    I think you are doing a disservice to people not saying who it was that did the bad job. All scammers and any such like should be called out. Because in the end all evil comes to the light and nothing is hidden. Anyway your farm is so awesome!!! I love it

    You can do it! I grew over 200 fruit trees and plants in 50 x25 ft backyard. I made wine and jellies with the fruits. That was in the Florida Keys. In Marathon to be more exact. You can do it and will be very productive and successful!

    Keep track of the fig varieties that survived that kind of neglect. Those would be great to recommend to people who are not confident in their gardening skills or who have remote properties with no running water.

      Absolutely. There’s always a bright side to everything. 😀

    Dude I really respect your honesty and openness more than anything. That's my number one favorite quality in a business. If you're open about things going wrong, that says a lot about how much customers can trust you.

    Thank you a year ago I bought randomly a lsu purple fig, Chicago hardy fig, Celeste fig seedling and olympian fig and they all survived minus 20 zone 6/5 this winter outside. Even the lsu purple fig and Celeste seedling survived. Hopefully everything will be ok with you.

    I believe in you, Chad. We all have setbacks but you can bounce back.

    Where's the diversity a see a handful at most.
    Seeds and trees don't top unless you like maintenance trees.

      We grow almost every cold hardy fruiting plant we are capable of getting our hands on. It’s difficult to get any more diversity. 😀

    I love your videos! Did you make a year long growing techniques?

      Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m sorry, I’m not understanding the question. Could you please clarify for me?

      @PlantFanatics for example, how you prune your trees before winter, how you mulch. When you uncover, fertilization, pinching, in otherwords, a year in the life cycle of one of your fig trees.

    I am always hesitant to trust professionals, doctors, lawyers, it doesn't matter. I could research a situation and learn to do it myself for what it costs to hire a person who claims to be a professional. And then I have both the product and fruit of my labors and an education and experience to help others. SOAKER HOSES!!!

      Unfortunately some things have to be done by licensed professionals for the city to approve it. People will take advantage of you left and right

    Do you need wasps to fertilize the figs?

    • @PlantFanatics
      @PlantFanatics  Рік тому +1

      Certain types, yes. And it’s also a specific type of wasp. We don’t grow them because the wasp is not in our region
