We take our Lance 825 Truck Camper to Petrified Forest and White Sands National Parks. Both parks protect naturals wonders of geology, with petrified wood in one and gypsum sand in the other. Along with these geologic wonders, we also saw expansive vistas of the Painted Desert in Arizona, learned about the history of Route 66, drove through an active military missile range surrounding the sand dunes, had our very first bobcat sighting, and camped at a luxurious KOA campground in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Both parks are also very pet friendly, allowing us to take our dog Hatch out on several trails, and even got him certified as a Bark Ranger!

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video. We do occasionally see some dispersed camping areas, especially on BLM land. There are a couple websites that list boondocking spots, like Campenduim and possible RV Parky. BLM’s website might also list designated areas as well. Hope that helps! Safe travels!
