Nice style of painting. I’ve been painting since I was 19 (51 now) and I paint using the same technique as you (long left to right passes). I did May candy paint jobs and I know how difficult it can be but your style/mine seems to work best. Great video and nice job!

Watched all videos straight after each other very mesmerising awesome very clear communication and explanation but I need to know Because the jambs are painted and cleared what do you do so no sealer or base gets sprayed in the gaps on the fresh paint? 😎 I’m almost ready to paint my first car at home
Lots guys say if you flow coat it shines even more im depth is that true? What clear did u use? H.o.k show clear? What was your fluid for the gun wide open?
You killed it and made it look easy! The pressure of painting a true urethane kandy is immense, every step is a booby trap right up until the last coat. How do you go about the sealer drifting into the jams as it always goes further than the base? Do you find 3 coats has enough uv holdout for the kandy? Awesome job 👏 it must be beer time now after that big booth session
Thanks for the support 3 coats is plenty have done many over the years holds up well far as jams fine line tape as tight as possible pull fine line before fully setup carefully but some times do some touch up were needed.
1 time hit it and quit great job. So were you dustin the candy on or lil heavier than that. I'm about to do a candy Magenta on a motorcycle. And I always let my silver base dry overnight before spraying my camdy.

You should be fine with bike stuff don't dust it just take your time and watch the edges .thanks for watching

How many quarts of Kandy did you need for the whole job? 4 coats of Kandy? Looks awesome!
I bought 8 quarts so far used 41/2 I always buy extra still have some small parts left

How do you keep the paint from hitting the insides of the gaps that you have already painted but mating up well?
