This is poor, but well done for having a go at different voices and accents. What you should do is have 4 or 5 people to do all the voices, so you don’t have to say so and so said all the time. And have sound affects like the Archers, and pictures with some animation. I know that’s a lot of production work, so perhaps you could collaborate with someone like Armchair Historian. Unless your target audience is just blind people? You could also do reviews with the story outline, highlights with excerpts/extracts. Are there any pictures in the books? 10+ hours is too long and I’m listening at 2x speed, bc your voice is a tad slow. Still very clear and good though, I love it when you’re barking orders and doing accents. Thanks for your effort, it’s interesting. But 1000+ views, only 30 likes and 1 comment is a poor response really. I hope this helps in some way.
He's just reading the book as is. I think it's just fine. If you like marvel comics they do audio books the way you suggested. Look up secret wars by marvel . They have several voice actors and sound effects . They call it " a movie in your mind"
This is what is known as an audiobook, which comprises a book and a reader. Those of us who enjoy audiobooks do not want sound effects, music or multiple voice actors getting in the way of the story. Reading and even listening are participation activities. If you allow it, your mind will paint those pictures that you're wanting someone else to interpret for you.
