As someone who owns a real K98, this is really damn cool. Granted it isn't 100% accurate but that's because it's made of cardboard; the fact you made a working mechanism out of cardboard though is amazing.

The whole thing confuses me and makes me think how hard this is gonna get. Might as well just custom make the gun so that its simplistic and not as much detailed as this, and just uses the basic mechanisms

For those who really want to make this type of gun I'd recommend to use pvc pipes in the construction of the bolt its way easier to make it that way and more durable.

You’re supposed to use the exact amount of gunpowder for the bullets. If you go too high it will create a nuclear warhead. It’s a simple fix and a common mistake. Just look up how to do it.

@Owen Dejong On the IRL version of the Kar, its a magazine because it can come out and be loaded seperately (Although using it as a clip was more common). Since this one doesnt come out and instead has to be loaded from the top, it is a clip... so technically yes and no.
@@Kdenb a magazine is technically the storage area that uses some means of getting the cartridge into the firearm, most commonly a spring. Because it is inside the gun, it would just be an internal magazine. There is no clip involved in this weapon.
