I’ve only seen 17 movies from this year so far: 10 Hate To Love: Nickelback 9 Bob Marley: One Love 8 Dune Part 2 7 Ghostbusters Frozen Empire 6 Road House (Amazon Prime) 5 Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin (Apple+) 4 Upgraded (Amazon Prime) 3 Damsel (Netflix) 2 Orion and The Dark (Netflix) 1 Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate (Peacock)
I love how almost every person who’s reviewed Unfrosted have prefaced their review with, “I love Jerry Seinfeld, I loved Seinfeld more than Friends, he’s hilarious.” Then they all say that it was 90 minutes of a joke that was only funny to Jerry Seinfeld.
Drive Away Dolls is not only the worst movie of the year, but an early contender for worst movie of the decade. Here is my reasoning: - it is marketed as a comedy, yet I didn’t laugh once. - Margaret Qualley’s character is the most annoying movie character in recent memory. Her accent will haunt my nightmares forever more. - the rest of the characters actively annoyed me - the movie had a 85 minute runtime that somehow felt like 85 years. - random psychedelic imagery placed throughout the movie which has a really unfunny payoff. - it had the most deceptive trailer in recent memory; you were sold on Pedro Pascal being in the film (he is killed in the first scene), you were sold on it having an interesting premise (it doesn’t), and you were sold on it being funny (it isn’t). I have to assume that you didn’t see Drive Away Dolls if it wasn’t on your bottom 10 for the year. The worst part is that there are actually people that like the movie and defend it. It’s atrocious. I’ll watch Tarot, Night Swim, and Madame Web on repeat before I watch Drive Away Dolls again.
10. Winnie the Pooh blood and honey 2 09. Argyle 08. Ricky Stanicky 07. Rebel Moon part 2 the Scavenger 06. Lift 05. Atlas 04. Mea Culpa 03. Megamind 2 Doom Syndicate 02. American Society of Magical N words 01. Madame Web
I haven't seen a couple on your list, but I have seen a decent amount this year. These are my current, bottom 10 films of 2024. Miller's Girl 3. Argylle 2. Godzilla × Kong: The New Empire 1. Madame Web
Argylle is my least favorite movie of the year and it's not close. It's not just that it tries so desperately to be cool and clever, it's almost 2 hours and 20 minutes long.
Humongous disappointment. Movie had so much talent in front of and behind the camera. I guarantee that people will still be talking about Madame Webb in ten years and Argyle will be forgotten. It’s almost better to be remembered as really bad than barely remembered.
My Top 10 Worst Movies of the Year (so far) 1-Rebel Moon: part 2: The Scargiver 2-Madame Web 3-Atlas 4-Imaginary 5-The Exorcism 6-Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate 7-Horizon: An American Saga 8-Mae Culpa 9-Miller's Girl 10-Argyille
Points for using the "You're so stupid" clip from UHF. They filmed UHF in my hometown and I was an extra in several scenes, including the Wheel of Fish sequence you featured. I've only seen Madame Web from your list so thank you for saving my time on the rest!
My bottom 10 as of now is mostly filled with mediocre movies with the exception of the bottom 2 which are just bad. 35. Madame Webb 34. Mean Girls 33. Ricky Stanicky 32. Self Reliance 31. If 30. Argylle 29. Ghostbusters 28. The Watchers 27. Immaculate 26. Spaceman
I have to disagree with the whole world on Madame Web, it’s actually currently my favorite film of the year. I thought it jelled perfectly with the Tobey Maguire Spiderverse, it felt 2000s and that’s when those films came out. The villain’s voiceover was noticeable, but it wasn’t made to be like current MCU spectacles, which are kinda overplayed at this point (let’s move on from the Avengers and focus on the X-men for the next decade bc there’s so many of them.) It was a nice Break from the MCU formula. And I’m glad there weren’t much spiderwomen action bc it’s not titled Spiderwomen. With a new character to film like Madame Web, unfortunately an origin story is required. I could totally see these three spiderwomen partnering up with the three Spider-Men and taking on the sinister six (Sony’s version) for basically Sony’s version of Endgame.
Sean and Cody have quickly become my two favourite film reviews on UA-cam. Sean has a very easy-going style and tends to cut most films a break or at least go easy on them even when he doesn't like them. Cody has a rougher approach and happily roasts craps when he sees it. I always watch both of their reviews of a film I am interested in as I know it will be a considered, honest and fan-orientated review. Thanks Sean!
