£26 for a fully serviced pitch and utility block is great value .
Yes really good price for UK. With 3 children you could be charged for individuals and the dog. Brilliant site. You can park overnight in the car park in Gloucester motorway services (same group as TBay) and you get voucher for breakfast as well. Yes food is fantastic but as you say expensive but locally produced.

Tebay was always my favourite place to stop when I was travelling to Northumberland to see my mum regularly. Also Gloucester services on the M5
I spy with my little eye ... a storage container full of stuff you have lived without for a few years ... yet you fell for the 'we'll just sort it out quickly', only to find memories jumping out of every box!
I like how you are teasing people with a glimpse of an ultrasound scan (Teddy was it?) - great for getting loads of comments!
I first heard of Tebay services from the auto shenanigans you tube channel - a dry humoured chap called Jon visited all of the service stations in a series of videos ... then did a series on the motorways, with an episode for each! I think you might like the humour - it was also quite interesting set of facts

It will settle her down & stop her chewing her bed. ...as long as she has a bowl of water & Loads is Toys. She should be fine. She is a lovely we dog. 👃
Is it normal to have a favourite motorway service station? In my mind, yes! And mine is the same, excellent quality food, farmshop, staff always friendly. I was very happy when they opened Southbound but Northbound is my favouriteest favourite.
Hello everyone........HAPPY BIRTHDAY Teddy xxxxxxx .......... Can I just say that I think you are a lovely family the children are soooo good ..... or do we only see what you put in your blog????? We went on a 3 week holiday to Scotland the cheapest caravan park we found was £25.00 r night we have to bear in mind that I am also disabled so what you have paid for that park up is a BARGAIN runnning water and a flushing toilet god for it . I thinnk you are all fantastic but my Favourite is TEDDY I totally adore him he is a swatheart thanks for sharing your blogs they are all fantastic thank you LOL Debbie Marsh xxxxxxxxx
So kind, they are great kids, but obviously we still have tantrums and stress just like any family. We just save that from the viewers. Nobody else needs to endure their tantrums 😂 xx

The Bakers Dolphin coach you featured in the video is actually from Weston super Mare, the company is a local company that’s been going for over 100 years.
The coach in question may have been on one of the holiday tours that Bakers Dolphin sometimes Organised to the Lake District, hopefully the coach wasn’t badly damaged in the floods that was featured in this episode of the videos

3:26 those steps look like they'll slide over the chassis. If you take the back legs off you can set the top step on a slider parallel with the floor so the ground beside the lorry doesn't have to be exactly level. You could even park beside a bank if you wanted to.
Happy birthday Teddy! I remember having our stuff in storage it was horrible, at the time our landlord sold our home so we had to move in with my dad, two years until we got a home. Good luck sorting xx

When we lived in Oxfordshire (we live in France now) and my sister lived north of Aberdeen, Tebay services were always our favourite stop off on our car journeys up and back ❤

Rosie is coming along, and she looks lovely. One cheap tip to help with the chewing and teething, which our 6 month old Cocker Spaniel Arnie loves, is old socks. We've made up a few sacrificial sock chews, basically it's a few old socks rolled up into a ball with some dry kibble in them, leave the last sock long so it can be used as a tug toy as well. Arnie loves his and it channels his addiction to shoes and clothes into chewing only what you want him to chew.
What if the dog eats the socks though? A lot of people have had to have them surgically removed from their dogs. She might also get obsessed with the family's socks. Better to give her a Kong with some doggy safe peanut butter in and kibble. Or a lickimat.
It gets them under supervision , so no danger of destroying or ‘eating’ the sock, but get your concerns. He also has a Kong and isn’t interested in a lick mat at the moment, and prefers the softer sock toy. Thankfully he’s not shown any interest in clothes. He does like to borrow our Crocs, but isn’t possessive and will drop them she asked to. I guess they’re all individual and using what they like is the key.

The no playing rule could be for safety of people behind the motor homes also a person using a skateboard up the bank could cause erosion of the soft banks even expose underground services that have been laid in a shallow trench.
I agree. They were in a gorgeous spot with loads of great facilities and they taught their kids to be ungrateful and break the rules. You can see where the banks are eroded. No respect

We try
You can park for 24 hrs at the services itself for £22 which includes a £6 voucher for the cafe. Last year it was £18 and a £4 voucher which we thought you could spend in the shop but no. Obviously no electric/services but toilets/shower in the services themselves. Go as far up and over the back car park as you can, we slept fine. Cafe is great value if you;'re feeding all the children for only a £1. Good if arriving late at night as we were.
Stayed at Tebay on my way to and from Belfast. Excellent place but I was in a camper so stayed in the cheaper car park. Same family also run Gloucester services if you are ever down that way. Lovely vlog as always.

However in 7 week’s time, we will be moving back up to Cumbria (where I’m from originally) and we all can’t wait to be back Up North, even if it does rain quite a bit! 😁 We will definitely be paying a visit to Tebay for one of those salted caramel eclairs!! 😍

Not a bad price if it includes the electric that seems to be a standard price on reasonable sites, seems to depend on area the more popular the area the more expensive the sites are. That was a tease at the end, was it an old test packet and scan pic or not I wonder? 🤔

Re Rosie eating her bed - our little friend ended up at the vet with an expensive bowel obstruction due to eating synthetic fibres - the little bugga loves minkie and polarfleece type of fabric and sucks & chews before eating it. It's plastic so doesn't dissolve in her tum. So from the charity shops we got some old electric blankets made from pure wool (with the electric cabling removed) and she can chew that as much as she wants without hurting herself. The vet was really intense about not letting them chew any synthetic fabrics. 😊

IF you are off to Ireland do try the Wheaten Bread with Buttermilk such as ORMO and then, if you like it buy the Wheaten Bread Mix. No kneading, just add buttermilk and what I love is same ml of buttermilk to gm of flour so I can make a loaf using 350 of each or just a roll using 50 of each. Bit similar to Soda Bread but kept better and a bit sweeter for some reason. I got addicted to it and brought a couple of bags of mix back - next time I am filling the van up 🤣🤣🤣

Can’t remember how I ended up watching you guys and to find out you’s use to live in Carlisle as show ya it’s a small world as am from Carlisle myself. Anyways was going to ask how comes you haven’t got any graphics on the camper, rather than mountains how about shadows of you’s and the kids in then blue like the cab.

£26 is very reasonable, especially when you consider parking your camper in the commercial vehicle area would cost the same for no facilities as well as non stop noise, i am jealous. Tebay northbound is my favourite motorway stop by miles, friendly staff and always clean.

It's really depressing the prices of campsites in the UK have rocketed since last year even. We have a caravan and thinking of selling up, cheaper to wait for prem inn deals🥴
It is, I prefer to wild / free camp and spend my money locally visiting places, coffee and cake or pub meals etc. As a fully off grid campervanner with a compost loo I only really need a rectangle of tarmac for the night and a water tap every 7 - 10 days.
We also think some campsites are very expensive now!

This is also our favourite service area anywhere in the UK. when heading to Cairnryan north direction or any location South bound direction from Cairnryan. Its amazing, you can actually to drive from one side of the M6 to the services on the opposite side. So many other's if not all are PATHETIC. Most have not changed since 1977 and fallen into a waste of space. where PROFIT comes first. Charge a small fortune to PARK and EAT, then get out quick as you can attitude. YET! THEY ARE ADVERTISING 'TIREDNESS KILL'S' Service area x mile ahead. FOOD IS OFTEN RUBBER OR SHOE LEATHER SERVED UP WITH GRUMPY FACES. Why! are many so filthy, dilapidated and unwelcoming??
