It's sad when people wanna go shopping and can't because everything is looted or boarded up. Shameless
Whats more sad is the people that end up without a job cause of this ignorance 😕
I haven't shopped inside of a store since 2015 I've been shopping online 🤔
@@Beautifula233 once all the stores close they will come to your house and loot there.
@@3John-Bishop I live on a military base so that won't be happening 🤔
@@Beautifula233 Jeff bezos thanks you for your patronage.
And you wonder why some neighborhoods look they way they do. Just stating a fact that those neighborhoods will not progress because the society will not progress. Meaning better yourselves mentally to do better in life to be successful. But some are just too lazy and just want to live in the moment.
Aramingo Ave has improved in the last 10 years? I doubt that’s true.
Perhaps the union needs to reorganize
You never see this on mainstream media smh
It was on CBS and ABC.
PS...my mom wants to know when you were driving around Aramingo Plaza did you noticed if e-Nails got hit? It’s around the Halloween store next to Domino’s. Thank you.
Lol
E nails was hit
@@ThePhillyCaptain SMH. Thanks for letting me now. My mom is gonna love hearing this. The city is being destroyed but that’s no excuse to not have pretty nails. First world problems 🤣🤣
Bridesburg nails is open lol
@@ThePhillyCaptain she won’t go there cuz it’s too small & everything feels like it’s squished together. Oh well I guess it’s back to Quarantine Nails el natural haha 💅🏻
That really shows how Philadelphia is....
Won't see this on Action News. Greetings from Delco my friend, just subbed.
It was definitely on channel 10
Welcome Aboard
This is ridiculous. Businesses should go ahead and protect what belongs to them at all costs.
This is sad to see. I was born, raised in Mayfair (Frankford & Cottman) and would go shopping in these stores like RJP, occasionally this Shop Rite if the Mayfair Shoprite was a mad house. My ten year anniversary at my new place up the mountains was yesterday. I was sad because I wanted to go back to the home I lived in for nearly fifty years. I will always miss my home but this scene made me glad to be gone. The city I loved, after seeing this is no more. I feel like I'm in purgatory, I hate it here and I don't want to go back there. The beautiful quality of the Philadelphia homes are no match for any other homes I've lived in since I moved. Thanks for sharing. This is no way to protest, we have become the mob mentality we hated from our government. This country, man. This country.
Great video be safe out there..
WHY, RICHMOND,,,, LOOT and Steal from you own neighborhoods🤬
I HOPE BUSINESSES NEVER GO BACK.
An incomplete sentence in all caps is never a good look.
Business are still there they never left.
@@ThePhillyCaptain I am sick of looters not the GREAT people of Philly'.
I hope People realize they are fucking it up for themselves (and kids)
The National Guard should have been called out before this riot started
Obviously
Agreed but they really didn’t have much time
Blue states didn't use the guard for riots. They refused to.
NO the U.S. Marshalls should have been called out
If they broke into a bank, would that consider to be bank robbery? Shouldn't they be shot at legally?
@Fifth Column ???
No they are innocent and entitled
There were police and helicopters all over the place when the looting was going on
yup Thats where the Marshalls would have came in handy
@Henry Horner peaceful protesters broke into a bank? Do you think it's appropriate to bring race into the discussion?
I can’t seem to find a job, Oh that’s why...
People saying they can't find a job, so they loot or steal. It's just excuses. It's a lack of a moral compass and personal integrity that is one major cause of this behavior.
@@michaelbest7872 Thats a job to them
This is sad and what's crazy is the same people that did this will get a stimulus check
This is what i have been sayin all along they will get a check not fair
and got 600 on top of unemployment money they all ready get
They don't work. So they didn't get a check. 🤷🏻♀️ That's why they are so mad.
I haven’t gotten my 2nd stimulus check since April 15.
I haven’t broken the law.
I have to go to work.
What the hell is government doing with money?!
What a nightmare, it looks like the aftermath of a natural disaster. What a damn shame. Stay safe out there.
Destroying ur own neighborhood that's already a dump is super woke
I would assume the majority of the looters do not live in this neighborhood.
The looters weren't from the neighborhood. They were opportunists that coordinated this hit mostly.
Smh 🤦♀️
The looters came from everywhere, suburbs and other neighborhoods, and even NJ and DE
@@ft9kop How do you know this? Is there some publicly available information or data?
I don't understand how you can feel good about yourself after doing something like that. Whatever happened to morality and integrity?
Sorry ass lazy so called parents never taught it. But they did spend money on high tech crap kids dont need...
That went out the window years ago morality isn’t absolute so it’s just needed when someone’s emotions get ruffled
The media and politicans are grooming these people to feel like they're victims of corporate society. They're teaching them that they shouldn't work to better themselves because old white men are to blame for their struggles. They're promised handouts that never get them out of the vicious economic disparities they suffer from. Personal responsibility is a thing of the past.
@@GusFromDaysPastWOW REALLY You guys sure picked a convenient time to start operating with "morality and integrity"

