I work as a police officer in this exact neighborhood. It's very difficult to solve a murder unless we get it on surveillance cam or eye witness by someone very trustworthy. Everybody is outside looking at the dead body on the ground....I mean the whole block. Little kids with their parents and everything like it's a show. The second the detectives pull up the street clears out, porch lights go off, and suddenly know one is home when you knock on the door. great job bro! keep it going please. how about brain blades, Rae Corruth , Tommy Kane, Hubert Thompson, Anthony Wayne-Smith, Jovan Blecher just a few i could think of.
This is my take on this. Marvin was a quiet and disciplined man who was attached to his roots. He enjoyed being around people from his home town and even opened up some businesses there. Problem was, when Marvin came across thugs, that had bad intentions for him, he resorted to street justice. I understand that this may be common practice in the hood, and that there is a kind of street-code that you don't snitch to police, it does not align well with the justice system. I do not see Marvin as a bad person after seeing this, as I think he felt he was defending his life, but I think he made bad decisions.
I remember when all this happened. I thought that an eye witness had described Marvins hands as “the fists of a ninja”. Absolutely love Marvin Harrison as a Colt. My favorite WR of all time by far. Growing up in the 90’s and 2000’s watching him and Peyton is the reason I love football today. If Joseph Addai wouldn’t have destroyed his leg during a block I think he would have played a few more seasons.
His kid played little league football for a team in my neighborhood, we’d go watch the young kids that we knew play, Marv would set up his tripod and camera on the complete opposite side of the field and record his kid play. He almost never came near the crowd. Just stayed to himself. No no thought it was weird, we just knew he didn’t like crowds and attention.
So you don't think a person shooting 2 guns in the middle of the street not in self defense and hitting innocent people and a baby almost got killed! I get some of what you are saying but I stop short of saying g it cause of this.
@@janeparks1627 Calm down Jane, not all of us grew up in safe neighborhoods. If you knew who Marvin Harrison is, you would know that he is not the type to act "foolish." If anything, Harrison is the working person's hero. He kept his head down and let his work speak for him. The epitome of the quiet professional, but not to be walked on! You know.... what all those Conservatives pretend to be, with their "Don't tread on me flags."
Man regardless what he went thru off the field, that doesn't effect how he was one of the best to do it at wide receiver. Nobody could or can sideline catch a pass like him. Real shit
Wow! I cannot believe I have never heard about this story. Interesting video, bro. Keep up the great work, and keep the videos coming. You have definitely earned yourself a sub, btw. Thanks for the great content!
Exactly, TO had no out side of football troubles, but they used the "diva" thing against him to keep him from being a first ballot HOF like he deserved. People can say what they want about TO, but you can bet your last penny that he's going to give you 110% and then more on game day. I mean, the man made the doctors cleared him for the Eagles Superbowl against the Patriots, and had well over 100 receiving yards that game.
No he totally plagiarized (read almost word for word) an article from GQ dated Feb, 1, 2010 written by Jason Fagone, titled “The Dirtiest Player”. This guy, Mikerophone,... He doesn’t deserve a penny. Check it out yourself. It’s almost verbatim.
As a huge Colts fan, I watched every game Marvin played in and read most of the infrequent interviews he did over his career in the local media. What I can tell you is that never before had I seen a report so difficult to believe about a celebrity. It really seemed contrary to everything I had seen from Marvin. I wish he had chosen to support his hometown neighborhood from afar. It seemed to me that hanging with the wrong crowd brought him down to their level and put him in bad situations forcing bad decisions. Despite some fairly damning circumstantial evidence, it's difficult for me not to give him the benefit of the doubt. That's just not the person I thought I knew throughout his football career. It's sad how his legacy has been tarnished by this.
It would be even more amazing if he was able to chamber the cartidges shown in the video with the handgun at 16:00. Those are rifle cartridges...they look like 7.62x39...for an ak-47
At first I thought it was going to be he was involved in some under belly stuff. However isn’t this exactly what most of get tired of millionaire athletes fleeing the hood only to lecture the rest of us? I think it’s solid of him to go back and invest. I still gave you a like
I remember thinking badly about Marvin Harrison. I watched him at his most unhinged---as, he was absolutely composed while filled with adrenaline on a public level... Dude tried to set him up....
He got he deserved. These are the people who are making our neighborhood unsafe. He just messed with the wrong person that day. Bravo Marvin for standing up for yourself and your place of business!!
@@Brandon_093no he's a killer not a murder. The Bible say l shall not murder. Killing a treat is not murder to keep you safe . On any angle you look at it. Self Prevention is the number one rule in life.
I understand murder shouldn't have been the answer but the guy clearly had an issue with Marvin and continuously showed up at his places of business to cause trouble. Likely jealousy. So he asked for trouble and he got it. Unfortunately it ended his life. I'm born and raised in downtown Indianapolis and grew up on Marvin Harrison. Most underrated player of all-time imo. I remember when this all happened. Crazy
Literally saw him yesterday outside his garage at 25th and Thompson. He was on a bmx bike rolling a blunt. Still looks like he’d give any corner in the league trouble.
Years ago in Hawaii during the Pro Bowl week a friend of Harrison and him were involved in an incident with a teenaged fan. Police were called. There was only reported in the Press for one day. I was in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl. There was no follow up reporting on the incident.

