    Excuse me for mumbling a bit, but my braces are really killing me, haha :D . Can't wait for it to come out :)

      In all due time, you'll get a custom to the braces like my past year getting used to losing partials of 2 lefthand fingers. As towards speech, I give it roughly 2 weeks till you can properly voice the words. Like those who wear dentures. Well in bout 5hrs till your premiere and I shall be intrigued. Lots of luv to you and have fun. 💙🤟😉👍

    Oh that colour with the carbon fiber is GORGEOUS.
    It almost makes me want to do this on my 1970 Superbee. That combo is something else with the wood.

    A special mixture for the wheel to avoid using cotton?
    I wonder if it's something similar to the wax I use on my bows.

    The case and strap are two HUGE plusses! Do you have any idea how long the strings last? I've never seen a tutorial on how long they last or how to change them. Because of players like Patty Gurdy the popularity of this instrument seems to have shot up. You're starting to see them in folk and alternative bands. Plus sudden advances in the instruments are increasing interest in players.

    I couldn't get a very clear picture of this part... So the tangeants have felt on the part that makes contact with the strings too??

    Interesting instrument from Wolfgang... One thing remains questioned by me - isn't this wooden part that holds the wheel too fragile compared to the whole construction? And do you know whether it can be replaced with more sturdy one?

    Would it be possible to make a pure electic hurdy gurdy like an e-guitar?

    • @anniehurdygurdy_official
      @anniehurdygurdy_official  Рік тому

      Yes :) There are some. Alex Zwingmann and Sebastian Hillsmann in Germany build e-hurdy-gurdies

    Personally, I would love to see the process of shaping the carbon fiber. I've seen blacksmith Kyle Royer making knife handles from it, and it seems like a very difficult material to work with. (Kyle makes some gorgeous knives and swords - I recommend checking out his photos). Anyway, if you ever get some inside look at Herr Weichselbaumer's process, I'd love to see it.
