Thats my English teacher from 12th grade. Mrs Khan, you know you singled me out for no reason and hated on me and my friends unnecessarily. Also mrs. This woman has probably been waiting years to be in Ellen’s audience, and now this trip that was supposed to be a cherished memory is ruined and probably one of the most humiliating days of her life.

Yes, I would be. As I said, it was a cheap way of dealing with it, but if it was dealt with behind stage without her being put on view, she wouldn't change. Theft is theft. Andrew Garcia I can’t believe this idea got approved. It had to go through at least 5 different people including producers, writers, and Ellen herself before it got implemented. Not to mention hundreds of staff had to not bring up a concern with the idea. It’s insane no one stopped this.

That item alone for that person is for free. An additional item has to be purchased. This is simple to understand. What you are doing is twisting the facts to fit your narrative. There are degrees of theft and what she did is not that bad and definitely didn't deserve ellen's shaming but it's not the moral thing to do. A clear evidence to that is that she is the only one that did it. Imagine if everyone took more than one item because "all the items on the table are free" it will be a significant sum of money in earnings lost. And possibly not all the audience would have gotten their gift item.

That's understandable, but it feels like Ethan went a lil over the top with his reaction and exactly how activist he got with this. I think what showed through was his dislike for Ellen, which is alright because he's entitled to his opinion, but, again, it feels like an overreaction in the same way Ellen went a little over the top.

She didn't bother blocking anything on the sign, left the whole thing untouched, LEAVING A PHONE NUMBER to reach the woman. Thousands of fans started calling the woman to torment and harass her. She was a real estate agent or something, so not only was she completely embarrassed, but her business was held up as well. When the woman sued, the fans were like "It's her fault she can't take a joke".
It was a joke, but they snowballed it into fucking harassment. Ellen isn't as squeaky clean as you think.
