Awesome tips for getting the most out of footage! And you are right, it is hard to film underwater. Looks easy - not at all! I am learning every day and appreciate these types of videos that show you what a shot should look like if executed correctly. Thanks for this!

Personally, I'd probably keep my white balance on auto in only 10 feet of water. If you want to adjust it though, the more red exposure you get will make your video look better.
Hi Raymond, can you expand a bit more on FPS and light availability at depth. Is this related to "shutter speed" to use a still camera analogy? As in higher FPS means lower light entering the GoPro?
Thanks for sharing these awesome tips and settings!! Only thing I'm surprised about is using HyperSmooth under water due to it being electronic and having the need of light. I would imagine, snorkeling on a full sunny day probably would be the best..... Thanks again, appreciate all you video's... As alway, Great job and presentation!! 👍😊
The quality of the video even in 4k is blurry :( Cool tips though. I'm going to Thailand in 2 months time. Last time there I was filming with GoPro 7 and underwater shots weren't that great. Everything was "floaty" moving as I was unable to keep still due to the waves while snorkeling. I'll try your tips.
Just FYI: HERO10 4K/30fps & 1080p/60fps have 3DNR which provides for the cleanest and most detailed video. Currently, these are the only resolution/frame rates that have this. Hopefully future updates will bring this to more resolutions/frame rates, but for now, in low light these are the best setting to use.
Make sure to check out some of my diving videos if you haven't already! Enjoy!
recently found the channel... excellent content! Many thanks from the UK!
Please pick me I could really use a GoPro
Extremely helpful, thank you!

I'm glad you like these videos!
This is actually one of the better gopro tips video. I've started to use the lower frame rate for deeper dives. That tip is a game changer.
Awesome tips. Keep up the good work!
Great tips. Thanks
Awesome video!
Very well made video!
Thank you very much!
So no need for the red or so on filter when diving ? That’s cool

Amazing man!!
Going snorkeling in a couple months with my go pro 10. Do you use a waterproof case for it at all??
You provided good content 👍
So..we dont have to buy the red filter?
Thank you for giving useful simple tips, instead of recommending 100 accessories. 👍🏼
Great video! Thank you! Did you encounter the overheating issue with your gopro hero 10 underwater? Was wondering..
So nice that Gopro10 😍

Спасибо за рекомендации! ✊🏻
In my opinion, this is your best video
Great Tips! What white balance do you recommend for about 10 feet deep?
Personally, I'd probably keep my white balance on auto in only 10 feet of water. If you want to adjust it though, the more red exposure you get will make your video look better.
You said 4k & up is great for diving...what about the overheating problem? How long until the camera overheats inside the underwater case?
The only reason you need to worry about overheating is if you're running the camera the whole time. Otherwise, you should be fine.
Do those underwater mounts/sticks float? Thoughts on the GoPro Handler/floaty? Is it not enough extension?
Thanks for this great video! Which Color-Mode you recommend for diving if I dont want to do post-work: Natural or Vibrant?
It's great that you share this video. I always look forward to underwater video moments. If I could swim, I'd like to have videos like that too :))
Hi Raymond, can you expand a bit more on FPS and light availability at depth. Is this related to "shutter speed" to use a still camera analogy? As in higher FPS means lower light entering the GoPro?
With GoPro's, you're able to receive more light if you're filming in a lower frames per second. It isn't much of a difference but it helps.
GoPro hero 10 needs case for underwater?
How do you get rid of the fear of sharks lol
How to take photos in 16:9 aspect ratio? (in RAW). Thanks for a detailed well presented video.
So the gopro10 is waterproof correct? It does not need a waterproof housing?
Can i go 20meters deep with go pro hero 9 or 10???
How does this compare to the BECAM 4K action camera
So what post processing software do you suggest for editing and color correcting underwater video?
😍😍😍😍
Can I shoot without case in salt water?
Yes you can!
Do you place your hero 10 in a waterproof case or use it as is?
I put it into a dive housing

I wish I had a gopro
Also I wouldn’t shoot more than iso 800 when diving deep
These tips can go beyond GoPro Hero 10 and can be applied on GoPro Hero 9 and others as well!
Come back on this comment when you hit 100,000 subs. Every single one of your videos is great!
Are you saying the filters I bought were not a good investment with the hero 10? ☹️ Be honest. It’s ok.
Funny - no overheating under the water
Gopro hero 10 underwater colour is not so good
And please turn off WiFi, GPS and the second display when not needed
oh God you are so cute :D :D :D :D
Great video !
Thanks!