I've haven't watched too much bad this year. I disliked Rickey Stanicky, Unfrosted and Madame Web quite a bit. Lift and Damsel would round out my bottom 5, but I didn't mind those two as much
The zack snyder trope of making a shitty movie that nobody likes and then saying "but wait, the r rated version is the real version" is truly sad and ridiculous
I find it extremely aggravating that recently Snyder just uses excuses of “it’s not r rated” or “it’s not the directors cut” to justify his terrible movies of recent. Like it worked for justice league but anything would’ve been better than what we got from the original one
The new Mean Girls wasn't quite the same as the 2004 version. Of course, the original is still much better and the basics of the story are still the same, but as a huge fan of the original, I think they managed to change a few things so that it didn't feel like a rip-off.
The only movie on this list that I saw was Madame Web and I'm grateful I didn't see the rest! For what it's worth, I did see one movie that was worse than MW: Night Swim. And after watching that, I made sure to listen to reviews for Imaginary and a few other Horror movies before taking a chance on them.
I've only seen four movies that I think are outright bad. 4. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2(I really don't like this dumbass franchise. This is at least kind of fun on the rarest of occasions and it's marginally better than the first one, but I don't like it) 3. The Garfield Movie(It's aggressively boring and lame and doesn't feel like Garfield) 2. Unfrosted(I hope Jerry Seinfeld had fun with his friends. I didn't have fun with this) 1. Madame Web(Duh)
As of today, my bottom 10 on my 2024 ranking are: 10. Argylle 5.5/10, I originally liked it, not too much now tho 9. The Beekeeper 5.5/10, I can see why this worked for everyone else, it was generic for me 8. Good Grief 5.5/10, I’m not gonna lie I didn’t get it 7. Damsel 5/10, just meh 6. Lift 3.5/10, what even was this? Really? 5. Rebel Moon Part 2 3.5/10, I keep being unable to connect with Snyder 4. Atlas 3/10 3. Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp 3/10 2. Madame Web 3/10 1. Megamind Vs. The Doom Syndicate 0/10, this was pain and suffering Dishonorable mentions: Maboroshi, Spaceman, Orion and The Dark, The Casagrandes Movie, Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 2
I somewhat feel the same regarding Argylle. I’m not as low on the movie as you. But while I had a good time with it, I don’t have any desire to go back to it. For how much style it had, it still felt generic. And yes Megamind 2 should’ve been in the Pain & Suffering 31 on 31 list. lol
@@sergioliden5652 agreed. On rewatch was when it was worse for me. Maybe if I hadn’t watched it again, it wouldn’t be sitting here, but it did go down 💀
@@NinthShinigami Some movies just get worse upon rewatch. They either age extremely well or age badly. If I’m in a Matthew Vaughn mood, I’m going with his other stuff.
Here are the nine 2024 movies I’ve watched and thought were the worst of the year 9. Spaceman-Although this movie had some ambition to what it was tackling, I wasn’t able to engage with this movie because of its recycled ideas, jumbled tone, and aimless storytelling 8. Role Play-A movie that didn’t know if it was either a goofy action comedy or a serious espionage film, which made for something that fell short on both of the targets it was aiming for 7. Mean Girls-While this musical retelling of the 2004 film is harmless enough, at no point does this movie have its own identity in its moments or characters that the original film has had for many years 6. Atlas-Another straight to streaming service original movie that has everything it’s supposed to have, minus anything creative or compelling, thus this movie is another “It was generated by AI” movie 5. Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver-Because Part One: A Child of Fire completely drops the ball when it comes to the setup, this movie has to build on the faulty setup to deliver a derivative, cluttered back half to this story that I thought had quite a bit of potential 4. Night Swim-Despite not being tedious to watch, it’s a January horror movie that doesn’t offer anything of substance or entertainment value with its lore, storytelling, or character development 3. Unfrosted-An absolutely bizarre directorial debut from Jerry Seinfeld that’s painfully unfunny when it comes to the jokes and confusing when it comes to who the target audience is 2. Wanted Man-As much as I love Dolph Lundgren, this movie stale, predictable, and played out from beginning to end, which made for a movie I didn’t get anything out of 1. Madame Web-A mediocre at best, unacceptable at worst entry to the comic book movie genre that just like Morbius, was funny just how much this movie was bullied by the internet
I’m this close to watching Unfrosted. I’ve tried my best sticking away from bad movies, even buddies have told me it’s horrible, but it feels like the kinda thing I gotta see for myself 👀
@@NinthShinigami It’s the kind of movie where you’ll be scratching your head for the entire runtime going “How’d this get past the development process?” That’s all I was thinking when I watched it two weeks ago.
@@NinthShinigami Unfrosted doesn't belong on the worst movie list in my view, it's just forgettable and a dud of a movie overall but it has moments. Madame Web and Rebel Moon are Battlefield Earth level bad movies.
