You're a lovely girl, Vicar. Chunky but lovely.
Not bad for famous last words.
    RIP Mrs Cropley.

This is the one episode that I always remember when I think about this show. I always figured Mrs Cropley made everyone promise to take up her duties as village Easter Bunny because she figured pretty much everyone would think she was silly and they just wanted an old woman to die happy. I never figured it was because she forgot she asked each one.

Time has flown , sad to know that she has really gone along with so many others in the main cast , leaving a bitter-sweet legacy.

The saddest part is that half the rest of the cast lived shorter lives then Liz Smith, so sad 😭

But the reality is that the "vicar" is the one that demanded the other actress be fired.

As many have said, this is a heartwarming piece. Being a comedy, it had its fair shares of good funny lines and humour. The thing that I felt was that it gave an insight into what a real vicar of a parish has to do as part of their jobs. There are still plenty of small close-knit villages and communities and even though many will not attend church, the vicar will be an acquaintance and even friends of many. A vicar may look like a cushy job, but having to control your own emotions to give someone their last rights and comfort on their deathbed and then to conduct the burial service is not a job I would particularly like to do myself.

Bittersweet scenes like this. Pure nostalgia when I take a look back at the series. Sometimes I wish for a reboot but it’s impossible now, Of all the 10 main cast members only 2 are left-the Vicar & Hugo Horton.
