I was going down my mountain highway one day and met a Toyota pickup and something strange looking wiggling down the highway on the side of the pickup, nozzle still in tank! lol I was heading to harps grocery and the first pump was missing the hose, they were headed to the pump with out of order sign.! Lmao 😢
aTrippyFarmer ta works well, then put colored ribbon on the bottom and ties a small knot for a bit of weight! Just gotta be careful it doesnt get caught in the tarp brackets!
If that’s what you call demoted i wish you would get demoted more often😁 get some more cool shots. And happy birthday to your grandpa, we all hope to still be going strong at 86 💪
That would be awesome, but I would have to get his permission. We are a completely separate operation, but we are located within a few miles of each other.
I would like to see what kinda operation he runs your lucky you have farming on both sides of your family .I did have farming on both sides no its all memories and its all gone.I envy you love your videos and you living the life I always wanted .But the videos keep the dream alive for me.Keep up the good work and educational videos.
I totally think a trade olympics would be sweet! I did hay as kid when I wasn’t digging holes for my family, as in I did a little cutting, some more tedding, occasionally raked but most rode on a wagon stacking small squares for an evil dictator that didn’t believe in a hay conveyor, but I digress, lol. I never found myself in a position where I had to back upper a hay wagon more then 10 feet probably for the longest time but the farmer I worked for would back a wagon hooked to the bailer into his shop often and made it look easy. When I was older and had left my family’s company to do commercial and heavy civil excavation though it always seemed like I was the one they would send to pick up wagons of mulch hay because I worked with this same dude at 3 different companies over a decade and he always told people I grew up on a farm so they just assumed I could do it, lol, I can, I just have to pull ahead 5 feet foot ever 10 I back up;) I do think stuff like trailer backing, pouring fluids without using a funnel, picking up the most stuff with one scoop of a grain shovel and stacking the most bales of hay on a pickup truck, or who can build the most stable death trap as I like to think of it, would be very entertaining to watch:-)
Thanks for sharing. There are so many neat talents and tricks that people pick up from decades of working with heavy equipment and in manual labor. It would be neat to showcase it.
I had a pair of red wings that lasted 4+ years. I shouldn’t have ever switched away. I make use of my allotted 10 minutes in the combine... you’ll have to pry the steering wheel away from the boss!
It’s hard to make comparisons if you cannot recognize the relativity of life. I hope that some day my successors look back on the technology of my time with the same awe that I see in my grandfather’s generation. This farm started with horses, so anything is an upgrade!
@@aTrippyFarmer only down where they deer were. was just joking about the 200bpa. I just like the way you do your filming. and a quote my grandpa also said was if you are going to the coffee shop get there early before all the big number are taking.

We haven’t made much use of the wagons in a few years, but they are stout. We also haven’t used the shivers bin in a long time-maybe 10 years. It would be a little slow for our current harvesting capacity, depending on the wetness.
You're not strapping down your head in case you hit a bump, you're strapping it in case you have a crash or blow a tire. That way, it most likely wont hurt anyone else. The same goes for anything that you strap down. And non-tight straps are useless. (Im an EMT, and ive seen people get killed over this. Including the road crews who pick up dropped items)
Something settled in transit to make the strap come loose. We would never intentionally leave it like that for travel. Other people’s safety aside, we have a lot of money invested into the Draper, so we don’t want it to be involved in a mishap. Thanks for the insight!
@@aTrippyFarmer Oh, i dident catch that, sorry about my slight rudeness :p No worries, as you know, safety is important - both in your and my proffesion ;)
Thank You for keep the election off your channel. If it wasn't for the news on my Facebook I would shut it down until it is over. I use to love owning a diesel pickup but because of the DEF NO WAY. When I bought a tractor to help me around the farm I kept it small so DEF for it.
I love Chet and Eric they are very entertaining can’t decide which is funnier.
The Minnesota accents are what I enjoy. It’s neat to see other farms around the country. Thanks for watching!
Great demonstration of the conflict between the combine operator and the cart operator. That is the 100% truth of how it goes! 😂
Yes it doesn’t help when the combine driver is your dad...
Great channel.. You are correct. I am watching to see farming.. Not politics. Thank you for that
Of course. Thanks for watching!
I wish your grandfather a happy birthday.
Let's get some movement behind your Olympics idea! I think it's a great idea!
Happy Birthday Grand Dad.
Nice to see you give credit to your sister and everyone for the jobs they do.
Everyone is important. If I was the only one doing anything of value, we wouldn’t get anything done... 🤣
Happy Birthday Grandpa !!
Happy birthday granddad.
Dad scooping up the rare beans - cab beans.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!!!!!
Happy Happy Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!
Happy b day
I totally agree on news Andy. I don't watch CNN or Fox News. Only CNBC
It can be exhausting!

I never comment but I had too! I was really pleased when you had your sisters back!
Thanks. I am proud of every part that makes our farm go round!
Happy birthday to your grandpa!!!
The auger facing crops sent me
You would be surprised at how often it happens! It’s a pain.
I love this work
Thanks for the compliment!
We hang a rope down from the auger to line up with the side of the trailer! Then no spills or mess
That’s a great idea, but, if I did that, I wouldn’t have any excuses for my accidents!

Thanks for the kind words. It still amazes me that he is spry and capable on the farm. He could probably whoop my butt!
Can you do a video on your grandfathers farm some day and tell him Happy Birthday.

Really been happy with my red wing boots. The hold up really well. I’d be happy to come run that combine for you so you didn’t have to lol

I bet you grandpa thought his first combine with a quick detach head and factory A/C was as luxurious than you think that S670 is

Try visiting Cabella's Outdoor for some new boots. My father bought some there and the shoes lasted 6 years.
I’d be ecstatic to get 6 years out of some boots!
Glad u mention about politics who ever likes or follows this Channel is about one thing farming
I can barely figure out farming... how can I explain something even more confusing!

Man, where did you get your White Grain truck, because we had an auction several years ago and it looks EXACTLY like a truck we had lol