I don’t know I think the extreme love and hate especially for Rebel Moon gets exaggerated just because of the crazy camps on both sides for Snyder on the internet. 2 has issues and I liked it less than the first one but still.
I tend to avoid movies I hear are bad so the only movies I’ve seen this year that I actively disliked were Argyle (which wasn’t even THAT bad) and Madame Web
Disagree with DogMan. Had a blast with it, loved the performance and the weirdness of it all. Did not mind that it wasn't an Action movie and more of a Joker-esque kind of film, with that 5 minute shooting. Might be because i have a bigger attachment towards dogs rather than humans that i enjoyed it a heck of a lot more, but i did got into it.
Just everybody be aware of that he considers rebel moon the worst movie so far this year and Just gave it a "C" from a supposed rating system of "A+"to F.

3. Thelma- This movie was barely entertaining and I just did not enjoy it.
4. Scrambled- This movie had its funny moments, but having all the jokes be about a woman’s reproductive system was just gross.
5. Unfrosted- As much as I wanted to hate this movie as I did think it was bad, I still laughed a lot.
6. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare- This is a bad movie disguised with explosions and cool action sequences.
7. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire- This was my least favorite movie in the Monsterverse besides Godzilla vs. Kong.
8. Immaculate- My biggest issue with this movie is that it is completely banking on being absolutely crazy. While it gets points for how crazy it is, that does not necessarily make it a better quality film.
9. The Beekeeper- This movie wasn’t terrible, but it’s here because I need to make it to ten movies.
10. Argylle- This movie was fun, but makes the worst list just for how over the top and convoluted it could be.

Here’s my 10 worst movies of 2024 (I also put it on my Letterbox’d)
10. Imaginary
9. Megamind 2 (the not-Will Ferrell version)
8. The American Society of Magical (Redacted)
7. Back To Black
6. Mea Culpa
5. The Underdoggs (Snoop deserves better)
4. Air Force One Down (why make a sequel without Harrison Ford?)
3. the Netflix movie that completely disrespected Woody Woodpecker into a live-action farce
2. The Exorcism
1. Madame Web (Sony’s POV version of Morbius)
Bonus: Unfrosted (featuring the worst Oscar host ever, Amy Schumer).
I’ve only seen 17 movies from this year so far:
10 Hate To Love: Nickelback
9 Bob Marley: One Love
8 Dune Part 2
7 Ghostbusters Frozen Empire
6 Road House (Amazon Prime)
5 Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin (Apple+)
4 Upgraded (Amazon Prime)
3 Damsel (Netflix)
2 Orion and The Dark (Netflix)
1 Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate (Peacock)
Dune Part 2 in worst list? That’s a weird take, but ok. That’s my favorite film of the year
Thankfully, I haven't seen any truly BAD movies this year. My bottom 3, however, would be:
1. Argylle
2. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
3. Mean Girls
Atlas tried to make a version of Titanfall.
7. Road House
6. Cabrini
5. Ultraman: Rising
4. AGGRO DR1FT
3. Challengers
2. maboroshi
1. Escape from Germany
Here is my reasoning:
- it is marketed as a comedy, yet I didn’t laugh once.
- Margaret Qualley’s character is the most annoying movie character in recent memory. Her accent will haunt my nightmares forever more.
- the rest of the characters actively annoyed me
- the movie had a 85 minute runtime that somehow felt like 85 years.
I was mixed on the mean girls' remake. I didn't completely hate it, but I didn't love it. I was in the middle
Madame web and Rebel Moon 2. Horrendous stuff !
Yup
Funniest thing I don’t know why is Russell Crowe roasting Dakota Johnson not getting anything from Madame Web
It's funny how there's a movie called Dogman, and there's a Dreamworks movie called Dogman coming out
Here is my worst and not in order
Saving Bikini Bottom, The Sandy Cheeks Movie
Megamind 2
Players
Woody Woodpecker
Madame Web
10. Winnie the Pooh blood and honey 2
09. Argyle
08. Ricky Stanicky
07. Rebel Moon part 2 the Scavenger
06. Lift
05. Atlas
04. Mea Culpa
03. Megamind 2 Doom Syndicate
02. American Society of Magical N words
01. Madame Web
Sorry, but you really didnt need to write n words. You are making that title seem a lot more offensive than it really is.
@@T_R_O_Y_McClure im playing it safe some are offended by the gro some are not.
3.Red Hand
Revenge
2.Rebel Moon both
1.Madame Web
My worst: Argylle. My best friend and I now rate movies based on Argylle. "How many Argylles will you give this movie?"
