Gotta be my favorite blooper highlight with the "he's dead" line. The outtake they tried first with, "Ryan's dead to me, you hear me? He's deeeeeaaaAAAAADDDD" and the guys just bursting out laughing.
This is a top 10 all time favorite episode. I mean not only do we get the equally unnerving and hilarious scenes of the McPoyle’s loosing their shit from the bath salt laced milk, but seeing Dee go insane with rage at the destruction of another of her cars.
The funniest part is that Del Toro was the one who asked for it! He offered Charlie Day a role in the Pacific Rim in exchange for a part in Always Sunny, and, according to Charlie Day, during the shooting of Pacific Rim Del Toro was very excited about that deal and kept telling him "I can't wait to see what you guys will write for me"
@@mashav8114 I think he actually was a big fan of It's Always Sunny beforehand, which was probably why he cast Charlie Day in Pacific Rim in the first place
I really love the Always Sunny episodes that fully parody a different genre of television/film, and I believe this is the first true one unless I'm forgetting something. It's truly impressive how Sunny can be so experimental with episodes like this one, and yet it never feels out of place or forced. In this episode there's no Paddy's Pub, the gang doesn't have some ridiculous plan/scheme to obtain something they want, it's simply a horror story set at a wedding, and it's easily a fan favorite episode of many.
You know what I like about this channel? That when you see a character actor that you recognize, you just quietly go "Oh hey. I seen him before." There's another channel that's popular I watch sometimes, and man they will SCREAM at the top of their lungs "OH MY GOD ITS THAT GUY! WHERES HE FROM?!?!??!" And then spend minutes talking about things they MIGHT have seen them in. (And god forbid if its an actor from LOST.)
I don't know if you guys are aware, but there's actually going to be a crossover between Sunny and Abbott Elementary coming next year. I'm not sure if any of you guys are Abbott fans--I haven't seen it myself--but it might be interesting. At the time of this comment, it hasn't aired yet, so I'm hoping it goes well. 🤞
Jesus Christ, must have busted a gut with so much laughter in this episode! 🤣😂🤣 9:50 - 9:54 "Who's this guy?" "RYAAAAAN!!!" 😂😅😂 11:50 "Macpoyles will take over the WOOOOORLD!!!" 😅😂😅
One of my most used and most under appreciated quotes from Sunny comes from this episode - "Things have already taken a bit of a dark turn, it would seem."
Del Toro is a fan of the show and asked Charlie Day to be in it when shooting Pacific Rim. Charlie thought he was joking though and didn't actually bring it up to the gang until Del Toro asked how his role was doing. I believe Charlie admitted to him he didn't think he was serious, but was all for it😂
The guy who plays the detective looks a lot like Michael Madsen who played Budd in Pulp Fiction, I had to double check the cast list to male sure it wasn’t him!
Season 8 is great! It's absurd they have "banned episodes". The banned ones were some of my favorites, especially Dee Day and the Lethal Weapon episodes.
I wish that the Lawyer would have been pulled into this episode as well. He just feels like the missing ingredient to these episodes where everything is pure madness.
Bath salts are just a cheap knock off of speed. 🤷🏼♂️ One news story where a guy eats somebodies face and suddenly it’s the drug that makes people zombies
I have to say... I do not get the Ponderosa stuff. It's just not funny. None of it. Not Maureen's cat stuff. Bill's suicidal drug problem. Nothing works.
Blind Wave BEYOND members and Raw Rider Patrons can watch the Full Length: blindwave.com/video/its-always-sunny-in-philadelphia-8x03-full/
Guillermo del Toro as Papi Mcpoyle may be his greatest acting role of all time 😂
I'm surprised they didn't see his credit
yea i was surprised Eric didn't know about it and tell them in the discussion. Such a great cameo.
They missed it.
Guillermo del Toro cameo is anther example of Chalie days acting caree getting them cameos. Pacific Rim
didnt eric litteraly wrote his name when he was on?