Just like that football team that reps that city
This is all part of God's judgement for the sins of america and the whole world in general
And they keep getting away with this, pretty soon no stores will open! No ones stopping this! Pisses me off
You talk to the devil?
@Human Observer glad to hear this
I would put these people in a resolution center! Make them work for all the looting and tearing the city up!
i`d put them on a chain gang and drag them from store to store to clean their mess up
Makes me sick to my stomach
Kill steal robbery, looks like the police doing you a favor, so you can loot, you can thank to police now, because, you don't care about the people that were allegedly killed by them, it's an opportunity for to take, take and destroy
Better yet get a police scanner, so you're know where to go loot at, I guess you're steal that too
@Sam is lame, That's odd, innocent people being slaughtered doesn't make you sick to your stomach. But the loss of revenue does.
@@outherehuntinwolves7259 look, nobody is happy about police brutality. So, get passed that please. Second, you talk about the only loss being of revenue. There are plenty of other losses: loss of jobs; loss of access to goods people in the neighborhood need; loss of new businesses willing to risk opening in those areas; loss of everything for small business owners - don’t kid yourself about insurance either - doesn’t pay nearly what you think; lower home values; loss of livability in the area; loss of personal security people have. In short, it does nothing but further screw things up!

This is what the trash of society...really looks like...
It's sad to see the massive destruction and Looting of Philadelphia. My suggestion all the Businesses Owners get together sue the City for failing to protect their properties and Businesses. It's not worth operating any business in Philadelphia, when the authorities failed to maintain Law and Order. Every major Businesses shutdown all your businesses in Philadelphia and relocate to safe city.
It's easy said. Try working all your life to better your life. Your parents sold all their land back home to make life easier for their families and in a blink of an eye it's all gone. 89 years of blood. Sweat and hard labour all gone. Not forgetting in between you lost your grand parents and your parents and family and friends. But life goes on. God bless all. Hope?? Gave up on that years ago.
Easy fix close the store . End of story
At some point that’s what it will come to. How are small businesses expected to recover from something like this? Unfortunately, many won’t return.
I did an update yesterday. The majority of the stores that were looted are open or will be opening soon. 2 Foot Lockers, a bank and a T Mobile store are closed for good
Doesn’t look like Philly is the city of Brotherly love
Thats what happens when manners and respect are no longer taught to the young
Wow I remember being a kid going to the old Kmart and the blockbuster across the street. So glad I moved outta there years ago, its a shame. Crazy too how all the stores have graffiti outside the walls looks like a war zone. Be safe brother new subscriber here

