This was EPIC I just added some mechanism at the Back and I made the reset of the Body around it and now it works also it looks too realistic a guard here in my complex ran away lol
MAGICAL!! ITS ME FROM A YEAR AGO! WE PLAYED SO MUCH TF2 AND BF1 TOGETHER. I forgot your steam name and I cant find you by searching MagicalAmazing. Glad to see you're back, I hope you remember me.
You know, itd probably be good if you had an instagram or twitter to keep us updated between your videos and what youre planning so we dont think that you're gone forever
Welcome back! By the way, I just got the time to make one of your guns now. How thick (as in width) would an average gun be? P.S. If relevant, I'm currently making an M4A1.
I usually use my best guess from pictures I find online. I don’t remember how wide I made the m4 and I don’t have access to it for the time being, but I suggest you look around. If you can’t find an exact number, see how it looks in peoples hands or compared to a cartridge and guess. That’s pretty much what I do
@@Magicalamazing Thanks for replying. From what I've searched, there's no measurement for width, mostly length and height. But, I found that a typical 30-round magazine is about 0.9 inch wide, so I went with 1-inch thickness. Keep up the good work, will try to make more from your vids. :)
Nice work! We were all wondering where you were on the discord server. Have you made a mosin nagant? Anyways glad to have you back- was not expecting this Christmas present.
No I have not made a Mosin. I think I’ve said it a couple times, but I generally avoid building guns with full wood stocks. The complex curves are nearly impossible to make look smooth. I haven’t been able to find a way to reliably make them so they live up to my own self imposed standards. All my real rifles have them though :)
@@Magicalamazing Oh. I made a Kar 98k. Made the sides smooth using 5+ layers of cardboard, then sanding it with 60 grit silicon carbide sandpaper until it looked good. Only ever finished the stock though. Unfortunately, I never took care of it and it eventually fell apart so I threw it in the burn barrel.
I attached them to each other. There is enough overlap between the parts to glue them together so that they are at different depths. At 0:30 you can see the assembled right side and at 0:59 you can see the left. At 1:24 there is a better clip of the layers as well. Some bits of these how to videos are kind of confusing because 60% of the time I don’t know what I’m doing either lol
@@Magicalamazing thx for clarifying bro. i was planning on making this after i finish the M4A1. if you ever need a reference for a gun, there is a website sketchfab.com . They make virtual 3D models of guns with a 360 view of it. much better than looking at pictures
ua-cam.com/video/XGv6tIL-XIA/v-deo.html that’s about all I can say on that. Also always use a good, sharp blade, dull blades are dangerous and won’t produce a clean cut.
If you mean like a thin bladed craft knife like the ones made by X-acto then yeah, probably. I find that the blades are not as strong and do not tend to last as long until the tip breaks.
@@Muhammad_Saqlain006 I use a folding utility knife like this one that takes replaceable blades www.idealtruevalue.com/store/p/157658-Master-Mechanic-Folding-Lock-Back-Utility-Knife-With-Hardwood-Handle-Q.html?feed=Froogle

No. Building these guns takes a ludicrous amount of time, and most of it is not interesting. The hand guard alone on this rifle took 5-6 hours for me to make.
I love this guy, only saw this video now, I followed it step by step did a paint job and damn hell that thing look so real I gave my parents a fright
