    This is better now than when it was new and very roomy. Beautiful plane and as you said it takes time to get it to this condition. The new owner will enjoy this for sure. Thanks Rich

    The first thing I noticed was with the camera on the wing, the wing was smooth as glass, no divots, rivet heads, weather damage. As I would expect new to look like, and that continued to everything you could see. The seats, and leather wrapped yoke(s) was a nice touch also. Very nice example!! Thanks for the look Rich!! Peace --gary

    Can't get more complicated and expensive piston engines than a high displacement geared turbo charged piston engines to maintain and overhaul.

      @@GreatNorth104It is simply common knowledge. The 421 was expensive to operate. Though this is a beautiful example of one. The right fractional contract on a Citation will cost much less than the ownership and operating costs of a C421, provided you're doing a reasonably low number of hours (I'd guess at about 50 to 150 hours a year, but there are many, many, variables).

    I am curious as to why the useful load is so high. If memory serves, this plane is able to carry about 400 pounds more than a typical 421C. How did they get the airplane in that kind of condition to carry the extra weight? Thanks!

    • @FlyingwithRich
      @FlyingwithRich  25 днів тому +1

      Gross weights on 421s went up over the years and VGs increase GTOW, often with interior strip and paint and avionics upgrades airplanes get lighter.
