yeah I definitely hear teldrassil echoes in there starting around 2:55. As my main is a nelf druid it brings back many happy memories. damn that sylvanas burning our tree!
The whispers in the emerald nightmare themes... always found that so spooky. Best zone in Legion ambience wise for my dollar, but my first main was a druid so maybe I'm biased :p
Walking in Val'sharah made me feel like i was not in Legion exp.and that made me feel great. Was Super Amazing zone for leveling to walk you to explore the whole zone, knowing that a satyhr called Xavius was so evil that he coruppted Cenarius in Emerald Dream, turning Ysera into a nightmare dragon and having Malfurion tricked as a prisoner in Darkheat Tichet all this made for me the best lore quest from all legion zones and let's not forgot about Maiev brother and the Black Rook Hold. Nice job,Meisio, you just resuscited the memories from Val'Sharah.👍
What i love about Val'sharah is that is very different from elvish zones of Kalimdor like Teldrasill, Ashenvale etc. but keep that elven tone. The connection between nature and all it's creatures is strong on Val'sharah, as it should be. Blizzard again created such a beautiful music for Val'sharah as always for all the zones. My favorite Legion zone. All my wow main characters were night elves. I love everything about elves and Val'sharah added a lot the lore.
Malfurion said that Val'Sharah is something that look closest to the Emerald Dream as it can be. It's similiar to the Night Elf Forest but BRIGHTER which shows the nature in it's Friendly and Purest form. Where Ashenvale is dark and have shadows implies there might exsist a threat!
This is my hometown. I have started wow in 2015 but wow has dead with end of legion.. Legion is last perfect expasion. I miss that time. Thanks for amazing video meisio :)
@@Meisio I hope that in 30 years time when Blizzard is long dead, a group of fans will take WoW, update it to 2054 graphics, and make it bigger, more immersive, more fun in every way, and we get to play through all our memories again.
When they release WoW Classic: Legion, you should definitely play again. Legion was the best WoW expansion. There was so much story, especially with the Class Order Halls, the zones were beautiful and their music too.
This channel is my new go-to for all things wow nostalgia. This takes me back to some happy memories! Legion was my favorite expansion I ever played (started in cata) and this zone was my favorite alongside suramar
Always a wonderful day when you post. 😊 Thank you for capturing the essence of this beautiful, majestic zone; so many fond memories, even those spent simply perched atop a surface taking in the sights. Val'sharah was truly a sight to behold upon entering it for the first time, and that sense of wonder persists to this day. Thank you again, for the great work as always 😊❤
This is new for me, as I've never played Legion. This video will be the background music of the afternoon today! Thank you for your work, and for bringing us such an audio-visual pleasure! Keep up the good work!
I am getting my zones confused. I thought this zone was entirely underwater. A quick google search... and I think my mistake is understandable. The two zones sound very alike. :-P The zone I was thinking of is Vashj'ir.
I think NOT! Stormrage brothers are born before Sundering back when Azeroth was one big continent until Sargeras split it apart with his big sword thus Continents of Kalimdor, Northrend and what is known today as Eastern Kingdoms began to exist including Broken Isles.
Best I know, this IS the childhood home of Malfurion and Illidan Stormrage, as well as Tyrande Whisperwind. My source is The War of the Ancients trilogy by Richard Knaak. He specifically mentions Val'sharah as being where they live (with Tyrande just becoming of age to take a mate), and adds that Malfurion had a private home in the mountains overlooking Suramar. The three would "go to the city" to hang out (Suramar City). I remember when Suramar was announced as a zone I flipped my lid because it was the first zone in the game I had actually heard of (I read the books before Legion came out) and it looked exactly as I had pictured it while reading. (Val'sharah didn't hit as hard because I did not at the time have a connection to Lord Stormrage). Also, Sargeras didn't split Azeroth (actually the single continent was called Kalimdor). The Well of Eternity did (and painfully enough, you could say the Stormrage brothers did, though if they hadn't, Azeroth would be controlled by the Burning Legion). Malfurion and Illidan worked together to draw on the Demon Soul (or Dragon Soul) and use its power to break apart the spell work turning the Well into a portal that Sargeras could step through. The damage done to the Well combined with the conflicting magics caused an explosion within it that shattered the land...and then the Well collapsed in on itself, causing the Maelstrom.
@@fandomdancer Suramar was supoosed to be nothing but ruins you even run through them with Maiev in warcraft 3 and then blizzard decided to once again retcon their own lore like they've been doing since wow was shat out and then it went really downhill with tbc
How do you record these if Free Far Sight hasn't been updated since Legion Beta? Also, Legion was a really good expansion. Too bad it all came crashing down after.
Hey again! Sorry, I can't share any detail about this :( It's not FFS though. Yes, Legion was the last good expansion in my opinion as well. I am not judging from the artistic point of view though, as there are many beautiful things in BfA and Shadowlands. Salutations! :)

There are so many beautiful zones in this game. So many wonderful memories exploring these areas.
Yes, many of them. I can name at least 15 zones which I like a lot.
P.S.: Welcome to the channel :)
Sometimes one wishes that these places really existed, thanks a lot for the ambience Meisio.
They exist in our minds. Hopefully I'll be able to experience one day a better VR experience. But I am grateful even for this.

Great as always. What about the idea to take a boat-toy and swim across seashores of Azeroth and Draenor? Would be very tranquil video
Cool idea, sounds like 160 hours of work tho 😀

How I wish WoW had decent open-world gameplay, making use of all zones. It`d make me subscribe for eternity.
They are planning a feature where you can properly play all old zones as active content with rewards.
superb arrangement, thank you Meisio!

Hey Kass!
Legen is what made me quit the game after 10 years. Thats when it was clear pvp was broken, nerfed, and killed for good
PvP was broken since WoW 1.0. No balance, flavor of the month, bugs, stupid metas, shitty rewards, long queues. That's WoW PvP since its inception.
