photo to 4 times and still looks perfect

Brilliant! Thanks. Simple, easy, concise. Thank you.
Try "Topaz Gigapixel AI"
You will be amazed
I was going to say that )) and yes. Works flawlessly
In my testing I found that it works excellently when upscaling high resolution images, but struggles when upscaling a low res image. I found preserve details 2.0 worked better in both instances
The downside it that it REALLY struggles with faces.
Joel Smith I agree, I tend to upscale images with faces on them. I noticed that it adds a very noticeable smearing effect, which doesn’t occur with preserve details 2.0
@@aviraj270 Right. For higher resolution sources, faces tend to get a smeared/plastic look, while low resolution gives some genuinely creepy results. Things you might find in a horror movie where foliage and structures are upscaled with amazing quality while each person looks like a lost soul cursed by ancient spirit.

pfffttt child play, in CSI they can convert 1 x 1 pixel to a full blown 10000 x 10000 pixel in full detail, while getting the picture of the murderer regardless they where there at the time or not
and we all know TV show don't lie
I prefer Gigapixel (Topaz) i think the result is better. But nice tutorial
You're perfectly well with your tutorial. Love it
That's awesome man, thanks!
isnt this anti-aliasing ? I think it is some kind of upgrated technology based on anti-aliasing.

You haven't made the image hi-resolution, you've just blurred the pixels. An image that is not already hi-resolution cannot be made hi-res. If you want a high-resolution photo, it has to be photographed that way to begin with. You can't add pixels to a photographed image, you can only manipulate the pixels that are already there. It's not hi-res when you zoom in on it, it's just blurry now instead of pixelated. This NOT converting low to high, because that cannot be done with a photo.
he said he was FAKING the high resolution with photo shop, not making it a high resolution photo. At :06 he says we can fake it using photoshop.
This tool is just advanced "smooth" + "sharpen tool", calm your horses