who's this guy? *dramatic mustache removal * RYANNNNN!!!!
I've watched that so many times I legit get confused when he doesn't deliver it that way in the actual ep
@@JenLight I'm so disappointed that it isn't take we use.
Can watch that blooper every day of my life, and it's still funny.
i have commented before that they should be watching the bloopers, they are some of the best takes
No one ever notices that Pappy Mcpoyle is played by Guillermo del Toro
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!
Yes
it's ok multiple people comment that on every single video about this episode
Understandably so!!
That’s kind of understandable, no? Most people wouldn’t be able pick out Guillermo Del Toro 😂
Guillermo Del Toro screaming he ate a baby is the best..
In fairness... the baby tried eating him first.
Makes sense, all the McPoyles sprung from his loins fully formed
Mac's comment on the academy awards kills me every time. "It's ATROCIOUS."
This is a top 10 all time favorite episode. I mean not only do we get the equally unnerving and hilarious scenes of the McPoyle’s loosing their shit from the bath salt laced milk, but seeing Dee go insane with rage at the destruction of another of her cars.
This reaction (at the time of the Patreon release) dropping on Halloween week is excellent timing.
Guillermo del Toro was Pappy McPoyle?! I need to lie down...
I need to know how the hell they got Guillermo Del Toro, one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, to play this absolutely insane character!🤣🤣🤣
The funniest part is that Del Toro was the one who asked for it! An absolute classic Sunny episode and one of my favourite tv show genre changes ever

9:12 Calvin reveals his real voice
I was about to say his voice sounds totally different in this video.
Also at 11:32
Calvin’s sick voice sounds like Rick. Or is this Calvin’s real voice?
The cop interrogating them played a cop on the show Cold Case that was also set in Philadelphia
1:58 Aaron's reaction to him saying "love" is amazing LOL
Maureen…you’ve enhanced yourself…
Charlie driving Dee’s car straight into the lamppost never fails to make me laugh hysterically. It’s just filmed so perfectly.
Perfect time for this reaction to drop. I’m surprised Eric didn’t mention that Pappy McPoyle is Guillmero Del Toro
I wasn't looking and I heard Calvin's sick voice and I could have sworn Rick was back.
“Yeah, we could definitely get laid here” is one of my favorite exchanges in the entire series.
"It doesn't make sense"
No one ever said this show would 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m my favorite moment from this episode is the face & delivery of the “I’m so damn happyyyyy” line

Abbot is a great show. I’m hoping we get a Charlie vs Mr Johnson janitor scene 🙌🏾🙌🏾

This is what I've been waiting for personally. It got me into it's always sunny and is one of my favorite episodes
One of my most used and most under appreciated quotes from Sunny comes from this episode - "Things have already taken a bit of a dark turn, it would seem."
This is one of my favorite episodes lol.
"My skin's not tight" --- Ryan McPoyle

I can't wait till yall get to Ponderosa vs the Mcpoyles. The trial of the century. Lmao Yall gonna laugh your asses off.
"We've only had two episodes and one of those was banned" lmao

such an amazing album
Eric you gotta let them know that's Guillermo Del Toro next time. You know when I mean.
Pondy’s the coolest!
Am I the only one who laughed out loud at they used to be married he’s grandfathered in 😂
Oh,my favorite episode so far...
Probably my favourite episode
this's such a great episode lmaoo
“That was a SWERVY road!”
Ahh one of my favorites!!
To the gangs defense, they may have stole her car in season 5 but it wasnt there fault that hitch hiker kid stole it
I wish that the Lawyer would have been pulled into this episode as well. He just feels like the missing ingredient to these episodes where everything is pure madness.
Yes, the cat sweater
I was just watching old Westworld reactions and have they realized who Jimmy Simpson is? I might have missed it.
Yes, in the first mcpoyle episode.
Resident mcboyles evil vibes here 😂
I wonder when they filmed this and if it was around Halloween?
this would have been the perfect episode for that bat to make another appearance😂
PLEASE watch the show “From”, it’s like a horror mystery, somewhat similar to Lost.
I would sue Bill Ponderosa if he ruined my wedding
This is one of my fav ep. The mcpoyles are always amazing :) Dee should just stop getting a new car!
The show went all Sam Shephard for this one.
Who is this Calvin-lookalike with the completely different voice?
Bath salts are just a cheap knock off of speed. 🤷🏼♂️ One news story where a guy eats somebodies face and suddenly it’s the drug that makes people zombies
And then Charlie Day would be in Pacific Rim. Or did that happen first?
A quick strobe light warning would've been appreciated.
Dennis, you had an out and you screwed it up. Although I'm sure you'll find a way to get out of that alimony
