Guys that's my younger sister. I'm her immediate elder brother. I have been reading the comments and I am overwhelmed by the love from all over the world ♥️. The entire family is proud of her. Also, the hilarious comments about her name are welcomed. There's a special reason why she was given that name. It has got nothing to do with her not being proud of her Kenyan origin. Our day-to-day language whether she's here or in Japan is Luo. Cheers 😊

I love her, she is so open minded and fun! I find the kids the funniest in Japan because kids say what they see and they don't beat round the bush. I'm from Eswatini and married to my Japanese wife from Nagoya. Once on the train a kid told her mother that I looked very strange. I did not understand much Japanese then but my wfie told me that the mother had replied "Yes" to the kid. Fast forward a few months later when I was alone on the train visiting the Toyota museum there was a groupd of primary school kids on the train with their teacher. I think they were going on a trip somewhere. Most of the kids sat far away from me, but two of the boys sat a bit closer to me. Along the way they kept on talking to each other in low voices and occassionally glancing at me. I knew that I was the subject of their discussion. Finally they plucked up the courage and came up to me and asked where I was from. I told them them and we had a few pleasant exchanges. I also asked them where they were going and they told me. It was nice. I think those two boys are going places because they are curious and are not shy to ask.

warpnin3 Margaret Thatcher was a racist supremacist who openly supported apartheid in South Africa. She also hated blue collar working class people destroying many working communities with her policies. On top of that she was also homophobic thinking gay people deserved to die of AIDS, so did nothing to stop its spread and and was above all an imperialistic warmonger who did not care so long as lives lost were not white. The world is well rid of that Jezebel.

I happened to be a JICA trainee in the 90s at Hachioji Kokusai Kenshu Senta; I am not sure if it still exists. I really enjoyed life at that time because after three months of intensive Japanese Language I masterered the spoken part of the language, and I could navigate the streets of Tokyo in all social spots. I found Japanese boys and girls to be very receptive and very friendly if you talk to them in their language. At that time I always had to initiate the conversation by just a simple phrase like- sumimaseni, anata wa do desuka? watashi no namae wa Serekwa desu; Tanzania kara Kimashita....., and I ended up making a ton of friends even from as far places such as Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Kobe and Nagasaki by just meeting them in various social spots in Tokyo. Most boys befriended me because they thought I can make it easy for them to hook up with girls but I don't know why girls befriended me. Life was very enjoyable

Lerumo a lot of black people are ignorant about white people just like Margaret thatcher, and even if they know, they don't have any pride in themselves to refrain from giving their children a right-wing extremist name, who hated black people. Many are enamored by white people. I am so embarrassed of these people. The same way they embrace white jesus, is the same way they see white people. No amount of academic education can cure them.

Michael Hayes In Africa a child is given an African name and they are also given a western name.
In Trevor Noah's book, Born A Crime, he says that he knew many people called Hitler. He explains that many parents may not have had a western education and so know very little about western historical figures. For this reason, they will often choose a name because they know the historical figure held a position of power, but know little else about them.