I was in Upper Darby until 96... it’s really a shame what is going on up there. Parents grew up in philly in the thirty’s and forties... I wonder why the police aren’t showing immediately and making arrests, it seems as if it’s all just being allowed to take place.
I was there when the looting happened. You can see the police were on the scene
ua-cam.com/video/NxUVVxiAVP0/v-deo.html
I left ten years ago yesterday to the mountains of PA. I remember shopping in the Toys R Us for my little girl who is now 25. Sad isn't it. I used to love my city.
My mother and so many good people still live in these neighborhoods and rely on these stores. So furious at the lack of leadership we have from every angle in Philly 😡 This could’ve been prevented!!!
This destruction is another successful outcome to that leadership, they weren't looking to prevent it.
Now watch him try to get a cup of coffee
@@commanderwatchman9994 local militia could have ended it quickly too. The people are limited in the same way the marines would be.
@@truthfactors9958 haha. Ok. They will simply find another reason to riot and loot. You'll support them right up until they throw a molotov on your house.
@@truthfactors9958 Walmart, Target, Rainbow Shop and the other merchants along Aramingo Ave have what to do with the police?
I hate seeing all of this. My family still lives there. They need these stores and patronize them. I hate to see that people are buying and fixing up their homes in the area and what the heck are they coming to. They want to build the neighborhood up and you have these scum bags tearing it up. Because eventually the stores will have to leave. Then the area will become another trash heap. I am one of the people who believe that you should shoot looters. What gives you the right to tear up everything ? All of the people I know in the area are hard working people. They need these stores. It just makes me sick. Thanks for posting this
I was thinking about my grandmother needing her medication the next day. What a bunch of savages
@ it is not about the stores ! Get it !
It seems its ok .. Its acceptable..The news blames the cops.. I like get a social worker..A social working with a life wielding psycho ..
No the people who loot should volunteer as officers since it’s “white supremest cops” can’t do the job let them take calls for domestic violence person with a weapon there so easy to judge but you won’t see them anywhere near a badge
when everything goes online there will not be places like this so easy to get inside. Then what happens? They come to your house?
That’s correct, if this keeps being allowed that’s what will happen. I lived in Norristown for 30 years and have been in Florida for the past 22 years. So happy we have a republican governor in place who won’t put up with this behavior, and thank God it’s a 2A friendly state and I’ve been fortunate enough to able to ammo up in case the shit hits the fan here. So sad to see Philly is this situation, good luck and God bless.
When they come to my house they won’t leave on two feet
DeSantis is a moron though. How many more people are going to die from COVID-19? And its a moronic right to work state. Florida is the joke of the country.
They mug you and use your CC
It's the $7 shirts for me 😆 this is disgusting what they did. So sad.
Why pay $7 for a shirt when you can get $20 shirts for free.
@@robertsmith5306 umm no
Im getting offended
They looted the CVS across the street from me on 49th and Market. I never seen so many cars take off so fast after the police pulled up! Its sad if these stores close up after this. The elderly and people with no cars will have to go somewhere else.
Can't believe they looted a Dollar Tree store !!
The 1 at Franklin mills was robbed right after opening, they got away with a few dollars looters should be charged with robbery don't down PLAY ROBBERY
for toilet paper.
can't even use the word SAD anymore because the whole world is watching the USA
It is sickening. Sorry to see the damage to your part of the world. Your community should nat have to endure this type of criminality.
Violence begets violence. As it is written in the Bible, no justice, no peace.
If the police criminals had only adhered to the law, none of this would have happened. Blame Republicans for their refusal to legally impose police reform.
what's even more sickening is the fact that these people are going to be paid by the government for destroying stuff and for looting. at least that's what new york is doing now. backwards world we live in.
Nobody reopen ......i sure wouldn't
Of course Lowe's didnt get looted, everything in there is for WORK.

There are no leaders
US is a divided country under 1 flag, like a MRA
Yes, that's the big story The failure of the leaders of this community not the looters. You can't govern rats.
Leaders ????? What leaders Oh them pussies with suits on collecting your tax dollars as paychecks??????
Even more reason to enact martial law.
I agree 100%%
I'm sure that's what the elites want.
@broken sword well, considering the police is a brotherhood, fraternity, I highly doubt that would happen. The problem comes when non protesters, common criminals like the ones "looting", are given free range to do so, and the local government does nothing to try and prevent this from happening again especially since just 4 months ago the very thing happened. When the local and state governments don't act in the best interest of the wider constituency, and matters are to the point of utter chaos, then I would suggest martial law. Furthermore, the National Guard was stationed at and near City Hall, none were sent to or near Aramingo Avenue.
@@1dueceon9er I'm only suggesting this since City Hall did absolutely nothing to prevent the preventable even knowing we went through this just 4 months ago. It's called the chain of command. City does nothing, forget Harrisburg they could care less about Philly. The next in line would be the Feds.
@Christopher Neathery at this pojnt, it's necessary.
Every sheet of OSB on the east coast must be in Philadelphia.

