When you're fighting shooters, wouldn't using the Columnus work against you due to the damage dropoff against Flak and Unyielding at a distance? Something like the Graia has a more normalised damage model where you deal a little less damage at close range, for much less drastic damage dropoff at long range.
I think people really sleep on the 5% crit node + perk on the MK V. The fact it has a crit batch value of 4 with a 13 RoF means with both of those your meager 13% crit (up from its base 3%) can very easily turn into giant crit chains since you are guaranteed at least 1 batch of 4 crits that can proc their own (citation needed) per every 1 second of firing. From extensive testing on MK V specifically the 5% crit node has the same value for DPS vs a pogryn as Bring it Down which is the 20% damage vs Monstrosities node. ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkxUeVS9ycwsXGrfP-ERflzYNpRYunUnIA7 This is a quick 30 second clip of me taking down a chaos spawn (it doesn't take 30 seconds at all).
Its definitely not a bad node, the only real downside is that its less efficient because you're taking a point that leads nowhere, and Vet already has Reciprocity that makes it somewhat redundant with its potential +25% crit chance.
@@BlueEyesWhiteViera Disagree. I've used that node, and its not always up when you need it for ranged. It's an excellent horde clear node however, and I do see its value especially on my hybrid to melee builds.
@@infrared6973 I didn't mean psyker. That's my bad there. Psyker can achieve 100% crit rate on MK V Columnus with just the "True Aim" talent right above the Disrupt Destiny keystone. Also you said surge? I literally just meant for one gun specifically getting disproportional value on crit.
Ive been alot better with my positioning and its led to me either needing to clutch damnation runs alone or like yesterday me and a bot finished off a nurgle after everyone else died and i was on my surge assail build and we barely got through it. A sniper almost sniped me as i pressed the button to go down to smelter complex. Also the director is so bugged rn we had enemies infront and behind with a beast of nurgle ame crushers down the walk way and people just folded immediately lol. The funny thing about the directoe going crazy rn is u get to see who can handle 10 crushers or 15 maulers and ceazy stuff like that. Also i know the director is on crack cuz im seeing multiple bombers side by side plus snipers in weird places you never see them. Makes playing with randoms rn insane.
People think demo team is bad from my encounters, because they take it into the meat grinder and aren't hit with a avalanche of free nades within the 1st 4 seconds and think it never procs. while in game the thousands of trash that you mow through will keeping you in the black with free nades.
If I had a nickel for every time Id be playikg IIIVEG and I'd would blow all my grenades into a horde, then have full grenades before we fully cleared the room (thanks to the couple dozen specialists and elites that spawn) I would have at least 5 cents
PLEASE make build videos for zealot, I stg I'm able to build myself a decent setup for everyone but zealot, as zealot I end up not knowing how to build her and doing 300k damage as a result
What do you think about useing Deadshot + Invigorated (activating Melee Specialist restores 20% Stamina)? So when you're out of Stamina you quickswap and get 20% back for 1 more kill, then swap again
So Duck and Dive works with Stripped Down. Do you happen to know if it works with Ghost (ranged immunity on weak spot hit) or Hit & Run (ranged immunity on close range kill)?
IMHO You should put the build first, then 3 min of gameplay. Guys who want just the build will be happy, and it is easier to understand WHY you do certain things during gameplay, when you know the build. Personally, I run weapon mastery on vet - not because it's meta, but because I just like to alternate between meele and ranged (and it isn't that much worse from marksman IMHO, but requires you to change your playstyle a bit to get the full benefits)
Yesterday on my surge psyker i clutched with a bot and we had to finish off a beast of nurgle and i almost got sniped twice. The director is on crack rn but it makes for some eventful games. Plus we get to really see whose learned anything in damnation and who hasnt cuz alot of people die constantly or just leave games its so crazy rn lol. Every games like a hi shock rn even if it doesnt have any modifiers at all. I also had a game yesterday where like 15 maulers spawned and half of them were infront of us and half of them were behind us and we were sandwiched in a stairwell lolol.
Any recommendations for a Zealot build or a Ytber that doesn't just regurgitate "supreme sister death assassin" build and actually understands how to build?
There's a hand size issue that makes Ogryn rocks and nades really tough for Tanner, so he's on a Saitama regime to get his shape ready for true Ogryn gameplay. Doctor Johnny Sins can confirm.
Question: Why are u running crit/weakspot dmg on your weapons? Scalling on both of theses perks in general not good and most of the time not worth it. Even on knife with the high crit dmg, the 10% crit dmg perks gives you 7% dmg increase
OK how weakspot the 10% dmg perk works is that it increases the weakspot dmg portion of the attack for 10%. I tested it on a knife on a crusher without any talents. It does 86 normal dmg on a heavy, 245 dmg on a heavy weakspot hit. That's 159 weakspot dmg. If I put 10% weakspot dmg on it it does 261 dmg on a weakspot heavy which makes the the weakspot dmg 175. That's a total dmg increase of 7 %. That's what I meant with the dmg increase on that perk. Crit dmg works the same. It always worked like that in all tide games. For me the dmg increase it not significant enough to justify a perkslot for it.
I wouldnt bother with the right hand path down to brittleness for Plasma, save yourself 3 points for somewhere else, maybe choose something else from Marksman focus as well

