Im not a christian, but I am prolife.
I was adopted AT BIRTH, fortunate enough to be raised by an awesome family. The idea of being aborted instead has haunted me *several times* . Robbing a human life of even the chance to live even with another family waiting with open arms for them is abhorent and I wont stand for it.
Thank you to all adoptive parents, your compasion is something ive witnessed first hand.

I’m adopted as well. You sound dumb asf. It’s not life that’s should be valued. You just feel some type of way because you’re adopted let it go. Actually face the facts. Instead of especially listening to idiots like Charlie Kirk and the pastor. You might as well be Christian because you have the same level of iq as them. A grasshopper

@kristal3580 You shouldn't randomly quote scripture out of context. This is the Psalm Jesus quoted from the cross and doesn't copy and paste into this debate.

@@rodney8075I don't quite see the problem here with taking the verse out of context. I don't think that's the case at all. The comment in question is simply quoting the scripture in relation to the video's topic on abortion. I totally agree with you that Psalm 22 is speaking partially about Christ's crucifixion and verse 10 in particular is speaking about his conception and birth. But, I disagree that it's being taken out of context. In fact, verse 10 is a great scripture that proves the value of life even while it is in the womb especially since it specifically (in context) refers to the life of Jesus.

2 Kings 15:16 - Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
Numbers 31:17 - Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

Matthew 2:16-18 - Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. It's basically cognitive dissonance that pro-choice people have to do in order to fool themselves into believing they are not murdering innocent babies. Life starts at conception, end of.
"Bodily autonomy" is such a stupid argument. If you follow it to it's logical conclusion it means you'd be happy to murder an innocent baby all the way up until 39 weeks and 6 days just because.

I definitely think Charlie knew what he was doing here. He knew he could've "won" by defining terms and staying on topic, but he also knew that most people - like these girls - dont build their viewpoints on logic and critical thinking. They build them on emotional arguments and propaganda slogans that reinforce those emotions. So he decided to take those emotional arguments head on to show that all of those arguments are false and built on lies, whereas the real emotional argument lies in letting a child live.

There is a growing movement of young people coming to faith and wanting a more conservative monogamous relationship and life style. The current secular world view has not given the answers that young people are looking for (even though the secular world view said that it had every answer than religions had... which is clearly doesn't).
I have hope for the future. I am 24 and came to Christian Faith about a year ago and my mental out look on life has done a complete 180 for the better. Christians (and other faiths) and those with conservative view points aren't having abortions. Give it 20 years and the political needle with shift heavily in the right, child protecting direction.

Pro-abortionists would never allow it because they know it would change the minds of almost all women considering the hiring a "doctor" to execute their baby. I use pro-abortionist instead of pro-choice for this very reason. If they were really pro-choice then they would want women to have all relevant information before making that choice. No one can make a good choice with limited information. This is why they prevented Texas from mandating ultrasounds before choosing execution. They knew that many if not most women would choose life if they saw the baby they are about to pay someone to kill. They are not pro-choice. They love abortion. They celebrate it. They brag about it. Disgusting.

I carried and gave birth to six children. My second pregnancy ended with a 90% abruption, thus an emergency caesarean section. I carried four children after that, the last pregnancy the baby was born with no complications for the child. He was perfect. I however continued to hemorrhage and was placed in a chemical coma for 6 weeks. During that time I had several strokes and 11 surgeries. I underwent dialysis. When they brought me out of the coma the neurologist was certain I had brain damage. He was wrong. I returned to college 4 years later and earned a BSN. The doctor that delivered my 6th child encouraged me to abort during my second appointment. I did not. Was it worth it? YES!!!

      He will not always accuse,
      nor will he harbor his anger forever;
he does not treat us as our sins deserve

It's not just sick, it's truly horrific. Grotesque. Heartbreaking. This is why a particularly rabid hardcore bigot looked to her fellow leftist bigots in Germany when she founded planned parenthood. This is why Nazis looked to Margaret Sanger for inspiration for their final solution. This is why Margaret Sanger said at a wives of the KKK rally that "we don't want the word to get out that we want to exterminate the black population". Leftists have been hardcore bigots and sociopathic eugenicists since Karl Marx prescribed this horrific unAmerican ideology and it(leftism) has resulted in well over a hundred million deaths across the planet over the last century. The wanton taking of innocent lives is indeed immoral, regardless of who the victim is, even if the victim is your own son or daughter, even if you sincerely believe he or she is disposable. This is beyond sick, it is nothing short of pure unadulterated evil.