Never even HEARD of Dogman, Snow White/Samurai, or Blackout!! Personally, I liked Imaginary, Unfrosted, and Mean Girls
I haven't seen a couple on your list, but I have seen a decent amount this year. These are my current, bottom 10 films of 2024. (Let me be clear that some of these I think are fine, they're just the lower ones on the list.)
10. Damsel
9. Code 8 Pt. 2
8. I.S.S.
7. Lisa Frankenstein
6. Abigail
5. Arthur The King
4. Miller's Girl
3. Argylle
2. Godzilla × Kong: The New Empire
1. Madame Web
Argylle is my least favorite movie of the year and it's not close. It's not just that it tries so desperately to be cool and clever, it's almost 2 hours and 20 minutes long.
Those last 3 actions are so cringe I nearly walked out
Humongous disappointment. Movie had so much talent in front of and behind the camera. I guarantee that people will still be talking about Madame Webb in ten years and Argyle will be forgotten. It’s almost better to be remembered as really bad than barely remembered.
My Top 10 Worst Movies of the Year (so far)
1-Rebel Moon: part 2: The Scargiver
2-Madame Web
3-Atlas
4-Imaginary
5-The Exorcism
6-Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate
7-Horizon: An American Saga
8-Mae Culpa
9-Miller's Girl
10-Argyille
Points for using the "You're so stupid" clip from UHF. They filmed UHF in my hometown and I was an extra in several scenes, including the Wheel of Fish sequence you featured. I've only seen Madame Web from your list so thank you for saving my time on the rest!
6:01 I don’t
17:13 couldn’t agree with you more than this
My bottom 10 as of now is mostly filled with mediocre movies with the exception of the bottom 2 which are just bad.
35. Madame Webb
34. Mean Girls
33. Ricky Stanicky
32. Self Reliance
31. If
30. Argylle
29. Ghostbusters
28. The Watchers
27. Immaculate
My bottom 5 is (1 being the worst)
5. Kung Fu Panda 4
4. The Fall Guy
3. Argylle
2. Madame Web
1. Unfrosted
I loved Fall Guy personally 😭 I respect and agree with the rest of the list tho
I've haven't watched too much bad this year.
I disliked Rickey Stanicky, Unfrosted and Madame Web quite a bit. Lift and Damsel would round out my bottom 5, but I didn't mind those two as much
I'd be surprised if Madame Web doesn't *SWING* its way to #1
My 10 WORST movies of 2024 are...
1) Madame Webb
2) Madame Webb
3) Madame Webb
4) Madame Webb
5) Madame Webb
6) Madame Webb
7) Madame Webb
8) Madame Webb
9) Madame Webb
and lastly
10) Madame Webb
The zack snyder trope of making a shitty movie that nobody likes and then saying "but wait, the r rated version is the real version" is truly sad and ridiculous
My dad says that the Rebel Moon films are better than The Acolyte
Madame web,Tarot, rebel moon 2,Atlas,ghostbuster frozen kingdom ,furisoa, imaginary and Immaculate are worst movie of 2024
I find it extremely aggravating that recently Snyder just uses excuses of “it’s not r rated” or “it’s not the directors cut” to justify his terrible movies of recent. Like it worked for justice league but anything would’ve been better than what we got from the original one
Awww...I liked Atlas. I thought it was fun
Alien Romulus was absolutely the worst movie of 2024.
The new Mean Girls wasn't quite the same as the 2004 version. Of course, the original is still much better and the basics of the story are still the same, but as a huge fan of the original, I think they managed to change a few things so that it didn't feel like a rip-off.
Terminator,but with Spider-Man.
No guarantee it would’ve been good,BUT IT WOULD’VE BEEN SOMETHING!!!
Netflix is genius they paid for 2 movies but now they get 4 and Zack Snyder fans are gonna cheer for it and defend it
The only movie on this list that I saw was Madame Web and I'm grateful I didn't see the rest!
This is at least kind of fun on the rarest of occasions and it's marginally better than the first one, but I don't like it)
3. The Garfield Movie(It's aggressively boring and lame and doesn't feel like Garfield)
2. Unfrosted(I hope Jerry Seinfeld had fun with his friends. I didn't have fun with this)
1. Madame Web(Duh)
As of today, my bottom 10 on my 2024 ranking are:
