Updated Fantoccio Boss Fight in Billie Bust Up! (No Damage)

- The Fantoccio boss fight for Billie Bust Up! got an update to add more effects and changed a few mechanics. Now you need your bubble ability to reflect Fantoccio's shots, the shockwaves have new graphics (and the third phase shockwaves are faster), plus the rubble doesn't leave debris. There's also a slight change to the ending animation which is still unfinished.
But hey, it looks nicer than before. There's no one-hit mode for this version (yet) so I opted to just do it hitless on the normal mode. The patreon test builds added this and Aristotle's tutorial which can't be streamed/uploaded due to a placeholder VO for the demo song from what I've read.

Guess they saw how much people liked him. Feel like he'd be ecstatic to know that he has legitimate fans... but they can't attend his plays because they exist in an entirely different universe. :P

It could be that was always the plan but it was funnier for the story boards to just crush him. Kinda like how some versions of the dying song show Billie in the family guy death pose at the end

billie has a heart even for people trying to kill her and iam a kirby fan so dont judge me for what im about to type but just like kirby he saved some of the people that tryed to kill him in star allies like hyness
This updated version of this boss battle is absolutely fantastic! It fits so much better with such a catchy song!

Billie’s ears were missing from a lot of earlier cutscenes, they do the poses first before adding the ears to streamline the process.
@@Stelthily Feel like there are going to be a lot of funny moments of Billie's ears freaking out in cutscenes. Especially in any serious scenes.
Sometimes the devs post videos where instead of missing their ears, the ears are in a permanent A pose

ngl i liked the idea of fantoccio trying to do a really high note and gets interrupted by a rock falling and crushing him, although i see why they changed it
yeah apparently it was a fake ending too cause they didnt want to spoil the actual ending of the song but i miss the 'original' idea
I kinda wanted to see him still die at the end, but I'm sure it was changed as the story progressed in writing, but it's nice to see an animatic at the end instead of just the drawing board
i love it! ESPECIALLY THE GUITAR! (RAAHHH) you but like it adds a different tone to the colors because at 1:46 during the stage change, i feel like the color scheme in the background could be more of the tone of the first strum of the guitar at 1:58, so a more techno color palette in the back but thats just what i think

What I love about this boss figth is that Billie/the Player BEATS FANTOCCIO WITH A STICK. It always brings me joy to see a little goat child beating a magical theatre kid with a stick.

THATS WHAT MY BBU OC DOES IN MY AU!
Explanation: Chloe, my rabbit BBU oc, is the one playing the violin in Fanto’s boss fight in my AU. When the end of the fight draws near, and the statue starts to fall, Chloe tries to warn Fanto, but he can’t hear her, so she drops the violin, jumps up, and pushes him out of the way, saving him from getting crushed. Unfortunately, Chloe gets hit by the stone in the process, nearly sacrificing her life for her best friend. (She survives don’t worry).
Lil details abt Chloe: Chloe is a female green rabbit who is Fantoccio’s best friend since childhood. She is the same age as Fanto. She has a dark green clover-shaped spot in her forehead, and ear/hands/feet tips of the same color as the spot. She wears a blue cape with a gem in the middle, connecting the two ends of the cape. She is Fanto’s sidekick and best friend, and is the second star of his show (Fanto being the first obvi). She plays the violin and the accordion, and can be seen near the middle-back on the right of Fanto’s stage, playing both instruments. She knows a lot of magic, and is actually a very special species of rabbit, a lucky rabbit (u can tell from the clover spot lol), and brings good luck to whoever is near her. She can summon another pair of arms too, but usually only does so in order to play 2 instruments at once. Like Fanto, she can quickly change outfits using magic, and has a great singing voice. The two are very alike :) (she’s thespian too :D)

edit:I thought about it for a while, since they took the time to design Fanto's death, MAYBE it'll be a choice thing, where you choose to help him, and if you either don't choose in time or choose to not save him, he'll die, but if you save him that scene plays, just a small theory for the game, who knows!

This fight improved a bit from the 2020 beta. Just hope they add some sounds to this fight.
The sounds appeared more muted for what ones they had so I'm guessing this was to show the updated graphics.

The Barnaby chase hasnt gotten an update
I don't believe it got an update besides some minor graphical tweaks (like an indication before Barnaby swings his knife) that was seen in the developer's upload of the level which wouldn't be worth repeating at this time. But if there is something notable difficulty-wise (i.e. one-hit mode added to something without it currently or a new level) then I'll be uploading - as long as the developer okays uploads/streams.