I used to see him, all of the time. He always kept it one hundred percent, real and fair. Escalation was not his thing.

UGHHHHH WHY DO WE HAVE TO WAIT nice vid on ab btw
Clearly this victim was a thorn in the side of Marvin Harrison's business.
Bro, this was on point.. music, storyline, bRoll, keep these up you’ll be going to the top soon kid!
😂.. Y'all are foos. 😂
He's still alive though

I met the guy and he's quick and silent. Doesn't like attention from people.

Joe addai was horrible. I've been salty that the colts drafted him over MJD
Cotton_eyed_ Jim we should have never traded Edgerrin James.
@@cotton_eyed_jim2767 Addai ran for 1,000 yards in his first 2 seasons before injuries really took effect on his career
Joseph Addai was a solid running back and perfect within the Colts system! I loved watching him and Dominic Rhodes
James was nice man I couldnt believe we traded him too
Great video! Love your mini documentaries
It’s always the quiet ones...
Dont go to school tomorrow 🙂
Hella quiet, gotta watch the quiet ones 😂😂😂
Txnii faaaaacts!
That’s what George Carlin said it’s always the quiet ones you gotta watch
First thing I thought.
Good on Harrison for standing his ground to a jealous bully.
Everything about this makes me respect Marvin even more.
Moral of the story, don't act stupid.
Exactly play stupid games win stupid prizes.
I feel Marv gtta handle ya bizzz better you than me especially if im mindin my bizness
So you don't think a person shooting 2 guns in the middle of the street not in self defense and hitting innocent people and a baby almost got killed! I get some of what you are saying but I stop short of saying g it cause of this.
"Keep campaigning for foolishness....YOUR GONNA GET ELECTED"
Terrell Owens was a diva. However, he was involved in far fewer conspiracies to murder his enemies, to be fair.

@@clay9333 he left out that the dead guy was suing marvin for medical bills and pain and suffering
Nobody cares

Seems pretty cut and dry: fat man pushed him to his limit and Harrison had no choice! It’s only sad we limit others to deal with their own problems

“ holding two guns in each hand” damn he could shoot 4 guns at once! Amazing
It would be even more amazing if he was able to chamber the cartidges shown in the video with the handgun at 16:00. Those are rifle cartridges...they look like 7.62x39...for an ak-47
my bad. apparently they are for this gun. I've never seen necked down ammo like that for a handgun.

At first I thought it was going to be he was involved in some under belly stuff. However isn’t this exactly what most of get tired of millionaire athletes fleeing the hood only to lecture the rest of us? I think it’s solid of him to go back and invest.

I remember thinking badly about Marvin Harrison. I watched him at his most unhinged---as, he was absolutely composed while filled with adrenaline on a public level...
Dude tried to set him up....