They are entirely, morally wrong on multiple fronts, but I find it fascinating that they were accurately able to pin Charlie on the guilt of the mother for her part in the abortion. A mother freely taking herself and her child to the abortionist is just as morally culpable as the abortionist and should be held liable legally as, would the abortionist, in a just society. I love Charlie, but he is inconsistent on this point, and they called him on it.

  • @Bertoleyus

Kirk did good here, but he failed on 2 key points. The first is when a girl pointed out that women ARE STILL GETTING ABORTIONS in states that have banned them using chemicals, and they are doing it legally, and Kirk says "I don’t want dwell on that", and when they again called him out for his inconsistency, he said "women are victims". This takes all responsibility off women as some sort of protected class, instead of holding them to account.
The reason these women kept going around in circles is because THEY KNOW they're wrong, and they don’t care. They're obfuscating and distracting from the truth. They are only trying to emotionally blackmail you out of your position.

And my friends where young, often younger than I was, and made nowhere near the articulate responses as Charlie Kirk did here. But after these chats, I would go away trying to find better arguments to beat them, find my mistakes and try to do better. But what really happened was I would not find a good argument and I slowly changed my opinions.
My closest and longest friend today is a pro-life conservative, that I argued with quite a bit in those days, but now we can laugh at how misguided I was, and we agree on most every issue now days. One day on the advice of my pastor's wife I decided to look up what an abortion looks like and that video changed my outlook. I watched as the baby tried to get away, he was squirming, and I saw him being torn limb by limb. I was so heartbroken. A baby is not just a clump of cells in the womb and we have become so cold that our society would actually advocate for this violence towards the most vulnerable human beings. Women absolutely have enough information to know abortion is wrong, regardless of whatever their doctor says. A 5 year old knows there is a baby in a woman's uterus when she is pregnant. it’s like you didn’t hear Kirk’s response. 90% of women do not see an ultrasound before an abortion. there is no informed consent… clearly seeing as how even those women didn’t know that life begins at conception. you will never get anywhere trying to penalize the women.

It seems to me that, until you have full informed consent, it's needlessly sticky trying to punish the women. Once there are informed consent laws and no one is without excuse, then it would absolutely be acceptable.
Until then, you and I both know that the woman has some concept of what she is doing with an abortion, but we would never be able to definitively prove the degree of her knowledge.

Regarding women being victims 90% of the time is just wrong. Charlie is wrong about that. His point that women have been lied to is correct but the answer is simple. All abortion must be outlawed with criminalization for everyone who was willfully (not coerced) involved. Including the mother and the father who paid for it. The LAW then becomes “informed consent”.

So following that abortion will never be illegal. I'm not saying be anti-women, I'm saying be pro making abortion illegal, and show people the gospel in response.

I understand that this channel critiques how people discuss the issues of our day and brings a scriptural perspective to the topic. It's major focus seems to take on the fair rules of discussion and setting defining terms and making points and counterpoints, and listening. This particular subject matter is one thing discussed among Christians, but towards people who don't claim any real faith, this "discussion" I am saddened does not really impact any of the young women who would kill thier own child. You can talk facts all day with the hard hearted that are convinced of their indoctrination. It is difficult to pour new wine into old wineskins. Those young women don't care what Charlie Kirk thinks, because they don't think he cares. Ultimately, the body of Christ must live by their faith and set example how to love. There was nothing in that conversation that was emotionally moving that would make these women love a child growing within them to become selfless. It was cold, calculated counterpoint. Kirk was passionless about the wonder of potential that a child can be. He makes it so impersonal, it greived me to watch the opportunity slip away. The young girls are clearly so self centered , so selfish and concerned with just pleasure, only a living example of real love, sacrificial and giving selflessly can impact their hearts. Not just a fact sheet about how much death abortion brings, as that simply doesn't shock them at all
Society is so calloused. These are all unbelievers. You cannot expect them to live up to standards as living in the Kingdom of God. They are worldly and wicked and evil.
Only a call to not be murderous and viscous killers of innocent life can possibly begin to dent their hard hearts. Christ forgives. We must keep that in mind and pray for them and Charlie. He's not wrong, but that podcast is a place of talk, no action. Real discipleship is lived out. It's not put over a microphone and sat around a table. It's bringing young boys/girls to an orphanage. Show the tragedy to them. Bring them to someone's home who had an abortion who has spent years regretting the decision. Be spending time with your own kids and raising them to respect life and consequences. Talk is cheap.