On the build page you use the Mk6 knife but in the video it's the mk3. Which one do you recommend?
When you're fighting shooters, wouldn't using the Columnus work against you due to the damage dropoff against Flak and Unyielding at a distance? Something like the Graia has a more normalised damage model where you deal a little less damage at close range, for much less drastic damage dropoff at long range.
this is actually a pretty high iq thought. the only issue is with how busted the mk5 is atm it just doesnt matter.

The problem is getting to that node on builds. My surge build doesnt take it cuz i cant get to it playing with assail but i could with brain burst.

Best bit of advice. Walk back. It’s so true!
I’ve seen so many wipes from everyone running into a room full. Tide games are about space after all

Welcome to the the meat grinder where all the chances you get don’t fucking work until the end of your explanation

What do you think about useing Deadshot + Invigorated (activating Melee Specialist restores 20% Stamina)? So when you're out of Stamina you quickswap and get 20% back for 1 more kill, then swap again
It could work well
Would be good to cover why crit hit chance / weak spot damage are chosen over flank/ maniac etc
because it does more damage why else
Good build & video explanation, cheers !
I see you are not using any of the shout related buff nodes, too situational ?
Great build.. but what would you drop for a 25 toughness node on this ?
Love the videos! And the format is great. Know if you'll ever do Zealot or Ogryn builds?
So Duck and Dive works with Stripped Down. Do you happen to know if it works with Ghost (ranged immunity on weak spot hit) or Hit & Run (ranged immunity on close range kill)?
Can you post a new mod video
Probably a stupid question but is deadshot just completely overkill is a build like this? Or its more that stamina is too important to waste on it
Stam to important for min max.

What do you drop for the field improv. The extra grenades on elites ?
Yea
Off topic, but is there a reason Tanner doesn't do content relating to Ogryns? I don't believe I've ever seen him mention why, although I can imagine.
I think he just hasn’t played him so far lol
There's a hand size issue that makes Ogryn rocks and nades really tough for Tanner, so he's on a Saitama regime to get his shape ready for true Ogryn gameplay. Doctor Johnny Sins can confirm.
He said he hates everything ogryn related on one of his deleted streams. They're too big, too slow etc etc
He also has said he hasnt played since the beta lol, i wouldnt expect a vet player constantly slide dashing to enjoy a slow meat slab
@@MOTHMAN_y0 He had to delete and silence such cowardly opinion smh... OGRYN STRONK FOREVER
would this work just fine using the devil's claw? what should be adjusted?
It would work fine

For crit 86 base heavy. 274 heavy crit dmg and 290 heavy crit with 10% perk. Wich is an increase of 7.5%
I think theres a bit if a miss communication here
I know how they work. I just think 14% to all considering the extra modifers after the fact is better to 25% to two