Jose Colon thank you
That's me in the uhaul at the end of your video, was going to pack up my Halloween store.. by the time I realized it was you on the bike I was too far to honk, good to see you out there though
Some of these businesses may go online and only take credit cards (Good ones).
Thanks for making this follow up video. I was horrified when I watched your looting one last nite but to see the aftermath today almost makes me want to cry. It’s not the big wigs of the companies that are gonna suffer. I would imagine they have a shit ton of insurance & my guess is it would cover the cost to get the stores back up & running. It’s all the people who actually work in the stores & their families that are gonna be the ones to suffer. I don’t know anything about how that works but I’d think they would be able to collect some unemployment or maybe they’d still get their regular pay? I feel really bad for all the little stores that got hit like Great Nails, & jewelry store. I hope they’re able to recover. My biggest question is WHY the Dollar Tree? I’m not a professional looter. I don’t know a thing about the art of looting but if I was a looter my first instinct would be to hit up places with valuable merch & not a dollar store lol. I think most stores are supposed to empty their registers after closing & the money is locked in a safe somewhere. I never worked retail so I’m just guessing here.
If there’s gonna be another nite of this bullshit I just really hope & pray the city is prepared & ready to take whatever action they need to protect themselves, the city & all its residents.
I hope you & your family stay safe while all this stupid shit is happening 👍🏻
If they steal big priced items, they'll get charge with felonies

@@messemphanger that’s not always the case
Omg this is so SAD!!!! .... Honestly I have not been to that area in a long time. I grew up in Harrowgate section on KINGSTON Street. Right by Amber and Venango streets. My mom used to work at the Fashion Bug at the Imperial Plaza. I worked at Thrift Drug on Aramingo Ave when I was in high school. Everything has changed in that area... I don’t recognize it anymore! I guess it’s been since mid 1990s I left.
It really changed a lot 10 years ago
Come by for a visit
The proximity to K&A and points west really hurt Harrowgate. Sad to see a once proud River Wards neighborhood go downhill. Port Richmond and Bridesburg along Richmond St. are still nice during normal times. I was there just last weekend. The looting is sad most of all. It really felt like the city was starting to recover from the pandemic and unrest earlier this year, and now this happens.
Hey Captain! I’m rewatching this cuz UA-cam just recommended it to me & I wanted take a stroll down memory lane. 2020 was wild & I can’t believe it’s been almost 3 years since this happened. You did really great reporting when all those riots & looting broke out. It’s still crazy to me that all this actually happened & so close to where we live. 😳
I tried my best not to comment but I can help feeling bad about all this destruction for no real reason. If any of us were armed and a big brother is coming at you. WWYD? Hell I would shoot to maime and not overkill. They keep giving these people reason to act the fool. Wait til next week when they need some food.
What a bunch of pathetic losers that would do this to there own community. I hope the stores close and move to a neighborhood that appreciates them. Unfortunately there are many good people there that will suffer. This is the lost generation.
Florida's law to shoot looters should be country wide.
Doesn't anyone else see the irony and comedy in how looters seam to always stealing running shoes? Sneaking away with sneakers!!!
What makes me laugh is when they steal diapers
Don't worry America is getting a new leadership in January. If you don't see humor in a dollar store getting looted you need to get your funny bones x-rayed

