Exciting things are coming soon!
Stay tuned, Chris - Авто та транспорт
My father had a single cylinder BMW in the late 60s. I still remember getting a ride on the back. Not sure it was an R26, but sure looks like it. Mom made him get rid of it after he almost had an accident when someone in a car almost killed him.
Nice bike. Sadly, some parts are chromed, although they weren' t in original configuration.
Best regards from Switzerland. Europe, the old world.
I' m swiss and have studied english at high school.
What a stunning machine. I can't believe how well kept that thing is.
Lord!!! What a beautiful bike!
Excellent work, Chris! Love seeing vintage iron being brought back to life. 🙂
Beauty
Love that bike. Fun ride.
Lovely design...
Great as usual
Maybe a little Lock-tight on those nuts and bolts would keep her from shaking apart. Love those old machines. I'm sure the drum brakes aren't anything like today's brakes, but just fine for low speeds.
Wow ! What a motorcycle !
Love that design/look.
What a great condition this bike for it’s age!
I wish somebody/manufacturing company should start making this design, put electric injection, and maybe disc brakes, keep reasonable price, I think there is market for that/people will buy.
Chinese make copies of so many products for cheaper, this is one product that I would like them to copy.
Thanks for the video.
Badass.
Cool Beams
did you learn what you can from the bottom up? I mean BMW bike repair?
It should start by the first stroke...
😊
Bought my first modern bike recently. A bmw 05 r1150rt. NOTHING BUT TROUBLES
Ha, have problem, with r1150r 2004. have fuel and spark but won't start, replace the battery, almost but nothing, fuel smells, where did I look
My memory goes back, quite a number of decades ... a man cannot forget his first one ... especially when it was such a catastrophe. BMW's jackhammer on two wheels ... A really bad starter ... barely 2 or 3 rides without a breakdown, mainly lost screws or loosened electric wires ... a broken battery (vibrations) with poured out battery acid ... a broken license plate (vibrations) multiple times ... broken tank losing fuel (vibrations) ... a 1000 times a loosened nut which holds the exhaust pipe to the cylinderhead ... and to break the camel's back a fully damaged drive shaft to the rear wheel gear - all over the world known as the "everlasting one" - this happened at the end of the spring in may and, new spare parts no longer available from the "friendly guys", my mediocre workshop needed 3 months, i.e. a l l the summer!, to find used parts somewhere. And so, this sh.. bike flogged me merciless from a green beginner to a well experienced damage analyst and wrench swinger ... Nowadays a 200 cc scooter and a 1000 cc 2-valve flattwin are waiting for me ... :D
Bike looks great. May I know the brand name of the tail light please? Thank you
Probably " Hella" , from Germany. But this one seems to be chromed, like other parts of the bike. Not original...
If its originally black, don' try to customise it...
Greetings from my country, Switzerland.
Is this for sale ? If yes how much is the price ? Hopefully asking price is something I can afford.
Needs more chrome. LOL
Man, these videos are better than sex!! Getting the battery cover off was just foreplay.
Uau
Not good!! Rev up a cold engine that has been sitting for ten years like that!!!
Hi, have problem, with r1150r 2004. have fuel and spark but won't start, replace the battery, almost but nothing, fuel smells, where did I to look, wrote on Facebook
Runs again, factory error assembly, in the tank, one hose and clamp
Id bet its got all of 10. Brake horse power...
Merkez Bank Kasası Batarya
brighter than the original 👎
To rev a bike like that for its first start in years is asinine.
You can see by the massive chrome parts, that these are American guys..... why do you always want to look a classic motorbike like an Harley ??? Although its fine restauration, neglecting the original paintjob is a pity. It's also a pain in the ass to see you guys transforming older American cars in disgusting hotrods.... respect your mechanical history !!!!! But I understand: people that place TV's in their home with a fireplace on it, can't have any style.......