10. Argylle 5.5/10, I originally liked it, not too much now tho
9. The Beekeeper 5.5/10, I can see why this worked for everyone else, it was generic for me
8. Good Grief 5.5/10, I’m not gonna lie I didn’t get it
7. Damsel 5/10, just meh
6. Lift 3.5/10, what even was this? Really?
5. Rebel Moon Part 2 3.5/10, I keep being unable to connect with Snyder
4. Atlas 3/10
3. Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp 3/10
2. Madame Web 3/10
1. Megamind Vs. The Doom Syndicate 0/10, this was pain and suffering
Dishonorable mentions: Maboroshi, Spaceman, Orion and The Dark, The Casagrandes Movie, Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 2
BRUH WHATS WEING WITH WOODY WOODPECKER
Lift was soooo bad. I thought it was going to be fun Friday night movie... but nope
There have been so few quality movies this year, that the Mean Girls remake musical is one of the better movies we got
Literally not bro 🤣
Here are the nine 2024 movies I’ve watched and thought were the worst of the year
9. Spaceman-Although this movie had some ambition to what it was tackling, I wasn’t able to engage with this movie because of its recycled ideas, jumbled tone, and aimless storytelling
8. Role Play-A movie that didn’t know if it was either a goofy action comedy or a serious espionage film, which made for something that fell short on both of the targets it was aiming for
7. Mean Girls-While this musical retelling of the 2004 film is harmless enough, at no point does this movie have its own identity in its moments or characters that the original film has had for many years
6. Atlas-Another straight to streaming service original movie that has everything it’s supposed to have, minus anything creative or compelling, thus this movie is another “It was generated by AI” movie
5. Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver-Because Part One: A Child of Fire completely drops the ball when it comes to the setup, this movie has to build on the faulty setup to deliver a derivative, cluttered back half to this story that I thought had quite a bit of potential
4. Night Swim-Despite not being tedious to watch, it’s a January horror movie that doesn’t offer anything of substance or entertainment value with its lore, storytelling, or character development
3. Unfrosted-An absolutely bizarre directorial debut from Jerry Seinfeld that’s painfully unfunny when it comes to the jokes and confusing when it comes to who the target audience is
2. Wanted Man-As much as I love Dolph Lundgren, this movie stale, predictable, and played out from beginning to end, which made for a movie I didn’t get anything out of
But I absolutely hated Challengers
I don’t know I think the extreme love and hate especially for Rebel Moon gets exaggerated just because of the crazy camps on both sides for Snyder on the internet. 2 has issues and I liked it less than the first one but still.
I liked Madame Web
whenever Sydney Sweeney was on screen.
Fair enough.
Her character was annoying
I tend to avoid movies I hear are bad so the only movies I’ve seen this year that I actively disliked were Argyle (which wasn’t even THAT bad) and Madame Web
I own basically all the marvel movies but I am not buying Madame Web
Disagree with DogMan. Had a blast with it, loved the performance and the weirdness of it all. Did not mind that it wasn't an Action movie and more of a Joker-esque kind of film, with that 5 minute shooting. Might be because i have a bigger attachment towards dogs rather than humans that i enjoyed it a heck of a lot more, but i did got into it.
It's a 3-ways tie between Damsel, Dunes 2, and Madame Web but I would have to go with Damsel because it was so boring 😅
Imagine expecting your fans to watch multiple crappy movies, just to say "oh ok, now watch these ones. These are the good ones"
Can you do a trailer reaction to Batman caped crusader?
How can a studiio like The Asylum still be in business if they purposefully make terrible movies?
Night Swim, followed closely by The Strangers: Chapter One.
He is 100 percent wrong. Madame Web was amazing, and it got unnecessary hate. Don't listen to him
As a titanfall fan seeing a mech movie excited me which just made the failiure more disappointed
I think it’s funny how Snyder movies are bad and all he has to say is oh it’s not my version and people will just continue to eat it up
I really like Isabela Merced but Madame Web was not her best performance.😅
Dog Man I really liked. Mean Girls remake was mediocre.
But Chris Stuckmann said were not allowed to say movies are bad anymore!!
He also grew up with everything.
Just everybody be aware of that he considers rebel moon the worst movie so far this year and Just gave it a "C" from a supposed rating system of "A+"to F.
0:27 he also said this ;)
@@NinthShinigamistill that doesn't excuse the low placement of madame web
@@adamcade604 he literally said it’s in no order, THEY ALL SUCK and there is no placement 🤣
Ok, I get it. I'm the only one who enjoyed Rebel Moon
Imaginary was decent if you watch it like a step above a Goosebumps movie.
Drive-Away Dolls #1 worst by a country mile, nothing else is even on the same list
I would add
Dont tell mom the babysitter dead
And
Not Another Church Movie
Can someone explain the pop tart joke? The fact that I don’t get it probably explains why the movie was so bad and shouldn’t have been made.
When Sean uploads, my day is complete
🎵I hate it when they turn a good movie into a musical!🎵 (JAZZ HANDS!!!)🤮