Thank you for covering this cpt. The wawa was set on fire with employees in it so our wawa closed but three guys tried breaking in at 5 am this morning with sledge hammers. This is my neighborhood and I am very sad that this happened again. Smdh.
Theyll never hit the tax office. Theyll keep paying
Disgusting
Arm yourselves and protect you and your own assets..ask questions later
Now what, this is the second bout of looting since June, more jobs lost. I would not be motivated to open back up, the city has become too rough. My condolences to Bridesburg and Port Richman.
This is going to become more common as the pandemic continues - August 2021.
No business in their right mind would want to rebuild in these types of areas.
All those businesses should just shut down and leave the general public without anything
That’s not going to happen
This not way the solution to the problem and they could change laws then robbing every store. Why didn't parents of Walter Wallace Jr call emergency Crisis Mental Health then the 911, that's my question of the day? It's sad what did to stores and prices go up from all this robbing just watch! You did a great videos lasted night and I'm hoping the police gets your video of the people who's robberies because caught them in acts. Thanks Philly Captain!
The parents called for an ambulance not police. Blaming them is kinda messed up
@@ThePhillyCaptain I have a Mental Health son so I know who to call, live in Philly, and my son has Autism with depression and ADHD so I'm seeing this as a parent point of view and there are many ways to get help for Menth Health. I had to 302 my son already. I'm not blaming his parents just saying what they could had been done. Walter Wallace Jr had along wrap sheet over 13 times he was jail, too!
Your son ever run around with a knife? Come on
This is a embarrassment to our society people should be ashamed of themselves. Many of these stores just reopened about a week ago because they were recovering from the last looting and now look AGAIN. None of these businesses are responsible for what is happening in the community. WHAT A SHAME!!
You gotta love how they go after all the sneaker shops first lol.
No thanks

The sad part of all this is based on the stores hit none of this was done to prove a point but rather all for personal gain.
That dude wasn't worth this.
Every one of these stores should close up shop and never come back.
I could sympathize with people that are truly oppressed, and resort to stealing/looting in order for their family to survive. These people are looting beauty salons and shoe stores. Gimme a break! Respect for their plight, -10.
You are only as oppressed as you let yourself be.
Stealing/looting to help your family is still a scumfuck move, tell them to get a job
@P B equal opportunity to loot?
This is the result of anger and lack if moral compass. Most young people and yes older ones don't believe in God. So any excuse is used to do what they want, this is America! and we must be accountable for raising are children and watch are behavior. Yr video shows more of the destruction then the media but un less the heart of the issues are addressed more mayhem might come. This area is one of my favorite places to shop I feel for the employees that work in these stores to feed thier families. May God keep and Bless them.
I have family in Richmond, just don’t understand the point they are trying to make...here is your America the next 4 years folks!
For the record this only happened while Trump was President
They largely stole shoes and TVs
What’s a ironic situation
I bet the bookstores were untouched.
I'm sorry all your prices will go up now. You see the companies will never lose. They just charge it right back to the people
Hey Captain thanks for the views I know it’s hard to keep from getting emotional but thanks anyway It’s hard to see our country destroyed by these thugs They are not American They are not productive members of society In a time where we are all trying end stereotypes and racism this kind of behavior doesn’t help God Bless America and it’s good people we have left here 🇺🇸
Life without law and order
WTF is wrong with people?!?!
How the hell does someone blow up a ATM?? I live here in Minnesota where it all started and no one blew up ATM machines. Cars were set on fire and businesses along with the looting and violence. But the looting wasn't even started by the people from the community it was outsiders that started it and then people joined in and figured they were owed something. I felt (and still do)bad for the business owners whose entire livelihoods were taken away from them in minutes that took a lifetime to build. Yes they have insurance they can collect but those businesses do not have to rebuild back in those communities. So then where do the people go? Our furniture stores were looted. It was pretty funny to see people on TV news hauling couches down the street. Looked like a war zone in a 3rd world country.
Don't have to yell scream camera is all over the place up n down

That’s not true there were multiple news stations there reporting on this.
It was eerily quiet that day. I went to work. I didn't tape anything tho. I was going to put my phone in the window of the car cause I was all over the city for work.
Just more people out of work! How are the people to survive?
Thanks for the tour of my old neighborhood.
The government should have given stimulus so ppl didn't have to resort to stealing. People are dirt poor.
