I got a birthday surprise today. Somebody gifted me a month’s subscription to Law Talk With Mike, the funniest court watching in the world. Thanks so much to whoever gifted me with this Sovereign Citizen level subscription .
I think it is great that the female judge on the top right was able to use her screen saver photo of herself with blinking eyes. Kudos to her....🤣😂I bet she uses that effectively in her daily courtroom procedures...😁 And that was a smooth transition when she came back live to say...."I do not"!!!
The appellate court video was great, good introduction to whether the issue was legal error. The attorney took the appeal in a wrong way, the judges were very nice to him.
In addition to being passionate about the case and the children involved, there may have also been a sense of wanting to retire on a win. Nobody wants their last professional act to be a smacked-down loss.
THe lesson here is Don't be a Dick. With all seriousness though, I feel bad for him, he clearly was trying very hard for this family and it was hard for him. He's a good person and a good lawyer. As for the first guy with Judge SImpson, I hope he is able to heal in every way. He seems like a really nice guy. And Simpson is a legend
So ok, that was not the same attorney (from last night’s stream) as with the Lily Bristow case. Those morons names were Ethenia King and Theresa Hood. Their clients name was Tonya Sullivan. She wasn’t an attorney and definitely not the same one as yesterday. As soon as I heard that I was like heck no. That attorney yesterday was FABULOUS and no way it was that loudmouth dummy from the other case so I checked. I just didn’t want Ms. Tricia SOLOMON from yesterday to be insulted. LOVED her! 🫶🏼
It would really be hard to not get over involved emotionally in your cases - especially when kids are involved. I think it's time for him to retire, and I'm glad he's doing so.
Now watch it Mister! I'm too stupid to be a lawyer but you have very sneakily taught me something!! That's not what the internet is for!!!! Now, where's the porm and beer?
I'm not sure where "our" courts are, but that's a real bummer, that can't be good for their mental health. When you deal with such darkness day after day, a little humanity goes a long way.
After being sober for a year and a half, it amuses me to watch addicts try to talk their way out of jail to get their fix. Been there, done that. Its miserable.
Hello Mike, Thank you for a real time session of the Show Cause case of Mr. D. Wilson, ESQ.⚖️🏛 That was an education in a Judicial Disciplinary hearing. ✍️📜 I applaud Mr. Wilson on his stand up apology to the Court and to his involvement in the case for the children that he did Pro Bono!👏👏👏 I wish him well in his retirement. 🤝 I saw where the Lawson case was dropped!👎 Thanx Mike!👍😎
Actually I like the attorney although I can see he was too emotional in his language but the panel seems too sensitive at the same time. They need a screaming goat to blow off their emotions lol 🐐
Regina Edwards, thank you! Mike, I really enjoyed the last proceeding. Never get to see those kinds of things. From outset I thought he was trying to "clear his desk", leave nothing undone before he took his leave as honorable officer of the court. Do one last good for those offspring, finally finish it well after years. He tried, but he let out vehemence and vitriol. Hope he isn't sanctioned. It's not warranted IMO.
Every time he “admits” he was wrong in crossing the line, he qualifies it, starting with the word “but”. It makes his quasi-apologies null and void, in my opinion.
He's spent a lifetime serving the court honorably and is on the verge of his retirement- I don't think he should have to grovel. Tbh I don't think they should have even had this hearing; I think his lifetime of service speaks louder than a few words on one motion. And bedsides- isn't he simply asking them for the same thing they expect of him- that they not impugn his motivations based on what they see form the outside looking in? They're asking him to do the same thing- to give the court the benefit of the doubt and always assume their motivations are pure. So, if I were him, I would expect the same in return- and in that case- why are we even here? See its o.k. apparently for the court to assume intention and judge someone's motivations- but not ok for anyone to do that to the court- Doesn't feel right to me.
@@stoneysdead689 I don’t think the judges implied in any way that he should have to grovel. And to just admit that you were wrong and apologize isn’t groveling. It’s being a mature, professional adult. To me, and it’s just my opinion, it doesn’t matter how long you served-you still need to show decorum and professional respect. He did agree- on the surface, (albeit insincerely) that he shouldn’t have questioned the oaths they took or accused them of throwing the case in the waste basket. He should’ve just left it at the admission that he was wrong to use those terms. Experience shouldn’t be a pass to to do whatever you want or to follow your own set of rules. As to your point that they should expect he’s coming from a place of pure intentions, he insulted them and questioned their integrity just because they didn’t rule in his favor. He implied that they didn’t want what was best for the children. He should know better not to make assumptions like that and publish them. It’s like Mike said, he got too emotionally involved, and he needs to just be humble and admit that-like one of the judges did-that no one swears to get everything right when they swear on their oath. They did their best.
hello hello hello My first time in CHI I stayed at the Fairmont that is just behind the tall one over your head. I come back for the vids and also for your city pics.
MIKE! ....BRO!?!? SO sorry about the dogs man. I feel terrible, I knew I should've taken time to like and subscribe so I didn't force you to do what had to happen... Prayers. Lmfao
I think D Wilson deserves to be commended. Regardless of how he has gone about it, he has those KIDS as his primary focus. He’s fighting for them, which it sounds like no one has.
"I am a grown man now" 😂 it only took going to jail 20 times and turning 40 but he grown now 😂. Oh and he has 2 holds and on deox....but he grown... for real this time
Legit law question - Is there ACTUALLY a reason to bring in the last attorney to decide on whether to bring sanctions other than the fact he hurt their feelings and they want to make an example? I get being interrupted in court and contempt, but basically saying "You insulted me in a written response, so I am going to sanction you." seems frivolous and petty.
Simpson is the type of judge that one could only wish they’d get. He’s stern and speaks his mind, but he’s honest and thoughtful. Like Manning, he puts common sense and knowledge of the law first, not sob stories. He wants to do what is best for you and the community. I’ve never had to appear in court for anything in my life (not even had any tickets or fined for anything lol), and jfc I hope that trend continues, but I can only hope and wish to have someone like him or at least someone with 1/2 of his character if that day ever comes.
OMG, dude. Stop yucking with the judge. That older attorney seems to need a long vacation. Or maybe it's time to retire. OH, snap. I feel awful for this man.

