My dead uncle who served in korean war,he was a 2Lt in the philippine army... he once said korean war was just a product of international politics of cold war... restore the glory of one korea!

    • @lisabertolucci5908
      @lisabertolucci5908 6 років тому

That's dumb. You dead uncle doesn't think much of Koreans. The Korean war started because the Koreans in the North decided to invade the South WITHOUT any reason OR provocation. It was just their OWN decision. And they were/are Koreans

    • @breaseroto8552

      Lisa Bertolucci
That's dumb. There was a reason to invade. It was unification and to drive out democracy from Korean peninsula. And before the war, the Soviet union and China agreed to invade and participate in the war and sent their army. Because they communism countries didn't want a democracy country be located too close to them. They were afraid of USA which is in the South Korea. Moreover, the reason Korea was divided into two is the product of international cold war from the start.

Trump would take credit for creating the universe if he could. If it wasn't for President Moon Jae-in taking a friendly stance towards unification, Kim Jing Un would not risk negotiating with South Korea or the U.S. Without the fear of assassination, Kim Jong Un is more willing to negotiate.

Then why did South Korea have talks of peace with North Korea even though tensions with the U.S. were high? Why did North Korea threaten to nuke the U.S. when it was against China's interests? Don't underestimate the resolve of a nation, Vietnam fought off both the U.S. and China to earn its freedom.

    • @luckychops2162

Stranger, in both cases it was China's unwillingness to have an American proxy on their border that continued the situation. Make no mistake North Vietnam would have been conquered by America just like North Korea was if China was not their neighbor. Probably would have been as good at administrating it as they where Iraq or Afghanistan, but conquest and administration are two different things.

As a German I'm glad that our nation could overcome this very problem back in 89'. I was born 11 years after German-Reunification, so I can't imagine what it was
like living in the divided Germany, but all I hear about life in the GDR sounds very very similar to life in NK just "only" 85% as bad, and all I hear is the immense feeling of happiness and gratitude from the people who experienced the reunification and I hope that the Korean people will someday be able to experience what the German people experienced in 89'.

Unification is a hope Koreans hold dearly in their hearts but not very realistic anytime soon. They have been divided for so long and especially the with North Korea being isolated from the world that it will take North Koreans probably decades or more to assimilate back into the global community even if they were no longer isolated. Many NK defectors to South Korea find it very difficult to assimilate to their new life even with help from the government. The first steps of denuclearization is a step forward but only a step. Kim Jung Un needs to give his people hope for a better future to stay in power. Forced isolation will not be sustainable. Isolated and undereducated people who do not understand the world cannot compete or survive. Trying to lead a population of isolated people who do not understand or know the world is not sustainable. The global world and technology is changing faster than ever, which means isolated North Koreans will be left even farther behind unless changes are made. Denuclearization and humanitarian change needs to be verified before offering rewards to North Korea. Past support only helped to increase NK nuclear capabilities.

Yes it's possible, but only if both Koreas agree on it. One way to do it is to let the people in both Koreas vote for it. UN tried that just before the Korean war started, but at that time North (backed up by Soviets) declined. I don't think Kim is just yet ready for this, but then again I never imagined live to see him actually crossing the border to South and shaking hands with their President.

Reunification is not the vocabulary of Kim Jung On in my opinion. His position as Leader is important to him being bowed everywhere he goes. He would probably lay down his power once he got older but it's not a guarantee.
It depends on his KIDS or his WIFE if they don't want the significant LEADERSHIP POSITION anymore. But for now, FRIENDSHIPS OF BOTH SIDES IS THEIR PRIORITY.

Why was Korea divided when Japan was defeated in World War II?
The responsibility of the Korean division is in Japan.
Korea suffered tremendous suffering because of the division. Koreans have had to part with their loved ones and have waged war on each other. Through this meeting, we hope that peace will be settled and unified.

WTF? Japan had nothing to do with that. The USA and the USSR were responsible for that are you insane? US military bases are in Japan AND S.Korea for a reason.

Incredible... Koreans find any reason to blame Japan for their problems.
Also, Korea was ANNEXED by Japan upon agreement with Korea's leaders. It was never a colony. Use the correct terminology.

One of the characteristics of the Japanese is that it does not refute the points and attracts new themes.I do not think you represent the average Japanese intellect and conscience.None of the so-called 'right wingers' in any country is wise and intelligent.
I do not want to talk to anyone with prejudice and racial ideas anymore. It is your freedom to continue to respond to my writing. But I will not read it anymore.

Look up the history of the tiny peninsula in these 2000 years! How long was Korea united? Except it belonged to Great Imperial Japan, only very short period of time it remained the unification. You better think that the split situation is quite normal for Koreans. Practically speaking, none of the Koreans want to pay for the North Korean refugees. That's it! Forget about it! All they could do along the unification is begging money to Japan.

Have you ever seen a locus fly, the flight pattern it takes. that's kind of what CZECH does to you vision poles eye rods or whatever, creating a kind of zig zag reointation of alignment Identification. with (pivots) a frame that pivots or folds. Its opens up room for "tagging" while misusing tradiational space allowment. (errors). TGB it can be connect to the whole world, I have in places, connections (bigger older than technology) along with electrical exhaust as I call it. For example, I can be walking through a crowded street, know a airplane is 3000 feet above me behind me, know its there turn to look at it, Connection sensitivity, but use maintained best. What that means is that connection is there for everybody, its happening as actualy event. I will tell you I have a hard time catching a jet plane, with my eye sight a , I can feel it look a the direction I suspect it to be in after doing weird Doppler sensitive math, then I hear the sound afterwards. I associate the first and looking for sight of it with the feeling of sound hearing it afterwards recording and memory to develope a sense for the use to beTGB. Its more of a fun little thing see if catch in a sonar bubble to case it up. (use the energy) TGB pretty cool stuff I guess that mite be the amish super power side of me. TGB

Its power to move zones, make relays. (how many howses ears hear that roar, that's all connected) all the "lines" make anchors, out of old trees or pumps out the underground gofer holes, a breathing system "growing" I can reach anywhere.
but you no whats cooler... A bird chirping , have you ever heard a bird chirp in your house from 100 yards away outside? How does that little tiny thing that little ball of energy, small amount of energy penetrate a brick wall, installation,tv, music sounds, a bird chirp (a real one) vs a loud roaring static jet... . A tiny bird or flock of crows , barn swallows, can create a zone. But they all work together. One has flown into my window in awhile, you can the u.s. airforce for that, saving the little birds. TGB the way I mean it

there like zone mainance... (you see them being sold "deals') the jets and war planes to other countries in the news. Say a country is about to be built up ( or gain a tourist route) they most likely will be getting a Few TGB jets, There are lots of circumstances I demand before I influence jets sales, that's a lot of money mullah, I could save a planet with. the way that I mean it

Traci Robarchek - I guess what I was thinking was if S. Korea and N. Korea. unite over a period of time what type of government will the united country install? If it is the S. Korean democracy them i would assume the relationship with the U.S. would remain somewhat similar. I believe and I may be wrong but the U.S. has supplied S. Korea with nuclear capabilities. If they continue to have the nuclear capability and I was to assume Kim will have a very powerful position in the government. Then what? As a highly ranked government official he would still have the ability to make decisions regarding nuclear deployment. Just wondering. All said and done and putting this idea a side this reunion of South and N. Korea is a beautiful thing. I hope the world will use this as a example and begin healing. The fact that the U.S. and N. Korea are meeting in peace is something I have been waiting for. My dad died in Vietnam. I hated them for so long but as time went on I learned to forgive and what is happening in Korea is a miracle. ✌
