- On our annual winter RV camping trip we spent two delightful nights camping at Purtis Creek State Park. This great Texas State Park is a fantastic place to take the kids fishing! One thing of note about Purtis Creek State Park is the fact that there is a large population of raccoons that are very happy to spread your garbage all over the park if you do not keep it contained. I even captured one on video breaking into a dumpster.
In this visit to Purtis Creek State Park I visit the primary points of interest in the park. Both fishing piers, the day use swim area and the boat ramp.

Well yea it’s winter try fishing that pier in spring or warmer months . It’s Bo longer catch and release only on bass now in 2022

I've been there once and will return soon. Nice park. The cardinals pecked on my windows, mirrors and tail lights. The squirrels would not leave me alone! I did catch some fish. Hey, I loved the music on the intro, who is it, please?
You must have been there in the spring for the birds to be acting that way. Happens every spring, the birds attack the bird in the reflection and poop all over the car door while doing it! I have even had them building nests in the truck grill and open compartments on the RV. My rattie pack keeps the furry tail rats away!

@@DudeRV Isane unrealistic bass fishing off them docks. Caught many many 4 plus bass there. Live gold fish is the key! My uncle who worked there told me about it about 20 years ago. Gonna go back in 5 days. Cant wait to ruin my kids like I was.

Thank you Bob! Great video! In northern Illinois were I live, the state parks with water and electric are now closed, well may be all now because of the shut down, hope it ends very soon. I here you about the road noise, I have too keep my windows closed at times. Thanks for showing the wild life, its amazing how the deer just blend in with the trees. Have lots of fun. Ka9

Is there a regular outlet or just the 30 amp connection?
all RV power pedestals have a 15AMP plug in addition to the 30 AMP RV plug. thanks for watching!

It felt a lot like a zoo! I dont really go fishing to catch the fish, but that is a big plus!, I just enjoy the process and the being outside.
