What a breathtaking experience! Not only for the birds & their owners; but, also for every single viewer! The beauty of the macaws is unequalled. The depth of color against the sky is amazingly beautiful! Thanks to everyone involved for sharing your birds, experiences & videos with the rest of us.
Hey Dave & Jamieleigh!! I know y’all just started on your venture for the next 10days but we can’t wait for you to get back home so we can see more videos of Patty and Morgan’s progress😄♥️ However, that being said, I absolutely LOVE all the free flight videos!! Especially the ones shown in slow-mo!! They’re so amazing to watch!! Anyways, hope you guys have a very safe, super fun trip!! Come home soon. We love you!!😍♥️
Hey guys! Fantastic footage Been following you for a little while now, and working each day towards getting my little Eclectus Atlas to freeflight. I love watching your videos and thankyou for sharing your priceless knowledge and your beautiful flock with us!
They have the gift of flight and God hand painted these beautiful creatures that are also incredibly sensitive and smart as hell. I've owned a blue and gold. If they are kept in any sort of captivity this IS what they should be able to do daily....FLY!!!!
It is still just insane to me that they have the opportunity to leave and they return each time. I;m always amazed every time a watch one of your videos on free flight
Jamie and Dave, I would would be absolutely ecstatic if you added a hyacinth and a caique to your personal flock. Those are my two favorites and would love to see you interacting with them! :D
That was wonderful ,, thanx for sharing i wonder if his birds 'alert' him all the time to go freefly like my dog alerts me to go walking we cant say the word walk around my dog and not mean it i cant imagine what all those birds would do when it's time to get out of the house
I picture Chan the Bird Man as the leader of a flock of superhero macaws and he smites evildoers in SF with his flock…whenever he sees the bird signal projected in the night sky.
Сытая закормленная птица на моционе . А по чему бы не помахать крыльями. Птичка красивая, упитанная мне понравилось. :) Водички по пить нужно было по больше птичкам дать.
When free flying 1 macaw at a time just isn’t enough..... get 3. And just for added fun hold another on you with a harness.holding 4 macaws at the same time is a serious talent
The Hyacinths must be captive bred and I bet quite expensive. I didn't even know there were still . hyacinths in the trade, with the exception of really old ones. They're critically endangered in the wilds, so laws about their sale and transportation are quite tight in many places. I wasn't aware you could still get them young like that.
Usually keep them in separate enclosure or discourage nesting behaviors by offering the proper amount of light and sleep as well as not including nesting materials.
Being able to free fly their pet birds is every bird lovers dream... I wish I could do same with my budgies and cockatiels,, but they would just get attacked by crows etc..
@Jamie , could it be a thing that my 11 month old free flight TRAINED (Sorry I always feel the need to put that in caps) flying in the same spot since 3 and a half months could be board with flying in the same spot..he is so scared of crows I'd love to find another person flying macaw in Ireland, do you guys know of anyone ...I do plan another after our trip to UAE, I'll be bringing my harlequin travelling in the same fashion all hook bill birds do on Emirates , I managed to pull it trough the rulers falconer because they fly there birds in cabin and I'm buddies with him on messanger ..so he helped but the only chick that will be available to me will be a green wing so with the whole extra that will bring to travel I'll wait till after our UAE trip but I'm worried he is just board ...I dont want to change the scenery till my telemetry arrives..someone is building me a unit that's normally for birds of prey but there doing harder casing and stronger antina..it has both gps and rfid and a solar battery back up..its why I've weighted rather than get the Marshall unit ..obviously if I do I'll do it trough you..maybe I should just send this in an email...I'm irish I talk a lot..will I email..
dusten zitek Ya better get to work on getting a hawking/falconry license to possess a hawk and that takes two years of training. They aren't pets, unlike parrots, so you can't just go buy one
Wonderful macaws! But their place is not San Francisco or any city in the US. They belong to the South American jungle, their natural habitat. Unfortunately, the Hyacinth Macaw is facing extinction.
What a breathtaking experience! Not only for the birds & their owners; but, also for every single viewer! The beauty of the macaws is unequalled. The depth of color against the sky is amazingly beautiful! Thanks to everyone involved for sharing your birds, experiences & videos with the rest of us.

Love you added slow motion, helped me pick out details. 8:52 size difference. Haven’t finished watching it yet. Lovely location.

Spectacular doesn't even come close to describe these birds in flight.

The hyacinth mcCaws are my favs
The Hyacinths must be captive bred and I bet quite expensive. I didn't even know there were still . hyacinths in the trade, with the exception of really old ones. They're critically endangered in the wilds, so laws about their sale and transportation are quite tight in many places. I wasn't aware you could still get them young like that.
My question is whether or not they are going to be used as a breeding pair in the future?
Ohhhh...you DO have hyacinths. Well that changes everything.
I have a macaw but he never flys and he has all his feathers what can I do!?!?! I keep his free all the time but still no flying
How do you prevent birds of prey from attacking your macaws?
Chan has flown his parrots with Carolin Von Petzholdt
Super
Next time you come to San Francisco I hope you go to telegraph hill and see the famous parrots of telegraph hill and let us know what you think!
I like Rudy and Bella
does chan have a youtube channel?
Not that I know of, he mostly just posts to his facebook page. You can find him there :)
I can't wait until Morgan can do this.
Do Hawks attack parrots? Just asking
Yes they do
I love your videos. How do bird owners manage birds fertility? Do people spay/ neuter pet birds or keep opposite genders seperate

😍
Haw much did your scarlet macaw
Hi
Do you still have chicks? What's the price?

And where were your birds?
BubsyMupsy at home 🏠 we didn’t plan this flight excursion! but we can’t bring them to Bishkek so they’re hanging back this trip.

I wanna get a cockatoo and a hawk and flight with you guys even that you guys are just a parrot group.
dusten zitek Ya better get to work on getting a hawking/falconry license to possess a hawk and that takes two years of training. They aren't pets, unlike parrots, so you can't just go buy one
No Brasil morre centenas e ate milhares de araras e papagaio por ano
Any body sale hysincth macaw
I like you
If you still have those birds breed them you could save them from extinction
They're not really close to extinction at all, only vulnerable
I feel bad that Europe and Africa invaded America. Respect to native Indians.
