Setting the calendar for . . . the beginning of May? Season 2 of The Thamesmen. I'll be there!
What a season that was. And I’m looking forward to season 2. Suggestions? I have to think about it, but here is what I loved so far:
- your sense of humour, lots of inappropriate giggles
- the little stories about musicians you met in your lives
- the little stories about what you experienced on festivals
- the Wheel Of For-tune (but you should be careful that you only add artists you are willing to listen to. I’m still waiting for AnnMayKantereit. :)
- the film clips of all the old and odd films
- I don’t know if Chris will still be part of your team, but he added really good music. A good way to make sure that we (and you) never had to listen to bad music.
- and most importantly: That you really have knowledge about music and I’ve learned a lot.
- the Tadaaa at the beginning and your kind of messed up start is always a joy. I really would miss the "Tadaaa". Actually I’m writing a book and I used to watch your videos while I was writing. And I knew very early that the last words of my book would be: "Tadaaa". No joke. When I’ll really ever finish that book, I’ll send you a copy. Unfortunately it is in German, but you can find the "Tadaaa" on the last page and you will know, it is a quote of your "Tadaaa". (But don’t get too excited, I’m a very sloooow writer ...)
Now the "long list" of what I don’t like:
- Nothing, but I’m not the biggest fan of The Cozy Corner
8 weeks without the thamesmen will be hard to bare, enjoy your break, your current format is great so don't change too much, suggestion would be to do a livestream where you share a couple of your personal favourite songs that you haven't shared with us or maybe even with each other

Wow, that's a long season one. Hopefully season two will be just as long and entertaining.
Changing things up a bit, hmmm, interesting. It never hurts to freshen things up a little, however, I hope you don't change things too much, as I quite like the current format. It's quirky, kooky, irreverent, wild and unpredictable; pretty close to perfect really. But hey, it's your channel and you do what you feel is best for it. I look forward to seeing what you come up with, I will be here when you get back.

Ha! Bloody typical …………..after patiently waiting for 12 months for at least one of the 3 great curated weeks that I prepared for Chris to find their way to the surface you guys go and decide to change the format. That about sums up my luck. I guess my suggestion is bound to be to keep the curated weeks!! Have a great break and will be interested to see what you come back with.

8 weeks is just enough time to buy a new sofa and big screen TV. Pick up a few boxes of popcorn and some cases of Wobbly Pops.
Buy some pajamas with a hood and a trap door. Oh and renew my internet subscription and quit my job. I should go now and write a list .
For Season 2 how about some more magic tricks from Alex 🤣🤣
All of those silly things sound amazing! Especially pantomime horse, lol. I'd say keep all of the music stuff because that is amazing. Anything you add should be something you think is fun, because that is why people watch you. If you aren't having any fun nobody will watch, people can tell the difference.
Absolutely no ideas from me as I’m not really sure what type of ideas you’re wanting.
But enjoy the break. It’s good that you aren’t chained to the Channel, at least you can continue to enjoy it that way.
Hi, enjoy listening to your show although I usually skip the pretalk leading up to each song.
I would suggest enhancing the channel as a two way street. Get song recommendations from the audience and play as many as you can throughout the year (set some rules around it for sure)
Then sprinkle it with episodes where you choose the music/performances, even if it is not a first time reaction for you, but provide some deeper analysis into the performance as to why you think it is special.
Keep the curated weeks they're good.

We love the creative process and also just being a bit silly. So feel we need to challenge ourselves a bit to avoid getting stale
