- I was practicing some new video techniques and had planned to make a normal video using my gathered clips. I decided editing to some over the top epic music was more fitting! :D
A new 75 gallon display is currently being built as well. Stay tuned for the video once it is completed.

Eight years 😏
@@herpetohobby4351 Yeah 8 years and I wonder where is Mr Grimm now. I am sad that he no longer uploads videos about this beautiful thing. I hope he would upload more one day.

This tank and video is still the goat 7 years later.

You gottal love how this guy made one of the coolest looking vivs out there and then proceeds to vanish from hobby 😂 add a couple of years to it, still looking great. This is how legends are formed. I'm going to tell this tale to my kids one day haha
Poison Dart Frog paludarium is really cool. I want one too.
Oh my fucking god the editing was so awesome

Awsome! It looks like you literally took a piece of the jungle and put it in a tank!
I'm obsessed with the camera work and editing. Hilarious, great job. And the vivarium looks beautiful!
More like You made a slice of heaven in a tank. Life is being created in that tank in more than one way but of course you already know that, Beautifully done. Im going to watch it again right now.
Wow... I've always had a thing for fish tanks and spend quite a penny on my 55 gal.

Well done! Very exciting editing and production of your naturalistic vivarium. Cool frogs too!
Ohh man I don't know what is more epic the frogs or the plants. That is just so cool and amazing!
This is my favorite tank on the internet. Using it as an island separation was a brilliant idea. Congrats.
Love it !
You have worked hard & put a lot of thought in to this. BRAVO!
That is a gorgeous setup! Nice job!
Not sure which I like more, the tank or the editing. Nicely done!

Amazing job at recreating a jungle! It looks outstanding! I am sure all of the frogs love it.
This little video is cool!
Awesome set up!!
... The music makes it feel like an epic saga about a momma frog trying to a) find the perfect spot for her young or b) protect them from the cannibals in the jungle. D8 GO, MOMMA FROG. PROTECT THOSE BABIES.
Excellent! I really enjoyed the quality of your video and your setup is beautifully arranged.
Very very nice work, thank you for all the helpful information in other questions as well. I house Fire Belly Toads at the moment, but I'm interested in dart frogs and would love to set up a tank like this. Congratulations on the babies too! Mine are just starting to mate. Again, wonderful setup!
that was radical...felt like a wicked spy action movie trailer.:D
One of the coolest setups I have seen

You sir, have an amazing talent.

Holy shit, it's like you cut a piece of the jungle out and placed it in your room. It's god damned amazing.
I love it and all the frog species! Great job!!
So amazing to see everything grown up, Congrats man one of the best setups on here
Natural looking setups look much better and most of the time are better for the animal, I don't understand why most people don't keep their pets that way
+Franklin Michael The herp industry started out that way but once every tom dick and harry wanted to own a reptile or phib, the art of creating the whole setup properly kinda got lost. Because of that people were having problems with mold and various other issues with a natural substrate without proper microfauna keeping it clean. Sadly many attributed this to the dirt itself and abandoned it for sterile substrates which certainly do work but don't provide the enrichment that imo many of these herps need. Basically it's all about creating what's called a bioactive system where you have isopods (woodlouse, pillbugs, etc) and springtails and sometimes other detritivores in order to keep up with the inhabitants waste as well as keep the substrate fungi and bacteria in balanced levels where they breakdown organic matter but don't go overboard and risk your herps safety. They also turn herp waste, fungi and other detritus into plant food too. If you interested in this check out the facebook group Reptiles and Amphibians Bioactive Setups. It seems to be making a comeback I think largely because of dart frog keepers already having used isopods and springtails for feeders and extra would escape the frogs and start colonizing and cleaning their vivs.
can a setup that size be cleaned exclusively by isopods and springtails keeping 2 dart frogs?? cool snake by the way, i own one too, but mine is a python, i have videos if you want to check them out
Franklin Michael Yeah, I agree. Same can be said for fish tanks too. The natural look is just so much more appealing.
rushthezeppelin Wow, an intelligent comment. Sadly too few people like yourself about. Impaction, disease and other stupid things, that come about as a result of poor husbandry, are banded about as the result of naturalistic/bioactive terrariums and it is so frustrating to hear constantly. There is no arguing with these people. All my animals should be dead years ago by their logic.
Its not exactly easy or cheap 😂 but I still do it anyways 🤷♂️
lol I like the dramatic close up on the frog.
Best vivarium i've seen by far. This is a better enclosure than most Zoo vivariums.. Congrats
Really cool tank! I think I am going to turn my 75g freshwater fish tank into a palladium roughly based on this!
Holy crap that setup and design was epic, sick job on the cinematography!
This actually qualifies for the epic description.
Yeah it was fun watching them jiggle around. You can't fully appreciate them only using your eyes so Im glad the dad posed for the camera a lot.