I have to say, the judges on this panel are so professional and patient.
Judge Simpson: “He’ll be back. Tee-hee”
The appellate court video was great, good introduction to whether the issue was legal error. The attorney took the appeal in a wrong way, the judges were very nice to him.
And we must have follow up to that defamation disaster!!!
Apparently it got dismissed when the defendant didn’t show up because she neglected to subpoena him. I really wanted to watch it though!
@@Kthb80 ughhhh I kept checking her court channel and nothing...how disappointing 😞
Lord…. I wanted to see that shit show.

I think the expectation of behaviour in formal settings has changed in the last ten years.
I always enjoy tuning in to see Caitlin Kirby everybody's favourite 16 year old Prosecutor.
I received a gifted membership ! Thank you whoever did that
I thoroughly enjoy your commentary and analysis. It helps add color to the complex judicial system of why things are the way they are.

What sort of mom are you ?
Not a fan of Tricia Sullivan, she needs to drop the ghetto attitude, she could be very classy if she so chose
I just checked too. You’re right, not that same completely disrespectful lady Ms King.
@Lindon Martingale I saw that Benihana tweet as well 😂 lol
@Lindon Martingale that’s hilarious 😂 I only saw the most recent one lol.
Pretrial in Spanish?? It’s the Christmas gift I didn’t know I needed. And just when Argentina won the World Cup too yay!!!

The way he says: “a legal error” reminds me of: “a thrupple” 😂
The live action cut out of Judge Nardella with two double AA battery power blinking eyes was very convincing.
Does that Judge Nardella even contribute anything? 😂
I wish that man the best and hope he stays out of trouble and stays sober!
Just stumbled on your channel a couple days ago, & I've binged watched pretty much every video! Love this channel so much! Thanks.

That Lawson - Solomon defamation hearing made my brain numb.. I kept hearing objection.. objection.. in my sleep
Oh Dear Lord… me too. No sleep last night.

I wanna see J-Bot in Judge Simpson's court. Real curious about that dynamic. lol
That exchange with the judge and translator absolutely warmed my heart.. LOVE IT!
That's awesome Jason Baker

@@eaharms3544 our = UK... in Scotland we call them Sheriff and other part of the country they are called judges. It old victorian formalities etc

I loved the hearing with Dick Wilson. Clearly a man of strong convictions.
"I smile before I bite" Judge Simpson dropping bars!
In terms of the Simpson hearing, who else thinks the GIRLFRIEND is paying the $459 court costs out of HER pocket?

Mr. Wilson is obviously terrified of the dentist.
Hey Mike, today in Middletons court room is that Swartz dude, the one that they had to find his wife to make sure she's safe.
I need the followup of the defamation case. That is going to be fantastic

Good evening Mike.
Miss the festive city of Chicago even though it’s darn cold. Love that background.
Dogs won’t do it Mike. Now a cat.........🇨🇦🐉👩🏼⚖️
Noooooo Ms Solomon is NOT the same atty that was on Lily's case! We can't be sullying her good name like that! 😂
I'm a sucker. He's old and it breaks my heart and I'd be like, your forgiven, next!
This lawyer's skills seemed to have diminished a bit since the time he was training Clarence Darrow
